I can't help but love a game where you can get an ending where you turn the monster into a snazzy dancer.

Ah yes, a dog that spontaneously grows extra limbs, kills people, and disco dances is sure to win the Westminster Dog Show. Blue ribbons and prize money abound for this dog and protag combo; the disco dog ending definitely is the best ending for everyone involved, except the dog's victims, of course. Somehow I imagine the protag sleeps in the doghouse he built and the dog gets the real house in this scenario. I'm just left wondering where the lasagna ending is, where you and the dog sit down for a nice lasagna with your pal Garfield.
Fascinating little game with a quirky twist.
I kept expecting there to be an ending where he successfully finished the lasagna and gets to eat it, too. Oh well, maybe in Doghouse 3.

Nothing beats the dancing animation in the original. I should put in a patch to rectify this.
EDIT: New patch now live. In addition to the new dancing animation, it is now canon that the ceiling lights are fire alarms.

as in the kinds that looks comfy and normal on the surface but once you take a look at it closer you realize just how not normal and kinda lonely things are
i mean beyond the fence is just a yellow plane

The creator should make the standing dog model out of individual parts instead of one large model, that way it dances better. There's a good reason why old ps1 games had the moving things separated instead of having one connected model.
It's a deliberate choice I think.

A nice silly experience. I'm glad you included the first game to see how it's improved, and I definitely prefer the sequel to it. The endings were funny, the dog model is appropriately weird, and I'm a fan of those secret disco endings.

Yeah, the dance ending was obviously the good ending! As for the doghouse, I think that’s what got Leonard upset in the first place. You gotta let him stay inside with you and have lasagna dance parties.

Whenever I can’t sleep, there’s something about listening to him while getting lost in these games I find relaxing.
I do find his channel super relaxing but I can never fall asleep to it because I just end up laughing the whole time

This game is pretty cool, the low resolution graphics really give it character. My only complaint is that some things are too low resolution, to the point where you can either barely tell what they're supposed to be or they're missing essential pieces that make the object look good. The fridge is missing it's interior, for example.
