NASCAR Heat (PC/PS1) Soundtrack - Main Menu Theme (PS1 Version)

- There's a lack of clean versions of this music track exclusively heard in the PlayStation 1 version of this game on TH-cam, so I thought I would be the first to upload it here since I bought a copy of it in the autumn of 2018 (last year). This theme is the reason why I decided to buy it after many years of playing the PC version of it and a few years after I played the PlayStation 2 version of its updated version called NASCAR Heat 2002. Despite this version being co-developed by a Swedish video game developer named DICE Entertainment (the company that worked on Rallisport Challenge and Midtown Madness 3), it is a North American exclusive (sorry non-NA NASCAR fans). Nevertheless, enjoy!

Original music made specifically for a NASCAR game shouldn't sound this atmospheric and amazing, AND YET!

I still have my copy of this game for my PlayStation, and I play it from time to time.
Cool! I have both the PC and PlayStation 1 versions, and it's still one of the best NASCAR video games to this day. The PC version of NASCAR Heat was one of the first NASCAR video games of my childhood.

You're really welcome! Despite being co-developed in Stockholm, Sweden by DICE Entertainment, it oddly is North America exclusive, probably because NASCAR isn't as popular in other continents. It's like European rally racing not being as popular in North America.

Despite the fact that you claim that this is a clean version, at 0:05 seconds and at 0:21-0:23 seconds of the track i hear the toggle through the menu sound effect. I noticed this because I wanted to make my own extension of this track and i could hear those sounds in those parts of the music while in the other parts that sound doesn't come up.
That sound effect is actually implemented into the music itself, even if I mute all the menu sounds (separate from this music) and don't navigate away from the audio options screen in the PlayStation 1 version. By "clean version," I meant music that is in clear quality unlike captures of it used with cameras or poor quality capture card audio settings. It sounds like DICE Entertainment reused that sound effect as a percussion sound.

Why this game never released in Sweden while Swedish developers made this
It seems that it was never released over there since the NASCAR motorsport wasn't very popular in the continent of Europe, although several European TV broadcasts of American NASCAR events were actually a thing back in the day. Particularly, this NASCAR video game would have been successful in the United Kingdom as well.
