The Bernina Pass (el. 2,.328 m or 7.638 ft.) (Italian: Passo del Bernina) is a high mountain pass in the Bernina Range of the Alps, in the canton of Graubünden (Grisons) in eastern Switzerland. It connects the famous resort town of St. Moritz in the Engadin valley with the Italian-speaking Val Poschiavo, which ends in the Italian town of Tirano in Valtellina. The pass lies a few kilometres east of Piz Bernina, and south of Val Minor.
The Bernina Pass is crossed by both the Hauptstrasse 29 road and the Bernina railway line, with a popular tourist train, the Bernina Express operating year-round between Chur and Tirano. The train crosses the pass west of the road at a slightly lower 2.253 metres (7.392 ft) (at Ospizio Bernina) - it is the highest adhesion railway route in Europe.
Lago Bianco, Lej Nair and Lej Pitschen are located on the pass.

Took a three scoop ice-cream (mint-choko, choko and tiramisu) and sat into Your car.. what a relaxing drive at the mountains. 😋Thanks for the lift!

Heaven on Earth Beautiful Switzerland.
It would have been if not for fаscist laws.
I follow a channel here that shows Tirano - St. Moritz rail journey pretty often (both ways across 4 seasons lol) and have put them on repeat so often that the beginning of this video feel so familiar 😂 I enjoy this driving video as well. Thank you for sharing!
I really like this journey. It's so calm and soothing for my mind. I am looking forward to new videos from you! Thanks! : )
Maybe one day i will drive my own car on this way.......
Do it! I am shipping one of my sidecar rigs over from the US, just so I can ride MY bike there!
One of my dreams too. With some nice Alfa Romeo (like Brera) and some nice girl.
That was beautiful as usual when it is Switzerland!!! Love that drive always!!!!! I love the beautiful classics building along with the pretty modern day 🏠 homes what a lovely combination!!!!

Passstraßen sind einfach herrlich. Ist man oben, kann man die Aussicht genießen. Danke für's Mitnehmen🙂
Gorgeous road, gorgeous views of the mountains! Thanks for an exciting trip!
Magnifique ! Mais sur la route du Bernina Pass, je trouve qu'au passage des travaux, ils vont un peu vite !
Cars can go over the railroads track... amazing....🙂
Very nice environment, very good video 👍
I once hiked up to the Morterätsch glacier with my boss. It's uncanny. Eerie even. They have signposts every few hundred yards detailing when the glacier was last at that spot. The earliest signposts are from the late 18th century. Comfortably far from my own lifetime. But soon enough you get into, and back out of the 19th century. Much too soon, you find your parent's birth date. Then your own. And you look ahead and realize how far it retreated in your own lifetime. Then you find the year 2000, a popular landmark in most of today's adult's lives. And there are still TREES growing there, real trees! And you walk on, and on, and the sign posts get tighter and tighter in dates, but they don't get physically closer to each other. It was the most chilling experience since the time I visited Ausschwitz. If you ever want to convince someone climate change is real, walk that path with them. If that doesn't shut them up, nothing will
проехала виртуально этот маршрут на поезде, теперь машиной)) Замечательно красиво, спасибо!!!
I've YT traveled both directions by rail winter and summer over this pass, and it's spectacular both ways. You've shown that the road is as well. Beautiful video!
Encore un beau voyage. Merci.
Just looking at it relieves stress!
Thank you for the beautiful video. Can I ask do you mount the GoPro inside or outside the car?
Thank you :) Outside
I’m trying to see speed limit signs but very hard to see one! Looked like you were flying through those little towns at start, where the train track came onto road. In Australia on a drive like this you would have passed at least 1000 speed signs!!! I’m trying to guess your car, it doesn’t sound like mercedes, i have one! Sounds like a BMW but bonnet doesn’t look like one! I am coming there next year in your summer, i don’t like the cold. Since no speed limit signs, i will open up the AMG, nurburgring style, they can send ticket to Australia. Keep on showing me these lovely roads & areas, what a lovely place!!!
Many roads in Switzerland have what is called a "default speed limit." This means that unless there is a sign indicating a different speed limit, the default speed limit is 50 km/h in built-up areas and 80 km/h outside built-up areas. 120 km/h on highways. ... VW Tiguan :)
It is important to note that Switzerland has a zero-tolerance policy for speeding, meaning that even exceeding the speed limit by a small amount can result in a (heavy) fine.
@@7ze3 Thanks for prompt response! My third choice was VW. Goes ok up those massive hills. It was the same here default system, but now they changed it.
@@7ze3 Not as bad as here! Minumum fine is $650, (392 CHF). heavy fine they actually take your car! Here they hide with radar gun everywhere, automatic speed detection & place recognition on all police cars! I let my girlfriend drive, she’s Deutsche & pretty, she talk to police nice, i have very bad public relation skills haha. I have to go a bit sideways in front of Kulm Hotel in St Moritz but, give the locals a bit of excitement. They like a bit of that don’t they?
is this with a gopro 11? it looks great. you do any postediting? 👍🏻

@@7ze3 thanks, and happy holidays 🎉
I wonder why I never got around to exploring that corner of Switzerland. I mean, I've driven up to Laax and Thusis maybe two dozen times, whenever I was on my way to the south or west of Switzerland. I've been to St. Moritz a number of times because my boss' wife came from that corner of Switzerland, but somehow I never got around to just going sightseeing there...
🇧🇷👍
Did you mount the camera outside the car? Looks really very sharp without any glare. ❤
Thank you :) Yes, outside. On windshield.
Nice Video,Like it .. I make Videos about Melbourne Australia as well, Driving and walking around ................................................

At the 3:18 point, where you were driving over the tracks, would you have to move over to allow an oncoming tram/train to pass? I just don't see a safe place to move over... 🤔
Olá, sou do Brasil.
