Putting V10 sounds over V6 footage *should* be illegal
He should not have almost died he could’ve
The way the title is written, it makes it sound as if they wanted him to die 😅
in some cases, "should have" refers to when something is expected to happen, but doesn't happen
In this context the use of "Should have" refers to the severity of the incident, being so severe by all odds he 'Should' have died, how ever he defied those odds be it by luck or training/ saftey engineering. so yes should have is the correct term and correctly relays the severity of the crash
Anyone of at least average intelligence knows exactly what the title meant. I’m sure you fit that criteria. Stop being a semantics soldier.
Grammarly just broke.😆
As someone who doesn’t speak English regularly, I understood the title perfectly and it baffles me how people who actively speak this language can’t understand that « should have » means he survives against all odds instead of a simple opinion the creator has. Learn to speak English before leashing out all your hate on someone with a great storytelling and a well built video.
Agreed
Brilliant!
Real
I agree with your comment. It is also interesting, because the word >should< is obviously not used to imply that it would have been justified. It is like you say, that the term to a foreign speaker is similiar to the meaning of the word "mustn't". However even with a different definition the phrase could be read as a comment on how all the factors of the situation seemingly conspired against the driver, therefore making it a causality. In this way it is a different context, where in the importance of the person is not as high because of the purely chaotic nature of the crash. However the writer of the phrase might use it, because he sees himself as different from the driver, or better, or as purely a customer who has no interest in personal issues of the drivers or the theoretical possibilty of a human being hurt in the process of racing. The interesting thing here is, that not only this is a personality trait, it is also objectivly correct to see it this way, bevcause almost no one watching the race has a real insight into the human component of it. So even though almost no one might agree with it, it would be politicaly correct and just a madder of opinion, because the driver needs to protect himself and not act thoughtless.
As an English speaker this is exactly what I deduced from the title, you are much more fluent than most🎉
i hate how you took an AI to say the quotes instead of the actual audio, it sounds so stupid
It really doesnt take a genius to understand that those quotes dont exist as actual audio given he included actual audio of many other things.
I think its a nice feature and shows how dedicated he is that he had an AI with read it with a voic that strongly resembled the person he was quoting instead of just reading it himself.

I still think Brazil 2003 was Fernando's biggest crash, that impact was just massive
My thoughts exactly especially after Antoine Hubert
He crashed during the free trial of F1 we took for granted between 1994 till 2014
was just going to say that
Not sure if there's actually that many trolls or if there legitimately is that many people that probably SHOULD not have made it to adulthood...
The funniest part is how some of them have it explained and are like "no I know english better than you native speakers and I will ignore your explanation".

Wow, you're literally saying that you want them to die? 🌝

It's also just jarring and annoying. Show the crash first (for those whom never seen it), then break it down after.
agree
One thing I noticed, at 5:48 the track layout shown is the most recent one. It doesn't show the old turn 9-10 complex as it was removed for the 2021 Australian GP
@RedbullfanforLife yeah my bad I meant the track was modified in 2021
The amount of people in the current grid that would have probably died if things were only slightly worse or if the F1 didnt make such big steps forward with the safety features is pretty crazy.
All the safety gear Fernando was wearing , that which was built into the car and that absorbing material in and on the track, helped to save Fernando's life. But the key thing here was the car was moving throughout the entire accident. Each motion expended terrible forces that could have been transmitted to Fernandos body and brain. I saw it happen, as did millions of other fans did, live on tv and was astonished he was okay.
Robert Kubica's amazing crash at Canada stands out as one of the worst crashes with no real injuries in Formula One. In that case, there was a massive impact but the car never stopped, saving Robert's life. At the end of that accident, his feet were dangling out of the front of the car, incredibly...undamaged.
And, of course, Romain Grosjean's car, stabbing it's way through a guardrail at over 140 miles per hour, while Romain still kept his head on his shoulders, thanks to the Halo device, ranks as one of the most horrific survived accidents in racing history.
After many agonizing seconds, Romain's ghostly shadow, walking quickly through the flames, is a very welcome vision, I will never forget.
All thanks to those who died before and those who determined that no more would die like they did.
Thank you to all the people who saved these drivers lives and continue to do so today.
I remember Sophia Floersch as well. Of course not an F1 crash, but given she is german and currently basically the best female formula driver (driving F3 again now).
If I didnt know she survived and was racing again I would have 100% said the person there died. It was in Macao 2018, basically at full speed flying into a catch fence.
Seeing Romain Grosjean come out of those flames (after an eternity & all hope) was so confusing I will never forget his Miracle!🙏🏼👑 🕊️
My guy you got to stop with the jump cuts show the whole wreck 😂
I think it would be a better idea to change the titke to "The day Ferbando Alonso almost died" so people don't think you are wishing death to Alonso
Anyone with 2 braincells SHOULD understand what he means in the title.
Oddly specific and well timed.
I remember watching this live. At the time I thought two things which were, this isn’t going to be good and that camera shot was insane.
Now imagine crashing and ending up on your side in the middle of a live race track.
George Russel core 💀
wow i dont know when that will happen hopefully not soon 💀

