AND THEN YOU TALKED ABOUT THE ROCK EM SOCK EM TRANSFORMERS AND MY SOUL ALMOST LEFT MY BODY. I spent hours upon hours playing the mobile tie in game, and I collected the toys (til they started breaking, but DANG they were fun) I'm subbing solely because of the nostalgia trip you just took me on.
Great video! The reason Windblade and Arcee Furai models look like that is because Flame Toys hired an Ero/H-artist for the designs, and the designs were dictated by the fans.
7:22 Heyooo! This battle masters line was part of a Transformers boxing game that was shut down a long time ago. This is why it was made by Hasbro Gaming
It defies the main gimmick. The move is so bold that it's almost admirable yet so stupid that it leaves me dumbfounded every time I try to fathom the thought process.
I can tell you the exact thought process to hopefully fathom the bold move. They either want to make cool designs or 100% accurate designs, and don’t want to be limited by the alt-mode. Some designs literally cannot physically happen because of the alt-mode. So they sacrifice an alt-mode to give us a damn good figure. I get it, Transformers are meant to transform. But in a market where we already have countless toys that *do* transform, having just a few that don’t but give as a *really* awesome design that’s not bound by physical limitations, I think is a very good reason to do it. Some of us like collecting for the love of the character designs, not the gimmick of transformation.
@CesarGameBoy. I like collecting to see how they achieve good character and vehicle design in one toy, but I see now that there's more of a personal preference aspect that I hadn't considered until now.
The only RPM toy that interests me is the Sideswipe doing his stabbing pose. I'm personally a Transformers purist, so I automatically filter this kind of stuff. You know It's more impressive if something that doesn't look like it could transform, transforms tbh. On a sidenote there is a 3P of IDW Drift and Optimus Prime based on Flametoys aesthetic.
I’ve always believed this. The only reason a Transformer figure shouldn’t Transform, is if it’s meant to be 100% accurate to the design it’s based off. Apologies for the purists, but some designs literally can’t be accurate because of their alt-mode. Transformers Prime has abysmally obvious mass-shifting, but every design in that show slaps, and I want to keep that design on my shelf without having to deal with a butchered version of it. I have a non-transforming G1 cartoon-accurate Soundwave, and so far it’s my favorite toy in the collection. It looks exactly like Soundwave from the show. And personally, I’d rather have a 100% accurate toy than a semi-accurate toy because of an alt-mode I’m probably never gonna play with anyways. There are few exceptions of course. Lots of Studio Series toys look phenomenal, but some still fumble the bag because the alt-mode just *has* to be accurate.
There was a 3DS Game released based on the Stealth Mode series! Transformers: Dark of The Moon - Stealth Mode Edition. I got it 1 time and I was seriously upset that I couldn't transform into Robot Mode.
I am sorry really interesting video but more importantly WHAT GAME IS THAT BACKROUND VIDEO FROM?! I need that game so please I just want to play as a tank and make things go boom
I love Flame Toy's stuff. Their Lio Convoy kit comes with a cape. Like an actual velvet cape with a wire inside so you can pose the cape like it bellowing in the wind. Flame Toys kits are next level. Though I do wanna get some of those yolo park TFOne figures.
Revoltechs Transformers were goated. The G1 releases based on the dreamwave comics design were cool, albeit the mold were rather gummy in the details. The sexiest one is no doubt the DOTM Optimus. Probably one of the best bayverse Optimus figure to date.
Very cool video. I did want to mention that to my knowledge, at least the ones I have, another difference between RPMs and Speed Stars, is that some of the Speed Stars are made with Die-Cast metal, so that could be why they have less paint on the bottom, since now they had to fully paint the top of the vehicle.
As a fallout fan i hate Threezero with a passion because they make good power armor figures but they go for hundreds if not thousands, and they're literally the ONLY company making official possible power armor figures
I actually got the Megatron figure from Blokee's Classic Class and the toy is actually very nice to have in your room as a collection item. The plastic is nice but the torso plates had a bit of a gap when the figure was finished
Looking back on RPM, I had an idea for a Unicron playset similar to the Devastator one, where you have an RPM Hot Rod zipping through Unicron's innards to get the Matrix, then launch out of his eye.
I've recently gotten into collecting Blokees Transformers, and to me they're the perfect toys for play. I would gladly sacrifice the ability to transform if it means having a sturdy action figure to play with 🙏
I have the non-stylized Flame Toys G1 Optimus kit from when they were first starting the line and I absolutely love it. Good quality plastic overall and the gloss finish on the red and blue parts looks great. Great to pose on the shelf with my other non-Gundam plamo kits.
Yeah Blokee's has been poppin off. They put out a BUNCH of Ultraman and Kamen Rider and I am all for that. I hope they get into other Transformers I'd love a Blokee's RID2002 Scourge.

The Dino bot transformers parts was re used for Ironman figures in the line too.

i haven’t watched the full video yet, but in my opinion, the transformer’s r.e.d is a unique way of making transformers toys, unique as i say even though there’s multiple brands that do the same, but on my opinion, these kind of transformers bring us more to the action figure side of toys, more than the transforming, which is not necessarily a good thing for some people, but in my opinion i’d very cool
