"Absolute Lucas Tracy levels of analysis" 💀 ☠️ 💀 ☠️ 💀
Hahahahaha! Sly..
SO DEAD
🤣
Glad people see Lucas Tracy bum ass for the dimwit he is in the YT mma scene
😂
Lol Dana's "what do you mean?" To the most straight forward question ever 😂
He only says that to give his weasel ass more time to think of some bullshit answer.
Can the UFC actually "ice" someone out though? Surely the ability of the UFC to limit a fighter's actions outside of the promotion is contingent on the UFC actually offering that fighter the fights he is under contract for. Otherwise you'd have a situation where UFC could have a 23 year old fighter with one fight left on his contract and and Dana just says "we won't give you that last fight so you'll never fight either for us or for anyone else ever again, slave. lolz!". No way it works like that under modern USA labor laws.
The ol reliable
Pretty based when he said the reporter would not be there if he had money to explain the Conor issues
Dana just knows how to handle the media so well it’s nuts
it's clear Dana is having some sort of negotiation beef with Conor, he always starts talking shit indirectly when the fighters don't do what he wants, when it was Jones who wanted a better deal Dana was like "we know what 'show me the money' means, he's scared of Francis" when Francis had issues he'd be like "Francis is an egomaniac", now that its Conor its the same thing
Francis sold 300k PPV so he isn’t that big of a star.
@@friedmotherboards2395 wasnt this on boring card and even still the ufc only shares like 1% of revenue with fighters they can easily share a little bit more especially for just 1 fighter
@@aarongifford69 if they got paid more you’d end up like boxing where champs fight once a year. Where is Crawford? Errol Spence? Wilder? These dudes don’t fight 3 times a year.
@friedmotherboards2395 not necessarily, more money across all fighters mean more competition due to more motivation, and since its an occupation ufc contracts can make it mandatory to fight at least once a year
@@friedmotherboards2395Thats a reeeeetarded analysis beyond belief.
Boxers dont fight often and against high opponents because there are multiple belts that legitimise them as world champion enabling them to make more money and protect their legacy.
Ufc fighters dont have that problem.
Also UFC fighters make crazy amounts of money and still fight.
Jones mentioned that he made up to 5 million per title defense. Alex makes millions + ppv bonuses.
Top fighters make per fight generational wealth snd still fight.
Most people talking about fighters pay also should more talk about the people fighting at the bottom of the barrel making 10 10.
Prime or not, this fight favors Conor. I highly doubt this is the one fight where Chandler actually fights smart. Its going to be standing, Conor is the better boxer, Chandler doesnt have the best defense and Conor doesn't have to worry about defending leg kicks.
Agreed only way chandler wins if he wrestles which he never does
Except against Poirier.
Drugs makes fights > styles makes fight
You all forgetting what Conor been up to last years
Chandler could easily beat Conor if he was smart. The only reason this fight is close is because Chandler has terrible IQ