Wrong title (should instead of could)
You are a thrill seeker, sad!
Alonso has real double Halo and guardian angels all around him… 🍀❤️
The more I learn about Alonso, the higher he goes on my list of favorite drivers!!!
Alonso is I believe the most conscious awareness of racing, racing tactics, his ability to recover his coffin and regain control from where others thought it impossible to recover. NOT SURE THE. ORRECT TERM BUT I WILL CALL IT
TRACK AWARENESS. He is playing CHESS where others playing tic tac toe. He can extract the most out of any car on any track.
I believe that he should be I. The category of GOAT even though he is not I. The top 5 today. Being able to drive and perform in F1. For as long as he has without significant deterioration of reflexes.
I hope Alonso, Is able to race for as long as he is competitive enough.
Then he would make probably THE. BEST ENGINEER F1 has seen.( already able to change n control outcome of race by slowing g down, or towing other people.). He is able to see the big picture almost all the time.
In truth the more I learn about individual drivers the more I like them. Like Norris, tsunodA, and thr. A or one HAMILTON. In the past Hamilton was my least favorite driver. I saw and still see him taking people out of race(front tire bump) and making it seem an accident or circumstance of turn.( Verstappen wallcrash at 51g.) saying he turned into him, Not even asking how he was for about a minute.
Just didn’t like him at all. However since he has fallen and more I learn about him as a person the more I am cheering for him. Even being anointed a knight. He is Sir Lewis Hamilton. He has a life outside F1 that does not deal with racing?plays guitar and many other hobbies.
im sorry but the editing and narrating style is just obnoxious
people out here not understanding the title and just shitting on the guy
Fernando Alonso is lucky to be alive
Your video thumbnails are cringe to say the least.
I've had 2 pneumothorax, that shot is very very painful. For him to he racing a few weeks later was crazy for me!
Talk about creating a drama for tha sake of a video full of hot air.
This was absolutely terrifying to watch I thought Fernando was dead when the car stopped moving it was an overwhelming feeling of relief to see Fernando out of the car and moving. This is one of those incidents that shows no matter safe the sport and cars are made racing will always be extremely dangerous.
and he is still hitting up the griddy
I hate this AI generated channel.
Also the title "The Day Fernando Alonso Should Have Died" sounds like u want to say "Alonso would be better off dead"
Should…bro he’s so good bro
“Altered the result in of the race”….. hmmmm💭
möhr hümäine zen mähn -:- näCk$yß
this video is made way too dramaticly, the title is bad, the ai voices are horrible. and it talks bullshit for way too long
It's a sign of the times wanting to race at speeds above 300 kph, even through corners, and expecting to be alive after a crash at such speeds. Every man who goes racing, be it F1 or any other type of racing really, gambles his life and if these men haven't come clean with that fact, they have no business being on the track. The "halo device" is as horrible as all the hybrid and electric crap F1 is pushing to appear acceptable to "woke" media, which of course they can't ever be. Not even Formula E can achieve that. F1 should double down on being a daring, potentially deadly sport, carried out with the use of gas guzzling 3 liter engines (or better). What F1 is today is a sad joke, compared to what it was during some eras of it's colorful history. Racing isn't for generation cry-baby, neither on the track nor on the spectator stands.
p.s. Alonso clearly isn't a cry baby, just to avoid misunderstanding.
The fact so many bits came flying off as he wrecked probably saved his life.
BTW, those words were Alonso's but on this segment, the audio with the voice actor's phony Spanish accent was not.
what about his crash in testing at barcelona that left him unconcious for a decent while and hospitalized? McLaren still hasn't told the truth but it is likely that he was ELECTROCUTED while driving. I feel like that was even more dangerous, as during a crash you need to be ready for impact and get your hands off the wheel. If you are unconcious, you can't do any of this...
Halo has been one of the best things implemented in F1.
Should have?!?! Bro wtf
in some cases, "should have" refers to when something is expected to happen, but doesn't happen
In this context the use of "Should have" refers to the severity of the incident, being so severe by all odds he 'Should' have died, how ever he defied those odds be it by luck or training/ saftey engineering. so yes should have is the correct term and correctly relays the severity of the crash
Not an Alonso fan, but can you blame the guy for looking like he soiled himself? 9:30 Any of us would look like we had the fastest shitting of the seat in human anthropology! A 200mph+ spinning and flying terd....
Clickbait and false information .
IF and thats a Bug IF Alonso should have died it was Back in brazil after the Webber Crash OR Belgien with grosjean
2003 brasil was for sure worse, cuz safety wasn't really something known in that era and below it. And we all know that he couldn't even stand on one of his leg. And had to get in an ambulance on that idk how its called bed
Absolutely fascinating how many people misinterpret the title of this video. Surely they must be doing it intentionally? Nobody could be THAT stupid?
"An F1 team must either build their own engine or be a works team to win the championship"
Well, about that...
Are those AI voice overs for the quotes? If yes, you "should" not do that. It doesn't add any value and exposes you to Legal risks that you probably aren't prepared for.
That's why I have a one of the reasons I own a Honda and also have the Top for this year.
I again don't like Alonso but I have the Top in respect and Honour for a man that cheated death!
He shows how far safety has come with F1.
I'm sure this crash influenced the Halo that save two drivers that I would never want to leave the sport. Thanks Alonso even thought you're an ass.
the title is not tecnically wrong but man... bad choice of words there
A video made by a dramatic Gen Z I guess, one that started seeing F1 in the last 2 years. Kubica's accident in Canada was way worse. He actually looked dead for a minute and all. F1 is extremely safe nowadays.
“Should have died”😂 bit over dramatised in my opinion tbh some of you f1 fans should watch the Isle of Man tt to really know what it would be like being close to death!
well...alonso might be a good driver, but people like schumacher, vettel, verstappen can also develop a car and help the team to get rid of problems with the car...
a skill alonso is lacking
but he got out and walked away!!! it was fine i dont think im going to die went through his mind
This video could have been 5 minutes long. The crash itself is explained kind of poorly and the title is in pretty poor taste. Just had to drag out an incident for views so you add a whole ass story which is irrelevant to the actual crash.
Everyone saying that have “should” in the title is wrong. At that time it was a very unlikely to survive a crash like that. So at the time of the race yes he should have died but he somehow managed to survive
5:24 I think that's not Australia :/
BTW it's Austria, for those they don't know
5:47 Gutierrez was driving for who?
SHOULD????????
in some cases, "should have" refers to when something is expected to happen, but doesn't happen

