Have been watching Check Please for years and I have to note that Gabriel Chaparro, Derek Wong and Eugenia Arbol have become my favorites!!.
And Mr. Chaparro's comment at the 15:56 mark about how people may expect food from people of colour to cost less yet the recipes have been passed down generation to generation, made me cry! So true! Actually, wrote that down and will be using it!! Thank you!
I live near Dia de Pesca and remember when they first started out. Good to see how well they have evolved. Will definitely, suggest it to others. :D
After seeing this earlier, I decided to go to Dia de Pesca today & wow, I loved it! The staff there is so nice, friendly, & helpful & the prices were good! I'm planning on going back to this place a lot & I'm so happy it was on check please since it's nice knowing a great near by restaurant!