It’s not just the losses as porier and khabib are elite. It’s the time off, the injuries, the age and the game has changed massively. He just isn’t the same.
My main concern is the lifestyle he’s been living. He was all over the place partying hard, drinking and all the other stuff.
The real problem will be the amount of alcohol and cocaine he has taken in this 3 years of inactivity
And too much gear. Large amounts of gear is good for body building and strongman type activities, but less so for fighting because while it can increase strength and muscle mass (and recovery), it can also slow you down and makes you less healthy overall. A moderate amount of gear is ok for fighting, but Conor seems to have been juicing to the gills (along with drinking and snorting to the gills as well).
@@justinw1765Lol Overeem after roids is a harsh decline
Max knocking out justin and Alex knocking out jamahal almost made up for Charles losing.
yeah.. I would have preferred Charlie used his hands early on, rather than gassing out his arms on a choke.
It definitely made up for it this is a cope comment and I wanted Charles to win but that card was special
Almost. Are you drunk?
If only he hadn't stayed in guard for so long. He fought it like a five round fight, and if it was, then he most likely would've won. It should have been a five found fight, but I guess they didn't have the time on the card to have another five round fight.
I think switching to an ineffective style that causes you to start losing does make you kind of washed
It was a very effective style but it got watched and studied he must change something to comeback better
He didn't lose because of his boxing stance, he was just really susceptible to leg kicks.
Damn crazy speed on the video
So much about this is incorrect. People don’t just say he’s not the same fighter because he lost lol. Everyone’s noticed that he hasn’t looked the same in years. His shots aren’t landing as much, he’s not as fast or sharp with his timing regardless of stance, and he’s not able to avoid strikes as well. Not to mention he’s 35 years old and has only won 1 fight in 8 years. Along with that he’s physically aged 10 years in the last 2 years from all the partying he does and he went from dominating to getting finished 3 of his last 4 fights. Not once have I heard someone just say “because he lost”. Chandler stays in the gym and as soon as Conor gets hit with one solid shot that hurts him he’s going to be looking for a way out I believe. Once he gets hurt he’s never able to mentally fight through it and weather the storm like some fighters can. You can’t hit your prime twice and Conor isn’t active enough in competition.
Facts, let’s make sure to come back to this video after the fight 😂
@@gallardo7813 For sure 👍
Mendes cracked him and mauled him on the ground and he came back and won wym lol
“Once he gets hurt he’s never able to mentally fight through it and weather the storm like some fighters can”
That statement is literally completely factually incorrect
It was much different at FW. He was the big man and had the upper hand in many departments. But going up his power hasn't been as decisive.
Conor isn’t washed he just moved up to a new weightclass and fought better competition. Also he didn’t stay consistent
The guy broke his leg, hasnt fought in 3 years, has been taking serious amounts of cocaine and alcohol, and is on a 2 fight losing streak. The guy is washed. Now he has to fight a guy like Michael Chandler who literally never leaves the gym and has been hungry for this fight since 2022? Yeah, its wraps for Conor. But I have a real feeling we'll never see this fight anyways.
His last win was a cherry picked fight over cowboy 4 years ago. Before that his last win was Alvarez in 2016. He's 1-3 at 155 and had 0 notable wins at 170. But ok 😂
@@forwardmoving8252 - On paper it sounds bad... but let's think about it some more. At 155 he lost against Khabib (everyone did so does it REALLY count?) and Dustin. For the second Dustin fight McGregor hadn't fought in a long time, and came back with a totally different style that didn't really work for him. He happened to duck his head into a massive shot from Dustin. While there was skill involved in that TKO from Dustin's side, there was luck involved too. It was definitely a legitimate win for Dustin though. The third fight with Dustin, I thought McGregor looked great honestly. But we all know what happened -- he had a pre-existing leg injury (it's proven now) and his leg snapped. We've only seen a few leg snaps like that in the UFC. This is a 1/100 or more unlucky event. Let's jump to 170. He beat Donald Cerrone, who at that time was still an effective gatekeeper of the Welterweight division, and he beat him in devastating fashion. We must remember Welterweight is two weight divisions above McGregors natural weight class. We shouldn't dismiss that victory just because Cerrone was on his decline. But is McGregor washed? Probably, yes. Not because of his recent fight performances, but because of his leg break. Silva and Weidman suffered a similar injury and haven't been the same ever since. Add on McGregor's inactivity and I think yeah, he's done. Happy to be proven wrong though - a McGregor victory against Chandler could be a nice send off for his career.
@@forwardmoving8252Thats quite harsh on him.
He is 1-2 in LW.
You can’t really count his bone just snapping as a loose to him.

@@nb-rc8nf Beating a washed cowboy is all he has to celebrate in 8 years. Genuinely pathetic considering how good he used to be.

@@nb-rc8nf Bro... are you dumb? Why would me saying his last win was against a washed cowboy suggest I was saying he was in his prime? That's really what you took from my comment? 🤦
I believe his performances began to become more pressing, erratic and less patient (i.e. not playing the counter-game as often) around the time of Proper 12. His lifestyle, inside and out, became less meditative and more impulsive when he began drinking so, much more, even during the Khabib camp. I feel it's correlated. May Counter McGregor return in June!
His best attribute is his tolerance for cocaine. He's a fringe top 15 contender at best on his way out.
"he's rich" means Dana has to negotiate with something besides money - like opponent, date, location, contract details which is much harder than just "i'll pay you X,000,000 to fight on this day in this location against this guy."
The thing is Dana could pay all that much to EVERY fighter, ok maybe exaggerating but u get what im trying to say, and still have enough money for himself to live like a rich hog
"No one can tell me why Connor is washed"
Proceeds to tell us why Connor is washed and explained why Prime Connor would win against Chandler
Dana’s answer that the reporter would not be there asking that question was actually based
Chandler is grounded at 170. Conor was kind of sluggish at 170. Chandler's biggest mistake is him constantly indulging in flurries in his fights. Conor will rely on perceived technical flaws. Conor was great at 145, but at 155, he's 1-3. It favors Chandler!💯
Conor is gonna be the first fighter to lose by dying from cirrhosis of the liver in the octagon.
Chandler by liver kick TKO.

