When most people think of vacationing in sunny southern Spain, they immediately think of the 'Costa del Sol', Malaga or Nerja.
What they don't realize is that just a few kilometers down the coast lies a string of villages that are not only stunningly beautiful but are packed with fun things to do, are less crowded and much cheaper! In the westernmost area of the Costa Tropical -- in Andalucia -- lies the town of Almuñécar, the pretty fishing village of La Herradura, and the upscale Marina del Este.
Almuñécar is a town on Spain's south coast. It's known for beaches like Velilla, San Cristobal and Del Mar. By the coast, San Miguel Castle is a centuries-old Arab fort. The Rocks of San Cristobal extend offshore. Subtropical plants fill El Majuelo Botanical Park, by the remains of a Roman fish-salting factory. In the vaults of an old Roman palace, the Archaeological Museum has Roman pottery and Egyptian artifacts.
Along 19 km of coastline , Almuñécar has beaches for all tastes and audiences: urban beaches, coves between cliffs, gravel beaches, gray and black sand beaches, naturist beaches.
The beaches located next to the population centers of La Herradura, Almuñécar, Velilla and Taramay, are equipped with a wide range of accessibility, health and surveillance services. Some of them have been awarded the Blue Flag badge on numerous occasions.

I hope I didn't get misunderstood. I like the video, but I would like to see more. You know where the people go to interact with the local people not only the tourist part of it but not but the video was great. I have nothing bad to say about it I did like it though.

OK, you showed us the tourist part of the city that's for all the tourist hang out. Don't the Locos and the tourist go around the same area or the local side the road area send the tourist have another one. Do they interact the tourist and the locals that's what I want to see the local part where the local people go. They shop every day lives. You're not showing nothing. I see all the videos to see the sam.

All very familiar. This could have been Nerja, same little side streets, run-down facades, lots of overpriced restaurants spilling out onto the streets, with the same poor quality menus and 'free tapas' (which are an insult to proper tapas), traffic noise and pollution, 'se vende' or 'se alquila' signs on many premises, overpriced tourist gift shops, street sellers and beggars. Spain has sunk to low depths compared with what it was when I first started visiting there some decades ago.
