What an incredibly well thought out setup! The modular functionality of the 110 really lends itself to these kinds of vehicle, very nice!
Andy set up is amazing I give him that just couldn’t be bothered to set all that up and pack it away but his attention to details is grate

Love the rig, but the only disadvantage I see is that if you get in a bad situation and you need to get to the back of the vehicle you can’t. The only way you can is getting out and opening the back door.

Thanks Rich. I’ve got a few vans and other vehicles I want to show as well that work for ppl. I didn’t think the mic would pick up the screaming as much but it’s the best I could get at a family camp. I think the next one will be a camper.

This is by far my favourite series on the youtube.
Its interesting to see how everyone approaches, and goes about things in a different way. And this has to be one of, if not my favourite looking set ups, especially with the older kit items.

Hey Norfolk Nomad - They are hurricane lanterns. Did have a Tilley but it was too much faffing around. Highly recommend Feuerhand ones with decent glass. Yes lot of dosh put into her. It's a constant evolution....

Love seeing all the different works of art I wouldn't be able to keep on the road.
If I ever do manage a bug out vehicle it will be some really odd and dodgy pile of crap that comes with the main advantage/feature known as CHEAP.
DustyPilgrim1 a van is the way to go then mate. If I didnt have the landy I’d have a transit van with off woad tyres.

Now that it a sweet set up, I had a look around it at Edale 2018 whilst buying some knives off Andy. Really like the rig....I got the idea for laycorn box usage from Andy. Very impressed with the whole thing...top man Andy well done mate! Great vid Rich thanks for sharing. Atb Andy.

Love it , very well made nothing there what shouldn't be there, great wind break ,going to copy that, when I was in army everything and his dog was canvas I need to rediscover the more modern materials and equipment but I have a laycorn box but my misses nicked it for here garden tackle

I’m getting into this I’ve got a Landry tray back just for pissing about but this is next level. puttin a few bob into defender totally changes it like you say just disappear round the locks in Scotland for a few days doing it wild is the way can’t beat this

Going to get my hands on one of those radiation hazard kits for the snatch, Though I believe the barracuda serves the same purpose with its foil back it certainly doesn't make it warm! That or I go foam mad and foam it all out like those up armored humvees. Cheers for the video and thanks to him for showing his setup!
Neshy 33 I don’t know if it will fit as the back of a snatch is bigger than a 110. There should have been black foam on the walls in it originally so see if you can get more of that.
Bug out vehicles UK Torn Apart self sufficiency. Yea it has two foam panels but only in the back for where the squaddies sit and only comes up to the head, ive seen the v8 ones fully covered in foam but the 2a seem to have cut down on if. anyways cheers for the input ill go for the foam option

I like the water container. Could you do a video on water containers. nato water jerry cans are bigger than I need and would love something with a tap that works well. the plastic self venting taps are too stiff to use one handed unless the container is strapped down. one of thoes lifesaver cans would be ideal foe me but just out of my budjet

Any vehicle is ok as bugout transport .The problem with the uk apart from some bits of Scotland there is nowhere to bugout to . Having gamed this I know it is hard to make a very to disappear unless you are hiding in sight ie just look like any other car ,van or truck but you need to use it to get supplies to a hide out then park it somewhere away from your layup.

Really impressive set up. Didn’t catch it but is there a significant performance difference between a civvy (edf) 110 and something like a Wolf? I’m guessing the Wolf would be a lot heavier maybe?
Major Clanger not much in it as the utility board ones come off the same special vehicles line as they are to a specific HD spec too.

Malcolm Rowe they are laycorn boxes. They are military stackable boxes. I’m not putting links to every item each person uses because it would take hours to find every item then put links in. There are usually some on eBay but google should ping a result too.

brillant. one comment those high-pressure air fixings are not 100% leak-proof for LPG
I've tested them and they are!! Unless you are talking about a really insignicicant amount due to the relevantly low pressure. Either way its best practice to shut down the bottle when not pulling gas through, which I do so it's never an issue but thanks for the comment and glad you enjoyed the walk round.
@@andyisherwood1027it's that LPG is a corrosive gas and the problem is that upon installation all will seem good as far as leeks go. but over time those parts as well as the hose will fail. i work in the gas industry i applaud what t you do. just want people to be safe. good on you though for isolating the bottle when not in use though

bob anderson the problem will be driving on public roads as they are built maintained and lit by a corporation so if you want to use them you will need to play the game and get licence road tax and insurance. The right to travel is of a day when there were no roads or cars and vans but even then you had to pay a toll to cross a bridge or someone’s land so nothings really changed except it’s all owned by one rather than thousands of land owners.

With full commercial liability I was turned over by the police and court whilst standing my ground from police assault seven years ago and had my commercial pcv license taken from me also and left with no means to earn a living through carpentry. Its been a Big learning curve as a pauper ever since, no more land-rover bus car etc etc... It was the making of me and I appreciate your channel cos I guess would have ventured again through out my COUNTRY. GBlives

Bug out vehicle in the UK? You're an island. We have individual states bigger than the UK. The only true "bug out" vehicle anyone in the UK should even consider should be a sea worthy vessel. In the USA we can travel thousands of miles, on land, in just about any direction. You can drive what? Six kilometers?
