Amani sadly passed away 4 days after her graduation ceremony on 21/02/2022
Amanis graduation was truly a day of honour. A day we will forever remember & treasure. The day the University of Bedfordshire visited Amani at home to award her with an MSc Masters in Applied Social Welfare with Distinction.
This was in acknowledgment of the work she completed whilst on the course but
also in recognition of Amani's campaigning work she has done since her terminal brain cancer diagnosis. Amani was both honoured & overwhelmed to finally achieve her Masters.
We would like to thank the University of Bedfordshire and in particular -

* Dr Lana Burroughs, Acting Head of School of Society, Community & Health
for making the awards ceremony so personal, touching & memorable.
So pleased that we were able to arrange this special day for Amani and all her family and friends. All of us at the University of Bedfordshire are so proud of her achievements. She is an inspiration to our staff and students.

What an inspiration and gift you are to this world. I lost my best friend to brain cancer in 2018. She was an inspiration throughout her illness. I miss her so much. Life is cruel but she made the impact she was meant to in her short life leaving behind people who remember her so fondly.
Lost a princess to this temporary world. May her efforts not be forgotten and her work be a constant reminder to do good.
This will be a gift to help her in Sadka Jariya. (Charity / knowledge used by the people after your passing)
An example of this charity = in Islam if you plant a tree, and those who benefit from the tree (whether an animal resides or uses as a shade or we benefit from it's fruits) then the blessings are passed on to the person, even after he or she passes away. In imanis case, this will be the charity of knowledge

SubhannaAllah, my heart has poured into a flood of tears that has filled a river. I've watch this exact video 5 times and really has melted my heart into crumbles. I want to innsh'Allah meet you dear Amani in Jannaah-tul Firdaous. Her story has moulded my view of life so much to the point I now remember her name and her family in my Duahs in every prayer and supplication.
This story and message of hers have impacted me to the point that innsh'Allah one day, when Allah grant's me a daughter, I will name her Amani.
I have listened to all her podcasts and videos on this channel, and her recognition of hard-work and service should be spread out continuously. Her knowledge will be a charity for us. It truly has indeed brought me closer to Allah swt.

I'm so sorry to hear about Amani's passing. From everything I've seen she was an absolute star and so brave for putting herself out there to give hope and inspiration to others.
And she was absolutely hilarious, I love how upbeat she was in these videos and cracking jokes, a testament to her upbringing. Again, I'm really sorry, but please know that her memory lives on forever through these videos and she's still inspiring others.
