The Legend of Valorant’s Stupidest Cheating Scandal

  • With some big names coming from CS:GO, everyone expected T1 to be a top North American Valorant team.
    Instead, the team essentially folded because of the two words that their coach supposedly accidentally typed in all-chat - "help sewer."
    And they never heard the end of it.

    I watched this comeback half-wasted at 6:00 AM on a Sunday.
    We were partying on a Saturday night at my friend's. Tho I kept myself sober to watch the match which started 2:00 AM in our time. I had a bottle of brandy during the first 2 maps, so when FNC went 2-0, I already let myself fall asleep on the couch. After a while, I've been woken up by the sound of the crowd and casters as Loud goes 9-3 on Icebox. I was astounded that it went to Map 5 and accepted that FNC was about to lose. My head aches and fell asleep for a couple minutes but the casters are still going at it. So I wondered what was happening... I opened my eyes to an 11-6 score and Loud's eco were crashing! I immediately stood up and got a cup of coffee while witnessing history.

    Riot esports have always been a joke. They play it way too safe for advertisers, and it makes the experience bland because its too "squeaky clean". They forced a coach to sit out of a finals because he flipped off the other team, and they lost to a 3-2 comeback because the coach wasn't able to reset the teams mental.

    • @Tizzer123boya
      @Tizzer123boya ปีที่แล้ว +2

      That's fair enough. It's still a professional setting, and they get paid to do these as their jobs. Coaches fault, gotta deal with the consequences. The want esports t be considered an actual sport, then their has to be a sense of professionalism that comes with it

    • @Evan-xs8ts
      @Evan-xs8ts ปีที่แล้ว +6

      @Tizzer123boya thats just wrong. 1. It ruins competitive integrity to remove the coach, and 2. Shit talk is the blood of esports. Why do ufc and other fighting sports get to do it, and esports can't?

    • @Tizzer123boya
      @Tizzer123boya ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @Evan-xs8ts I think you are right in the sense that maybe they could have fined the team after the games as opposed to removing the coach for the match. I'd say smack talk is fine, it's good even. I think the extent to what they allow and disallow is because the target audiences is probably something like 13-30 for esport as opposed to something like combat sport. It's why stuff like football is so tight with their rules on swearing and gestures, even mouthing things that can be picked up on camera.

    • @johnshepard9743
      @johnshepard9743 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Evan-xs8ts There are teams sports that do not allow this behavior at all. Regardless. You flip of, or act disrespectful to teams, referees or anyone else while representing/working at a event. You are not allowed back for a certain amount of events. E.g. Rugby. This is not unusual, its is the norm in most sports. Repeated infractions can lead to bans for years. This has happened at world cups which only happen once every 4 years.

    Ppl think because valorant run on a kernel anticheat they think you can’t cheat at all on the game which just isn’t the case there’s a lot of undetectable things like auto hot key triggerbot and color soft aim basically making impossible to get banned by the anticheat since auto hot key is used for disabled people to re bind stuff ect it’s literally all comes down to a manual ban which rarely happens unless you’re vsing pros and being blatant funny enough theirs probably like 3-6 t2-t3 pros cheating as we speak in prob like every region don’t get me started bout gamechangers lmao don’t get me wrong if it’s not blatant cheating it’s ppl changing genders for the sheer fact that men are better at games simply because not only do they put in more time but their simply more competitive don’t get me wrong the theirs some really good gc players like mel ect but that tournament is just extremely exploited and all though it’s good to see females get opportunities to compete ppl just ruin it for all of them (don’t give me the non binary thing) I would say 99% of trans/ non binary people in that tournament are literally converting just to be able to play in that tournament against less skilled players for good money keenc really just exposed himself and alot of others without intentionally doing it
    Also alot of private cheats are undectected for the sheer fact that theirs little to no keys to the cheat being distributed so it’s harder for riot devs to narrow it down and detect said cheats
    I wouldn’t say valorant has more cheaters than csgo but valorant has significantly more closet cheaters than some might expect thing is you don’t get banned if you don’t get reported so majority make it look legit when in reality their probably esping and probably soft aiming on the lowest settings so it’s less sus spectating
    A lot of games are getting riddled with cheaters and my question is why??? In valorant lans/tournaments you’re gonna get caught I can understand in a game like Fortnite since their tournaments are ingame barely any LANs and have money involved
    But I don’t understand games like valorant csgo r6 since their either LANs or streamed games and don’t have money involved to the last grand finals and it’s basically impossible to go all the way to finals without getting detected wheiter that be by the tougher anticheat that LANs have or spectator feature where a few have gotten banned Through
    God forbid if you cheat in a game for a rank you need genuinely psychiatric evaluation some grass touching and parents in there life
    Kids don’t realise it’s only a rank beside ur name you’ll never make it anywhere with a rank nor would u get any statisfaction getting the rank whilst cheating
