[Because of Love 今生有你] Tan Jing is a single mother whose son has natural heart disease. In order to save up for her son's surgery, she leads a thrifty life. However, she has no complaints and lives life positively, raising her son Sun Ping to be obedient and sensible.
Nie Yu Sheng is a heart surgeon who is working on funding a surgery project that helps children with heart disease. He picks Sun Ping as his first patient. During the treatment, he finds out that Sun Ping's mother is Yan Jing, his lover seven years ago. He is attracted by Tan Jing's calm and determined aura, and Sun Ping's adorableness and sensibility. Time allows both of them to mature. Eventually, Sun Ping's recovers from his illness and Tan Jing develops her own career; while Nie Yu Sheng's project is also successfully established. Tan Jing and Nie Yu Sheng finally achieve happiness together.

This is so heartbreaking. Yunsheng is madly in love with her to the point that his trauma caused him to have amnesia and he is stuck in the place where he was happy and carefree…a place that didn’t hurt him at all. He’s trying to protect himself by being stuck in that past 😭😭😭😭 This is so sad and heartbreaking

Wallace Chung is a genius actor! His acting is so believable. He never ceases to amaze me. I have now seen him in several genres and his portrayal of a number of different characters is brilliant. What is there not to like about him. He is an absolute sweetheart. Greetings from a Polish Australian.
I couldn't have agreed one of the few Chinese actors who can act...and really act...his emotional scenes..his angst and of course his kissing and romantic scenes never disappoint...sigh...his kisses ..

I agree with you. I like all his drama.
100% agree with you. I first saw him in "The Sword and the Brocade" and was very impressed by his acting skills. Even though he was dubbed in that drama, he still carried off the expressions very well. He truly can play any part and make it believable. And it goes beyond just looks, although he is very good looking. This is unlike some of his contemporaries who were clearly cast in dramas for their looks. And are lacking in acting ability.
When the pain is too much to bear, the brain will just shut off or in the case of Dr. Nie, his brain chose to go back on the days he was happy. I cried for the whole duration of this episode.

She’s not happy at all and can’t get out of the shell of unhappiness continuing to dwell on the past. The kid has grown up and needs a father figure in his life that she can’t provide. Her fake husband has done his use by date as he can’t provide to her what she needs - to accept the Doctor’s love unconditionally.
It's like roller coaster ride of emotions .. great script and directed
Though it's sad what happened to Nie I enjoyed seeing him and Tan' jing together going back in time. Tan'jing has so much love for Nie but she's also stuck in time and need to move forward. I know it may sound easy to a person looking from the outside in. I just hope there's a good ending to all this. But so far so good. 🤗👪✨👍
Yes writer. Take him back to the beginning. Let his father know how much he loves Tan and he separated them. She is shocked now but will understand herself better moving forward. Look how long he bought her ring. Nice story. It has everything in it.

Episode 22 is too touching for me because of Dr.Nie’s love & affection to his true love.
Its so heartbreaking. Yusheng love her so much to the point that he became broken once she left him. Its so sad. Because of his Dad, he lost his love and suffered. It was so sad that the love is still there but they are not happy anymore. It is true that too much love will kill you.
that's right, thinking the same and brought me memories of my abusive ex. had i loved him so much, i could have died already from his abusive behaviour. It's good to save some love for yourself at all times😊

Sometimes forgetness is the best solution
Wallace Chung a great actor another role he portrays so well that his leading lady cannot help but act well accordingly but Wallace Chung upgrades performance of his co star. Actresses are lucky to be paired/ act with him. in this episode Dr Nies father acting is so heartwarming . Scenes between father and son was directed so well showed selfless love of father for son .Congratulations script writer and director and of course camera men. Background music is so effective very well modulated doesnt disturb the scene s.

I love this series but I'm having mixed feelings about Dr. Nie's regression. At times it seems very childish to me. I want to see the next episode to see how it progresses.
I think there's a lot of components to his illness not just the relationship issues. A lot has to do with his domineering father I believe. He doesn't seem to be able to stand up to either ex nor the Dad. Very sad.