122k in just three days
I keep forgetting McGregor and Jon Jones aren't retired. Is he washed up? His record is 3-4 in his last 7 fights. 4 fights in 8 years.
Whoa! Never really realized this, he hasn't had a significant win since 2016 against Eddie Alvarez to become the first ever double champ!
The two belts that he never defend once 😢
You can still see him move differently than he used to which means he probably doesnt fight as "spring-like" as he used to, maybe less flashy, maybe even less confident, but he is undoubtedly still a master technician, and maybe he even upped his cardio a bit so dangerous for sure!
It's not the fact that he isn't winning fights anymore, it's a matter of his career and skill set has stagnated. He hasn't been active in the slightest and between boxing Floyd (which screwed up his original karate stance heavy style for a plodding boxing heavy style) and long lay offs with no progression or evolution to his skillset he's hopeless. Dustin and Khabib wrote the blueprint on how to beat Conor, he's helpless on the ground to smothering pressure and he's one of the most susceptible fighters when it comes to calf kicks, once Conor loses his mobility and illusiveness all he has is punching power and his Chin isn't good enough to survive when he's that limited.
1) he’s a drug addict, cocaine junky who clearly doesn’t have the drive or discipline to be a top fighter anymore 2) even when he was fighting recently against Dustin, he’s lost his light on his feet style with karate kicks. He only boxes now. Sorta unbelievable that Che can’t see that.
Absolute facts
Well said.
The boxing match only took up like 6 months total. It was a pretty quick camp. Idk why he's kept the style so much though.
He beat Donald Cerrone!
When Charles video?!?!?!??!!?
I gotta disagree here, Conor has always been a pressure based counter-puncher. He’s always in his opponents face which invites the counters. When he needs to he can also initiate his own offensive with setups starting with his jab or feints. Conor has some of the best boxing combos in the UFC. The reason why he struggled against Dustin in the second fight is because he was rushing to hit Dustin causing him to overextend but its not inherently because he was being offensive.
Dude hes an ADDICT Bad. addicts dont make great UFC comebacks

Never thought Mcgregor was washed. I just genuinely don’t think he’s very good unless he’s weight bullying featherweights. His power didn’t translate. In addition he’s had YEARS of inactivity between fights. Not saying he lost his edge, but while he was inactive, these other fighters have been grinding and the sport has evolved and they’ve simply passed him by. Chandler is a bad matchup for him. Short explosive wrestler with relentless forward pressure and heavy hands and a chin to match. We’ve never really seen mcgregor have to brawl before. It’s gonna be too much.
I'm glad I came across this video, our thoughts are in alignment my dude, been seeing comments for months about how " Conor is washed up" or " he's broke" and Ive opposed this with many of the same facts u used in this video, some of my own opinion but rooted on a logical basis. Explained the psychology behind why so many ppl are jumping behind these negative statements, prolly have opposed 20+ comments like that and guess what?.. Only 2 responses back lol. Ppl know the truth they are just either brainwashed or in need of acceptance, similar to what u said in the video. Great stuff man love it 🙏
Ball gurgling for 10min straight
Counters from pressure.. now thats a good point
Could Conor defeat chandler with that pressure style though? He has a chin and can come back and return fire. That saying we should give porier that credit he deserves, he’s a great boxer and was that good to just defeat Conor. Sure there was a lot of the credit being due to switching up his style but it’s equally because it was a rematch at a higher weight and that benefited Dustin too with every other factor
I think connors inactivity can be an advantage, he’s only ever been tapped and had a semi KO from DP in the 2nd fight other then this and his leg and age his fight time and damage is pretty fresh, though it has it cons also 170 is a tough division but keen to see what he does
Semi KO vs porier? 😂

It's called a TKO. But we all know what he meant.
@@gamersinger5118 No, that's implying that he lost. He had some real bad luck with his leg, it could've happened to his opponent as well. That's why it's a technical non-contest.