Yeah that title is severely out of pocket, God forbid that anything bad happens to any F1 driver, thankfully for all stupid decisions FIA made, safety improvements aren't one of them
Not even an english speaker and I still can understand the use of "should" lmao
How about David Coulthard his plane crashed everybody passed away but him
*could
"should have died" means you wish he was dead..... please change it to "could have died"
I was in the stand that day right where he finished up. It all happened too quickly to comprehend. All of a sudden there was a cloud of gravel. Luckily he was quick to get out, to a large round of applause. I did get some cool shots of the damaged cars though.
Yep, Alonso almost definitely should have died.
However, his car and the way it was constructed, definitely saved his life, that and quite a bit of luck on his part.
The fact that Alonso was able to get out of what was left of the car and physically walk unaided to the medical transport is a small miracle in and of itself.
Unfortunately most of the viewers are unable to grasp the obvious nuances of the English language and think the person making the video wants him dead.
😢Almost died? He walked away without a scratch. At least try to be accurate.
this video is fucking terrbile....bro just YAPPIN
poor choose of words for the description. He could have died, not should have

ok.. um… Should? SHOULD??? I mean tbh, Alonso isn’t as good as Jenson Button or especially not as good as Max Verstappen. BUT. it’s absolutely wrong to say “should have died” about Fernando Alonso, are you kidding me?? that’s worse than saying grosjean or hamilton should have died.. in 2020 because you have to be a real moron to compete in f1 in an absolutely shitty year like 2020 that year was so stupid and SHIT

Incredibly same kind of accident Jacques Villeneuve had with Ralf Schumacher at that same track and at the same place 15 years earlier. The difference was that Villeneuves crash was much worse. When canadian hit with his BAR-Honda in to Schumachers BMW Williams, there was higher speed and Villeneuves car lifted up to air immediately. It went totally in peaces when it ended up in to wall, minus the cockpit, and one of the track marsahlas got killed by the tire of Villeneuves car.
Another difference was that the Jacques/Ralf crash didn't bring out the Red Flag
He walked out and football players cry for a penalty if they get tapped
