I saw Chappelle on Vice Grip Garage with Derick and he was masterful. Glad to see y'all doing this project. Freiburger needs to drop a 4-post lift at Steves shop/
No. Steve has PLENTY of money to be able to do that himself if he wants to. I think very early in the RG show Fryburger said that Steve owns all those fields and grows grapes for either his own or other vineyards in Commiefornia.
7 million subscribers? Unreal. It is just a gift to me because at almost 80 years old my wrenching days are over, but this is so cool to watch. Back in the 1960s, there were very few after-market parts like there is today. Fabrication was the limiting factor. The three guys all have different knowledge and skills. They are my heroes. Thanks guys.
I love to see they still have the Cougar. For those who have filled Roadkill Garage, that was their first vehicle on the channel. I'd really like to see an update as to how far she's come over the years.
I really dig that that sweet old wagon didn't have to get butchered for the swap. What I thought was sort of a dumb idea is now FREAKIN AWESOME. I hope it runs a 9.9
More Dave & Dave! An improved mixture of affordability:longevity. It's nice to see projects that run more than a week - anyone can turn $5000 into a running car for a week
Oh, there's a hole in the fork blade. That's how the chain is pinned with a screwdriver. I thought it was just on the edge of the blade, and was wondering how it wasn't falling off the edge.
You need to go over all of those weird vine lines on the paint with a pinstripe brush. Then paint buff up the old paint and clear the whole thing. It is meant to be.
@@codymoe4986 not that it wasn't an easy install or that it wasn't good enough. Because it's a jeep and they could have used a Trackhawk transfer case and had all wheel drive. SMH
There's a guy who built a RWD full size Cherokee (basically the 2 door Wagoneer) with a turbo'ed new gen Hemi, I think he's shooting for single digit 1/4 mile passes...
The weight is listed as 4500 pounds. If that was an early Buick 350 it could have been aluminum block and heads. Along with missing part of the interior, the spare tire, along with other missing pieces 4000 is possible.
There was never an aluminum block Buick 350. You might be thinking of the unrelated early Buick 215 that was aluminum, but that's not at all what this Jeep had.
@@upscaleshackcorrect. the 350 was all iron. just the intake manifold alone is heavy AF. I scored a 4 barrel one off a Buick car at the Portland swap meet once and had to hand carry it back to my car over 1/2 mile in the rain. good times.
I wish someone would make another Jerrari...its a Ferrari V-12 stuck in a Wagoneer...I remember reading about it in the mags back in the day...I would have kept the 4 wheel drive but I know he wants to drag it.
Nice to see Chappelle back on some episodes, hope he becomes a regular again!👍🇨🇦
I love it when Dave is part of a build. The guy is a machine
Bring back dirt every day

It would ruin the home garage feel of this show
I always assumed they don't have a hoist because the idea of RKG is that it's a weekend warrior doable job.
@@overyonderjustapiece I've seen Dulcich branded grapes in my local grocery store. I live 25 miles East of Atlanta.
He doesn't own them, his family does.
so glad Dave is back
Glad you guys got the band back together

Hopefully still has the Cleveland in it too.
We need some new Roadkill and Roadkill Garage episodes
That is going to be one unique hot rod for the track. Thanks for including me in the build.
Had a 1978 Cherokee and have always wanted you to actually do/finish this!
This is one of my favorite projects of yours ! Please show us more
Dave is everywhere! Love it!
Great to see Chapelle back on the episodes!
Welcome to easiest engine swap motor mount episode ever.
That would have made my day too.
The car gods were smiling on this build. Everything just fell in to place like almost never happens. Better get a lotto ticket while you're at it.

Thank you guys!!
I LOVE IT!!! A TOTALLY AWSOME BUILD!!!! THANK YOU TO ALL THE BRANDS AND PRODUCTS USED IN THIS SWAP!!!!
Still the best car show on TH-cam.
That hood ornament is LIT!
Always fun to see a ballistic brick that has no business goin' fast. lol
Awesome idea and build. Badazz that the trans tunnel is removable, makes the job easier!
I liked Dave's comment . It's like catching a sword fish when they yanked the engine , which was true .

