But back on the positive side, this video only scratched the surface of Canada's Nature, for example Revelstoke is only one of dozens of similar small towns in the 350,000 square miles of mountainous British Columbia and western Alberta, and Shannon Falls and Abraham Lake are just 2 of dozens of big waterfalls and big lakes that are very similar to them in setting and splendour. And 3/4 of Canada, The North, was not even covered here (yes, it is frozen 6-8-10 months of the year depending on the latitude) but for a quick 30 minute long introduction, this video was very accurate and extremely good, in the opinion of my 65 years as a Western Canadian.

To see the beauty of Canada, one has to go on a road trip across Canada driving. The hills and the valleys the lakes and mountains is spectacular. In my opinion, Canada’s most beautiful province is British Colombia. I made two road trips. The first one was t Eastern Canada and then to Western Canada driving through the Rocky Mountains. @treseoreilly1953. actually no. The beaver has earned it’s rightful spot. You see, without the beaver and those water ponds, there would be no moose. The moose need those ponds for the weeds that grow in them to nourish themselves. They contain sodium that is essential for their growth..and that is just one benefit of having the beaver around. They were almost hunted to extinction at one point, their pelts coveted to make hats in the UK a long time ago. We are so lucky that didn’t happen, 🇨🇦 imagine all the other animals dependent on what beavers do dying too. The landscape you see today would be very different in some places too.

Once in an area, would be best to show all related content. - missing Saskatchewan, Manitoba and New Brunswick (all with stunning scenery). - covering Nova Scotia and missing the Cabot Trail is a faux pas. -Canada is as far north to south as it is west to east. The arctic is spectacular. Would be nice to show Baffin Island (world’s 5th largest island which also has the highest vertical drop in the world, Mount Thor) or show an arctic community. -none of this is meant as criticism. I live in Canada (SW Ontario) and have visited various parts of it other than SW Ontario. The videography I saw on this documentary was great, but I would have liked to have the various places identified. Since Canada is so large, and so diverse, I doubt many of us, even Canadians, could identify these places just with the quick views we are given. For instance, I could identify the CN Tower in Toronto, but Toronto is a big city and there are many other parts of it. I could guess at a couple of other places, but I wasn't sure. Just saying.

Turquoise lakes known as pristine glacial run off from mountain tops where you can still drink the water from those run offs if you feel inclined to do so.
You missed our capital city , Victoria on Vancouver Island a ferry ride from the mainland, also the Gulf Islands far more beautiful than Vancouver I was shocked when I saw how much it has transformed and not for the better.

Turquoise lakes known as pristine glacial run off from mountain tops where you can still drink the water from those run offs if you feel inclined to do so.
You missed our capital city , Victoria on Vancouver Island a ferry ride from the mainland, also the Gulf Islands far more beautiful than Vancouver I was shocked when I saw how much it has transformed and not for the better.