Oh my mistake. I thought you were talking about the second fight. I see now you are referring to the third. Yea. That should have been a no contest but because of the rules of the game they just let Poirier be the winner. Happened to Anderson Silva in the second fight with Chris Weidman too.
great breakdown buddy, you know your stuff
Conor Fights for Ego, not money. If he fought for the money he woulda been retired years ago
The ultimate fighter used to constantly have multiple top contenders going in and out of the game with legends in all weight divisions. Now it seems to be 1 guy in each and even then some of them still don’t get the recognition they deserved
So you're not deleting your channel now?
He said he'd delete his channel if Charles loses to Islam, that is yet to have happened
He should with this braindead level of analysis.
@@billfrench1069then you post a video of what a good analysis looks like
You "should" oil up
Conor was always a pressure fighter, he used pressure and range to get his opponents to overextend and then counter. He was not an adesanya type of fighter where he would run around and leg kick until you made a mistake. Also what helped him with counter striking was that he was always fighting short dudes with shorter reach than him, his speciality was using range and his reach. He cant do that as easily to dustin whos not a small short fighter.
Great analysis. Here's a much simpler one. Poirier studied the first fight and studied McGregor's other fights. Conner's fighting stance is his weakness. Kicking the lead leg is a no brainer.
Every fighter in their mid-thirties on a two-or-more-fight losing streak, in this case with a severe injury included is washed until he or she proves the opposite inside the cage.
connors best atribute is his speed and reactions and those things go quickly with age
Not enough big meaty hooks this video 0/10
great video. people need to keep in mind chandler is almost 40 and has only beat Dan Hooker and Tony Ferguson… so scary…
He literally was inches from beating Dustin, Justin, and Charles. He nearly finishes every opponent in the first rd. Aside from Tony ironically enough
To think Conor comes back as the same fighter from 2016 is insane
im expecting conor to spark chandler like he did eddie alvarez. conor can get touched for sure, but i just dont see mike being able to compete on the feet and im taking into account this weaker mcgregor
Conor’s only chance is in a Big Meaty Hooks contest
We don’t know that Connor is washed for certain but saying people can’t answer the question or say “they just say cause he lost” either isn’t true or your talking to non combat sports fans. The truth is since Alvarez he is 1-3, bow 35, recovering from a serious leg injury, been inactive AND most importantly seems to be partying more then he has been training. Sure we don’t know for certain he is washed but all the smart money says the Connor who destroyed Alvarez is long gone
3:30 I find most people who say Conor is washed argue he’s now using a flat footed stance and ”doesn’t kick anymore”
Which is false - he threw tons of kicks in the dustin rematches
I think it’s important to note that Dustin being a southpaw game him access that someone who is orthodox may not have.
I thought it was obvious Conor can’t come back because UFC is a no-doping organization.
Jon Jones.
MMA Che on suicide watch rn
Idk if i can trust your analysis if you think the only sign of decline in conor is that he lost a couple fights.
What's different about his performances is his timing and nerves are off. He hesitates where ge didn't used to.. he second guesses himself and thats what was costing him in the poirer fights
Very good breakdown
at his best Conor would have destroyed Chandler the way he did Eddie Alvarez. On the feet, Conor is way too slick for the fundamentally flawed Chandler who blocks most punches with his face. But who knows how much Conor has left and which Conor shows up that night. If Chandler wrestles Conor he will have a good chance of winning. If it’s a striking match Conor will likely knock him out
Didn’t think Conor was washed after the habib fight, but I definitely did after his return against Dustin. Leg snap or not, he didn’t look like Conor of old. Didn’t seem nearly as dynamic or quick, which is in my opinion what made him so good. Particularly in his hips they seemed super stiff. Won’t claim to be the most knowledgeable guy on the sport, but I think it was obvious he’s not the same guy and that’s not even an age thing. As you said, his style change up doesn’t work for his skill set.
My only concern with the Connor is he shows way less foot work now. He use to be the embodiment of “Like water” that was shown in even his walk out, a lot of people meme’d it. But it was showing off how loose and flowy he was. Now he’s very stationary and flat footed. I hope he can find that flow again. I really want him to win.
Snapping your leg in half certainly isn’t going to help with that lol
His stance and style isn’t what it used to be, he thinks he’s a boxer and has abandoned the karate style and the wide range of moves that made him predictable and hard to deal with, chandler might just get him down in the mat and keep him there
Idk man Connor had some good TDD against khabib if he really wants to train grappling in camp I think he can hang with chandler who gets like 1 takedown a fight
Chandler fight iq is just not there I think chandler will willingly try to stand and bang with Conor and he will get tko
Charles yesterday saying "I own this division" was cringe, anytime a fighter starts to sound arrogant they'll immediately lose
all i heard. Conor lost to Poirier and Khabib. he must be dogshit now
Great analysis MMA Che. Very refreshing to not hear, the Conor bashing and the "he's washed" remarks! I've kept track of McGregor since he was still on a scooter because of his leg surgery. He has been in the gym constantly since then, maybe not in training camp mode, but working on his skills. Now for close to a year he's been in the gym, training in hopes of a soon scheduled fight. I think he'll be ready, and from the videos I've seen, he looks sharp as ever. He's 35 years old! That is still prime age!
Conor’s style is favored but can he overcome the ring rust and bad injury? Chandler has been training hard the last 2 years, Conor has been recovering, filming movies, so on.
Dustin told Rogan he was almost out their second fight and Conor didn't capitalize on it.
Conor wasn’t hated by the hardcore fan when he was coming up, not at all.
I totally agree. I don't think Conor has degraded significantly from age. His last two opponents are the very best of the best. And, totally, if Conor manages distance and counters, and Chandler marches forward Chandler is going to get tagged hard and often. Chandler has gotta finally modify his stomp forward and swing approach. Its great to watch, I respect it, but he loses fights because of it.
I disagree with that take on Conor. The Conor that fought Dustin the 3rd time was not just as skilled as the Conor that fought Khabib. My reason for this opinion is in his choice in stance and overall fight IQ along with his reaction time seemingly being a bit off tho this could be do to a whole host of undisclosed injurys but if not shows a level of decline.
The power will be there. Reaction time increases starting around 30, so his counters might not be crisp
Solid analysis
I agree with most of what you're saying, but I don't think you can say a man who's coming off of several year layoffs (while splitting his focus on multiple businesses) is on his prime, specifically when he's going against people who've taken no breaks and gotten better. We saw what happened when McGregor and Poirier were both ten toes down, then we saw what happened when only one was. I also might catch hell for this, but the McGregor who fought Alvarez puts Khabib to sleep. He looked rusty. He had moments, but that wasn't the same dude, and how could it be? He hadn't fought MMA in 2 years.
Fully expect Chandler to 10-8 Conor and ragdoll him on the ground for the first round, then to just run at him with his chin in the air until he gets KO'd in the second.
Dana White is just the face of the UFC. He actually doesn't have anything to do with any of the contract negotiations or any of the actual real behind the scenes, legal stuff between fighters and the UFC anymore. Dana White is the UFC's spokes person.
Conors problem is that he's a front runner. He's great in the first round or so, but if he loses control of the fight after that, he breaks. It seems like a mental issue more than anything.
This fight should be similar to the cowboy fight