I am. Here. Because. I. Owned. A. Jeep wagoneer …. Great unit !!!
My dad had a 76 white Grand Wagoner. Very nice ride.
Pretty sweet ride. Love the Jeep Cherokee. Cant wait to see it finished.
Need to see more of the Dragoneer
I had a 1988 Jeep Grand Wagoneer with the smooth running AMC 5.9-liter or 360 cubic-inch V-8. Fond memories back then.😊
AMC made a helluva good motor...
Pulled alot of Suburban's hung up on there frames with my 401 Wagoner!
Awesome, I can't wait till it's finished
THANK YOU, DAVE, DAVID AND STEVE,!!!!
Such a blessing when things fall into place.
We owned a cherokee cheif and I reget selling it all the time. You go guys, love the idea.
Here for Dave....
This hurts my heart so much. I love Wagoneers and the color orange.
You guys made that look WAyyyyy to Easy! Very cool Dragoneer!
Wow, another great job. This baby is going to be fun.
Can't wait to see it completed
When?
Best choice for the wheels&tires.
THANK YOU, SUMMIT RACING!!!!
My three favorite Musketeers👌😁
Miss my 1969 Wagoneer that looked just like Dave's green one pictured here... that's one vehicle I really wish I hadn't sold.
Dude that thing needs an 88 mm Chinese war whistle, badly..
This is a AWESOME BUILD !!!!!
Going smooth. Too smooth.
More Dave please!
God I wish I could see more of it
Love seeing Dave Shapple back ❤
Amazing. I really like this build
Awesome. Wish I could build cool cars like you guys
I love the mid 50's Cadillac hood ornament. I like the fact that they used Buick engines and I have to wonder if anyone swapped in a 430 or 455 Buick.
I'm not stoked on this. I'm stoked ABOUT this.
Make Chappell a permanent host!
His TH-cam channel is doing really well, don’t know if he’d accept a host position after they canned DED when he was co-hosting with Fred
You guys rule Awesome episode!
Cool build!
Gonna be a cool truck!!
Well. They fit real well.
You should find a pinstripe guy and have him paint the vines back on the Jeep
I'm glad your back. I wasn't going to pay a subscription, this is nice ,thanks
Fun project
U need to bring the Wagon to Classic Car Week 👍
it's really great when a few mates come together and put in better parts for an old girl .
The rest we need the rest of this build
Looking good 👍👍

"Dulcitch will be that guy": shoutout to Dulcitch, yo!
Fax
Creativity love it.
😊 I love it I don't even know where to begin happy and I love it old school and new school
I miss my 75 Wagoneer after watching this
Yeah I have days like that. Not the greatest days but it happens
Enjoyed chapelle when he was on dirt everyday

If any project needed a Hellcat motor this did.
Because a 1000 hp LS, isn't good enough??
P.S. That motor literally leapt into the engine bay and tucked itself in...I'd say they made a good choice.

The no fab engine swap. Mint!
I rarely get to watch rkg anymore, I didn't switch or had trouble switching to the new platform.
My next door neighbour had one that looked just like that one.But it was an Iternational,Travel All.
I changed the master cylinder in my s10 5.3 swap project. Had to shorten my pushrod a little bit.
Would be kinda cool to adapt a Trailblazer all wheel drive set up in the Jeep to go Trackhawk hunting with it.
Having a Chappelle is key.
Glad to see the cougar
The whole reason the project exists is because Wagoneer has an A and a G together in its name. So Freiberger
The bad dragoneer
I'm never this early. Strange.

Any dream can happen when all your parts are sponsored....... And free.
Quit wasting your time, whining on TH-cam, and use it to make money for new parts...
I had a 1966 and it had the ole Vigilante 327 AMC V8
Don't do an image search for it 💜
Wha?
I have a 70 , wish I could have those stripped out parts
I love david but in this he seems more like a host than anything this time more than before
$1k in Jeep, $10k in labor, $20k in parts and you can have priceless fun all the time!
The cool thing is it can go back to 4x4 easily.
Had a j20 pickup that was pretty sweet

rock crawler would be awesome
Lets see a follow up episode next...
Love it..😄
Put A Wippel intake on it😎
