I LOVE Jervis Bay. I used to take my nephews and niece away each summer (my mum and dad were their guardians at the time but they're all grown up now). I can't afford anything in Jervis Bay anymore so it will be car-camping on the side of the road if I ever go again. I was just talking to someone the other day about going down to Green Patch again. She'd never heard of it so might make a trip there soon, especially whilst the weather is just starting to warm up (end of August 2024). The locals put out a book a number of years ago (which I bought) that details all the beaches and bays around the area. It's worth a look!
Agree on Hyams beach but also the beach at Green Patch (need to pay a day fare to enter this National Park as it's managed by indigenous custodians so is not included in an annual park's pass).

Green Patch is lovely. We stay at Huskisson & have meals at the Huski Pub 😋-really good food & we’ve seen whales in the Bay from the pub deck. 🥰
Did you know that Jervis Bay is actually part of the ACT? It’s Canberra’s Port & has a big naval presence there - submarines etc.

They're all pretty similar and look their best with blue skies when the water goes all aqua. Hyams is a bit overrated...My favourite is Blenheim and Honeymoon on the peninsula. Its worth going into the national park to get a quiet swim.
I agree with you. They are all good. Shame we really only had one afternoon with the sun out