I’ve noticed that. Both make entertaining content but dissing Lucas is some washed shit. Flukes living rent free in Che’s head
Crazy that he mentions Tracy and tries to diss him, but HIS video actually has the braindead analysis. Everyone knows Conor is washed or at least heavily diminished. He’s a drug addict, cocaine junky now, and also doesn’t even utilize the karate style that got him big in the first place.

Funny to see Conor race the other guys when doing those low lunges. I was admiring the movement quality of the long haired guy (Ido Portal?) and here comes Conor rushing to the front, ignoring the whole point of the exercise. I guess it takes that kind of competitive spirit to reach the top of something this hard to do :)

Dana said the same thing about GSP and he doesn't want to fight.
Everyone says Conor is "Washed" but if that is anyone's fault it's the UFC's because they wouldn't book him while he was active. Also the first Poirier fight was after a long layoff then the 2nd one everyone says was so bad for Conor but it could have still went either way but he broke his leg.
UFC is 100% to blame they were too busy goofing off with boxing matches and big money fights instead of pushing him to the top he could’ve became the best FW if UFC wasn’t so worried about silly Nate Diaz fights
It’s been 3 years, and those 3 years were without him engaging in elite level/caliber intensity training plus him living a decadent lifestyle, getting into his late thirties, and he’s just at a different point in his life now: this isn’t going to be a Jon Jones vs Ciryl Gane comeback. I highly doubt he’s gonna have any success fighting anymore

The Chandler disrespect is crazy. I agree, Conor that fought Alvarez would murder Chandler, but he isnt the same guy anymore. Not to mention he also snapped his leg and i never seen an athelete be the same after such an injury. The deciding factor would be yet again Chandlers fight IQ, the guy was so close to finish both Charles and Dustin if he had the right approach, Dustin even said Chandler had the finish in the first round if he didnt throw crazy looping haymakers.
I agree with many of your takes here but there has been a significant decline in his performances post 2018 4:52 against DP he was looking for and overextending his punches to land, his "power" was always his timing against his opponent, I just hope we get that Conor this time around.
Against Khabib he was expected to lose, with most of these other guys, Connar always had a chance to win, but I believe he's not the same fighter after Khabib dominance and humiliation.
Dude just absolutely forgot grappling exists🤯 This EXACT same argument could’ve been made for the Khabib fight and look how that turned out. It’s definitely fair to say Chandler has more refined striking than Khabib.
It's Ayficial?
I think Conor literally just needs to be patient. like you say here. Move. Counter and get some time in the cage. Yes if he does knock chandler out then fine. but for me he needs time to show himself he’s still got what it takes also and that will be a massive boost in confidence moving forward coz chandler can legit throw down and fight.
dude literally said that people think Conor’s washed because evolution has made us want to conform - hilarious
