    Niner fan here, the eagles did what they were supposed to do. It’s like sharks in water when blood is spilled & I respect it took us out our misery. Now that it’s been 3 weeks & post week Super Bowl loss for them. We were completely robbed of a possibly great game. I accepted the loss just didn’t respect how the fans made it seem like we wouldn’t of put up a good fight with Brock in at QB. We were on a roll just like y’all man…can’t wait for upcoming seasons game!

    As a raiders fan you should have included the raider’s disastrous season in the bad/ugly section. From an epic season thriller last year that gave us playoff berth to becoming the biggest choke job of a team with the QB situation becoming awkward and questionable is Definitely worth mentioning

    • @RioluLucario1994
      @RioluLucario1994 ปีที่แล้ว

      Tbh I don't blame the Raiders when it comes to being buried like that, as the rest of the AFC West had their own reasons for making headlines for better or worse. Kansas City won the Super Bowl. Denver hired Sean Payton. And the Chargers coming off that choke job, fired their Offensive Coordinator. And it didn't help that his replacement came straight from Dallas, and Dallas making headlines for Mike McCarthy taking over playcalling duties. I will agree that the Raiders handled the Derek Carr situation poorly. Had they not made it public that they intended to move on from Carr, they couldn't avoided the 40 Million in dead money that they have to pay him now. Its Jay Cutler 2.0, and Broncos fans have been warning the Raiders about Josh McDaniels

    To focus solely on the NFC South, I'd say the good was it was an unexpectedly competitive division, despite the Bucs and Saints underperforming and turning it into a 'bad' division. The bad was the fact the winning team had a losing record and was a first round exit in the playoffs. The ugly was the big step back the Buccaneers coaching staff took. It was a wild year.

  • @mr.mccrazy9893
    @mr.mccrazy9893 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    agree, officiating was bad this year, but how is it that it’s only bad when its in favor of the Chiefs? Burrow has a clear Intentional Grounding, Chiefs lose out on points in the SB off of an obvious catch and fumble, Chris Jones gets called for the weakest roughing call last year, and what have you? Maybe its fandom getting to me, but seriously, I’ve noticed people complaining about Chiefs getting ref calls, when we’ve had the same issues all year.

    Re: the NFC South with no team having a winning record, get used to that. The more divisions there are, the fewer teams in each division, and the more likely every team goes under .500. The NFL should go back to the 3 divisions (east, central, west), which puts 5 or 6 teams in each division. They keep adding wild card teams to the playoffs, so what difference does it make if there are fewer division winners?

    Good: the parity. Teams were winning games they should have had no shot in winning all year. I personally would have been better off flipping a coin for every prediction.
    Bad: Brady and Rodgers. Both legendary QBs, just two years removed from their championship game battle, went a mediocre 8-9 this year. Rodgers even lost a win or go home game in the final week of the regular season for the first time in his career.
    Ugly: the lack of scoring. Points were down across the league all season compared to previous years. Things got a little better in the playoffs, but that's mostly because the highest scoring teams in the league went.

  • @crayhack
    @crayhack ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I get the Jets wanting to check out the young qbs, but if they wanted to make the playoffs they really shoulda just let flacco play. He's not *good*, but at least he's not complete trash

    • @arthurcooperman3106
      @arthurcooperman3106 ปีที่แล้ว

      Wilson was supposed to be QB 1 so Flacco started week 1-3 when Zach was hurt and he didn’t do that bad. But when White took over in week 12 he was terrific for 3 straight games blowing out Chicago in two really close losses against Minnesota and Buffalo. But he got injured and they were thrown back into Wilson and Flacco and didn’t score a touchdown in their final three games.

Zappe played well in three of the games he played in, because they simplified the game plan for him, but he was exposed by the Chicago Bears, who finished with the WORST RECORD IN FOOTBALL, when he took over that one game for Mac.

      Love to see the Lions make the post season. It’d be great for the sport. I have no hate and tons of respect for the Chiefs, but I hope we see a different AFC team in the SB next year. “Dynasties” are boring unless you’re a fan of that team. I wanna see the Bills, Bengals, maybe the Jags or Dolphins improve and make a run. It’s good for the sport to see different teams make the postseason. Heck, if the Jets play their cards right we might see them be competitors soon. Of the NFC side, if the Lions get over the hump or the Bears improve?
      Love to see that as well.

    Bailey Zappe did not outplay Mac… the entire offensive scheme changed when Zappe came in to help the XFL WRs get open… they ran play action over 70% of the time with Zappe, about 10% with Mac. And losing McDaniels wasn’t a “loss” it was hiring Patricia as OC that was the worst decision that organization has ever made. And just to put it in perspective, Mac Jones still balled out… put up similar numbers as he did his rookie year with a worse offensive line, the worst OC of all time, didn’t play for a few games, and still no true WR1, not to mention, he put up fairly similar stats as Joe Burrow in his first two seasons (accounting for games missed) and Burrow has the best WR core in the NFL. The disrespect on Mac because of a “step back” is actually wild. Did he make mistakes, obviously, but he had 0 guidance. Everyone hypes up Josh Allen when all he’s proven is he’s athletic. That team is STACKED and they haven’t won anything. People hype up Lawerence, and he makes 10x the mistakes Mac makes, and has a WAYYY better offense. The Patriots are almost making playoffs every year during a rebuild… I don’t think people understand how crazy that is to do in the AFC East.

    What did you expect? To be honest I didn’t expect as a Lions fan for them to be on there, because one of the norms of main stream media is to slam and discredit any success or improvement by the Detroit Lions. Now, to be fair, the Lions have sucked for a long time, but even when we got improbable victories, it was always what is wrong with this other team that they lost to the lowly Detroit Lions. Never mind the fact that even though we started out one and six that we powered back and ended the season nine and eight. Then there was the NFL rig of a game between the Rams and Seahawks, because they wanted to eliminate the Lions chances of the playoffs so that we would roll over and feed their narrative of Aaron Rodgers going to the playoffs. Newsflash we didn’t with nothing to lose. We beat the Packers taking them out of the post season.

    We had 86 total injuries last season. It’s already hard enough to go back to back in this league, but if your entire team turns into a hospital, you’re very limited on what you can accomplish. Add in the fact that we had the hardest strength of schedule this season, and it was all a recipe for disaster. It’s ok tho, bad years are a part of football, just ask the Jets. We should rebound next season, I can definitely see us winning 10 games. That’s assuming we finally let Morris go, can’t stand the guy his defensive scheme is atrocious

    long overdue rebuild for the saints? we had a 12 win season and lost in the 2nd round of the playoffs just two years ago and then had a winning record the next year yea the team is old but there is no need for a full on rebuild all we need is a qb we have a top 10 rb top 10 oline top 10 defense and a top 15-20 receiving core if we had a qb we'd of won every single division game this year and plenty of others

    As a Steelers fan the only good thing about the NFL 2022 season is that the Steelers finished a 9-8 record above .500 which means Mike Tomlin will continue his non- loosing moving forward so we shall see what happens in the 2023 season come draft day free agency and trades too

    Brady still remained the luckiest player in history, even making the playoffs whilst having a losing record

    Really wish the bucs hadn't phoned in that week 18 game. They could have won easily and the "lol losing record" narrative wouldnt exist. No one will acknowledge that they basically chose to lose that last game.

    Nobody blamed the refs until the chiefs won ANOTHER SB. You forgot to include the Bills who was everyone sb favorites!

      Nobody is blaming the Cheifs , just the refs. I think they had a good chance to win regardless but everyone feels robed of exciting what ifs that should have been. I bet on the Cheifs lol so it was nice to see lmao
