    My Uncle Chris used to own Chris' Delicatessen and Marina just down the river from where you turned around. He built it with my father in the early 50's. We used to go fishing and crabbing there every summer as a kid n the 70's. It's been bulldozed since about 2019, but the memories will live on. Thanks for posting this nice memory.

    Thank God Bon Jovi no longer lives there. Now we just have to get Phil Murphy to move. Then we can get back to fully enjoying all the scenic views of our beautiful Navesink.

    I grew up in the area sixty years ago. I always imagined how great it would have been to live in that area before the Europeans showed up.

    I was born at River view hospital, and grew up in Red Bank. I moved because the property taxes were to high!

    Grew up in Red Bank and married a girl from Rumson early '60's! REALLY MISS IT!!

      Went in the Coast Guard in JERSEY and was stationed at SANDY HOOK 64-68 !!

    Without those “bennies” you Jersey Shore business owners would be on fricken welfare the entire winter.
