London’s burning followed by spitting image on a Sunday night was the best tv on a Sunday back in the 90s

Sicknote was hilarious

Quite 🥜 0:06
From this episode especially, I feel like John Hallam and Kate Stevens had a good bond of probationary officer and sub/station officer.
Yeah, I see what you mean. I think he and Billy Ray also had a similar bond at times, almost like father/son.
@@BenBanjo87 Another fantastic example!
Looks good, doesn't it ? The underground scene was filmed at a real (disused) station. Obviously they made sure the power supply to the track section was cut off. The shot of the train approaching was a mock up of the front of a train cab pushed along the tracks manually from behind by the TV crew. The close ups of the stationary train was a real train (Again after the power was cut ). It was all edited together afterwards to make it look continous.
Ah okay thks for explaning:)
Was it filmed at Aldwych?
@@jameschristmas3206 Not sure, I think it may have been.
@@jameschristmas3206 Yes, this was filmed at Aldwych, even though back then this part of the Piccadilly Line was still in normal service before the Aldwych branch closed in September 1994.
@@mistofoles in the story, why when the guy touches the negative rail isn't there a staged electric shock (I know the power was off in set), is that because in real life the negative rail on it's own can't shock or what?
