@@Turbo_Toad unfortunately there's not a lot I can do. We split up in 2015 and I don't have access to the masters anymore, unfortunately we only ever got one song on Spotify and that was our last "Somnium" before we broke up. Sorry about that!
@@Guy61440 Hey dude, I'm in a band called Forager, can check our latest song out called 'The Worst Minute of My Life' and some new material releasing very soon!
listen to this album when it first dropped. years later coming back to it and its still amazes me. this is the music the metal and djent following should be sharing with others. most definatly will show others not in the following theres more to metal then just some heavy tones and a guy "screaming" into a mic.
I never knew i could headbang to myself! (yes, my real name is Orion. these guys do me proud by allowing me to headbang to a band with my own name) \m/o (>o
I just stumbled on to this song and its freakin sweet. I love it when a band can make a song thats awesome and doesnt have vocals. It takes a good band to do that.
We never really got around to it I suppose, but we have just put a new video showing a teaser sample for the new album we're writing! We'll make sure to release lyric videos / music videos / playthroughs on there more often though, so thank you.
@AlexHuzar Have to say I hadn't heard of Djent til very recently but you guys and Modern Day Babylon are by far my favorites. The lack of screaming and progressive nature definitely play a part in that. Keep up the awesome work, and I take it Metallica influenced the naming?;)
This song is beautiful and perfect right up until the very end, which kind of ruins the experience if you ask me, which is a shame because there is some phenomenal stuff here. Either way, I absolutely love this track.
dudes this shit is badass mayne!!! fr fr 🔥🤘 metal without vocals is stellar as fuck...and an intellect awareness for other forms of cool ass expressions!! keep this shit up!!! 👊🔥🕉
seonethree History died with metallica when Orion died that's about all i can say. But they still do got some decent music passed Orion but nowhere near as good with Orion
We will be doing soon, just concentrating on the new album at the moment though! We're trying to think of ideas as well, but we'll probably start off with some playthrough videos.
@metalmaniac243 Wow I never really fit the two together but I can definitely see what you mean! I wouldn't say he's influenced me or the others but maybe there was a slight little nod to him at some point! ;)
The song was amazing up until 2:03, after that it kinda went downhill for me :/ I know there are many of you who love the whole song, but the melodic 2 minutes at the beginning was probably the one part that I truly adore.
ur ptry kwl guy. Cheers man! Glad you like this song, be sure to check us out on the book of faces and keep up to date with new jazz that's going down!
@WaitMaggotSurface @WaitMaggotSurface Thanks bro! Well next year, should be trying some different stuff out and I hope it sounds good to you. Even though James Hetfield has a large influence on my playing style, I would say no, Metallica did not inspire the name! Thanks again, man xox
well most of the time the main "idea" creator is guitarist who finds fellow musicians, they start to play together and create songs right? and when there is allready some material ready they start to think about whether they need vocals or not in this case guys most likely decided that they dont even need vocals..
after all these years, still a banger
this song is the kind of song i can just sit back to and relax and think about life and stuff..amazing stuff
Love it when I stumble upon these gems...absolutely beautiful.
Hell man, this takes me back to my highschool days...
yeah bro sad gamer noices
Same. Used to lay around listening to this all the time in high school. Still moves me the same when I come back every few years
I'm the rhythm guitarist of this band, thanks so much for posting this around! :)

what tuning is this in bro?
Ay man not sure if you check this anymore. Any chance you could get this ep back up on Spotify?

There is beauty in simplicity! That intro is simply transcendent!
Literally took me out of this world, to Vega.

Mike Trombley the screaming is shit.... But the instrumentals are fucking amazing
@@invertedv12powerhouse77 you're shit
The drums are so beautiful. Words can't describe it. This song is a masterpiece.
Its not an ordinary music if you get goosebumps while listening to it at the very first time
not goosebumps, tears bro, tears, especially with that intro.
that intro makes my eyes wanna cry for no reason just by staring into the blue sky...
Simply beautiful. :) Theese guys surely rocks!
That intro
12 years….I miss it. I miss it all.
i totally agree, who composed this had a beautiful mind and a bit dreamer

Ayy, same here bro.
Still so great now as much as it was 9 years ago
i am so glad i found this band. really great sounds.
Some of the most spine-chilling progressive metal I've ever heard. Thanks for posting.
I just stumbled on to this song and its freakin sweet. I love it when a band can make a song thats awesome and doesnt have vocals. It takes a good band to do that.
I prefer this without lyrics to be honest.Sounds so good on its own:)
that ending portion is just amazing
IanW820 the whole song is a masterpeice

5:22 feat Animals as leader?
This song is my life-sustaining blend of oxygen and nitrogen I must breathe
@AlexHuzar tnx, keep up the good work :) and greetings from Latvia.
@duardoCOB I guess the rhythm could be inspired from AAL, but that just may be a coincidence :p
Why didn't you guys post it yourselves so it would be on your own channel.
fucking beautiful.
Haha, true. I'm personally a big fan of melodic metal, so when it made the transition from melodic to djenty, I was kinda like "gaahhh noooooooo!!!"
Temazoo
THESE GUYS SHOULD GO FUCKING BIG

I passed out whilst listening to this song, only to find myself laying in a pool of my own sexual secretions!
Oh my :))))
why is this not on itunes?!?
@WaitMaggotSurface um non... not Metallic. Do you know what Orion is?
do you know other similar musics ?
Someone’s knows how can I found it in Spotify?
@KiloDreams, are you serious? That sounds nothing like The Contortionist's melody.
I'm planning on recording some vocals over this. Have you got a mic? If so, want to grab my email and we'll do a collab for fun?
Is there anywhere I can buy this song?
check their webpage
Band camp i just came here so i could share it

just sayin'. You're fucking amazing.
Why are so many instrumental djent bands? is it really that hard to find vocalists?
Most of the time music like this is better without any singing I think
I think that the sound of the music is more powerful than singing
+Domonick Matheson maybe it's because you cannot find a decent singer?
there wouldn't be so many of them if there weren't clearly so many fans of metal/djent bands without vocalists. js.
well most of the time the main "idea" creator is guitarist who finds fellow musicians, they start to play together and create songs right? and when there is allready some material ready they start to think about whether they need vocals or not in this case guys most likely decided that they dont even need vocals..
You should of posted it yourselves.
