[Because of Love 今生有你] Tan Jing is a single mother whose son has natural heart disease. In order to save up for her son's surgery, she leads a thrifty life. However, she has no complaints and lives life positively, raising her son Sun Ping to be obedient and sensible.
Nie Yu Sheng is a heart surgeon who is working on funding a surgery project that helps children with heart disease. He picks Sun Ping as his first patient. During the treatment, he finds out that Sun Ping's mother is Yan Jing, his lover seven years ago. He is attracted by Tan Jing's calm and determined aura, and Sun Ping's adorableness and sensibility. Time allows both of them to mature. Eventually, Sun Ping's recovers from his illness and Tan Jing develops her own career; while Nie Yu Sheng's project is also successfully established. Tan Jing and Nie Yu Sheng finally achieve happiness together.

I think papa jun was good dad. His performance in this series was excellent. Dont forget pingping and his mother could not survive without him in the beginning. Kudos to jun.
Was an adult and did not have to take council from another man, that was unsavory anyway. She was not mature enough.
Yes they could have survived without him if she would have just told her husband what happened to her because of his father's actions towards her. She was bitter because she was paid to leave. She had a choice to just stick by her husband and stay with each other and change things.
@@thejacquelinecarter Jun was Tan's father apprentice, he was like an extended family member to Tan. She could not stay with her husband and give her son Nie family name. Nie was the reason her father died, her family's enemy. Her choice was only to give the son her own surname, Tan, but it was not a wise option. Asking Sun was the best, they were co-parenting Ping, never romantically involved.
Yes I thought the same about him and did not want to see him go I had hoped he’d find him ❤ too… and would have been able to move on in life.. 😢😢😢 great acting skills 🎭 would like to see him in other films.
When Papa Jun was murdered, I cried. He truly loved Tan and Pingping. My love to all step parents and parents who adopt. Your love blesses the child for the rest of his or her life. Love to you all from the United States of America.
Verrry nicely put John Church, I agree, this IS the best show/series I have ever watched, it has so many emotions to it, sad, funny, etc.. This little Pingping is the best little actor, kudos to him for his age and superb acting, he has a bright future ahead of him. I have watched this series over 100 times now and still watching, it's my go to show when I am looking for some good vibes, although sad sometimes & a tear jerker it still is the best on the tube. Jun was loyal to the end. He was a good friend and a great step-father. He may have had his issues, but he always tried to make up for it.
I love the attitude of Vickey..she is beautiful smart and kind.
I was surprised that the script killed off Papa Sun in episode 28. He never got a closure. He had a hard life throughout and didn't have his happy ending. He had been admirable while working odd jobs to support the family. Sad.
From uncovering the plot, Dr Nie immediate focus is his best friend's happiness. Vicky knew in advance that Mark hasn't completely told her all his secrets, but she trust his love for her. Having read the comments, I thought I wouldn't get a shock when it happened to Sun.. TanJing is grieving like she's still in shock - they've been through so much together he's like a brother in her time of need, and pillar of support for her.
Su Jun deserve better fate, he should get woman that loves him back and live happily after. Not died for a woman that he is dedicated for his whole life but didn't reciprocate him :((
Sun Jun is a great character ... someone to be trusted inspite of his many odds
I wanted Sun Jun to live and see the people responsible for his Master's death brought to justice. I wanted him and Tan Jing to have closure and Pingping to continue to be the reason for Sun Jun to try to have a better life. I am glad Tan Jing accepted Dr. Nie's help with her sorrow.
When I first saw Sun Zhijun in this show, he and his voice seemed familiar, but I couldn't recall in which show I saw him earlier. At 15th episode, I recollected that he played 'Si Ming - the fortune writer god' in 'Eternal Love of Dream', which was the first Chinese show I saw last year. He's such a good actor, as both the characters I saw him into, were completely opposite. Kudos to this talented guy. 👏👏👏👏👏

Yes indeed, he was in both Eternal Love and Eternal Love of Dream as Si Ming. And being a voice over a for as well, he dubs his own dreams. Love that distinct voice of his that is instantly recognizable.
Sheng is so greedy that he wants Dongyan company for himself alone.
I’m full of respect to Jun for the his love for Ping ping and his mom. His untimely death was Shengs plot as well .
Love the whole episodes.

I must say, the young Tanjin is more realistic, she looks more sad, not cold and accusing look at all time like the senior one... now that we reached almost at the end of this drama, I want to appreciate the young FL & ML and SJ, the Young TJ has done a brilliant acting, very beautiful smile so is the young ML... but of course, our ML {Wallace} always stand way up in the scale..!

This was a sad episode. Jun was so caring to Jing and Ping. ☹
Su jin knows Sheng plotting to control Nie's company yet she marry Sheng but later she leave him.
When she went to office to send lunch to Sheng and she overheard Dr Nie and Sheng conversation.
I have not watched the previous episodes, but I think she still married him to pursue him not to destroy her best friend (Dr. Nie) company. Regardless, she married Sheng although she really wanted Dr. Nie's heart when they dated. Dr. Nie couldn't love her as she wanted so she settled for friends so maybe she went through with the marriage to convince her husband (Sheng) to not plot anything against Dr. Nie.
Decisions at doorways. Doors opening. Doors closing. Doors left open.
Jun wasn't bad. He was one of the Broken People. Broken by the System.
Vicky - the most beautiful bride I've seen on cdramas. A meaningful wedding.
Jing couldn't abandon Sun completely, to be with Nie.
That's why he was killed.
This was the only way for
her to be happy, without hurting Sun
i'm not emotionless, but deep down i wanted jun to now die. as now he had no role to play. i deeply acknowledge the love and support he gave through out to the child(ping ping) and tan but now it was time for him to say a good bye. the younger version of his was so pretty also he used to worship tan's parents(that moment he took my heart).
I agree, as a character he had run his course. It makes sense to write him off that way. He was a tragic character from beginning to end. That said, the actor is so great that he gave life to Jun. I wish I could see him grow old and get better.

TJ and Mark are perfect couple. Both are cold and scheming and not remorseful and blame others for any misfortune.
I'm so in love with Mark from the first minute I saw him. Hot, charming, witty... And I did see that darkness inside of him.

I L O V E D this series from beginning to end, but, one question that haunts me after watching it at least 50 times, oh yeah I did and still gonna watch it again and again, it's the best yet. My question IS does ANYONE know or even guess WHO IT WAS that was trying to FRAME or get this beautiful Dr. Nie in trouble with the Hospital?? Please tell if you do or imagine as I can't figure it out!!! I was heartbroken to watch him go through that, matter of fact this whole series broke my heart, man all I did was friggin cry through most of it, oh only to have someone in your life with such admiration and love for you is or would be heaven in itself, :o) A girl can dream can't she?? I am sooo happy he won an award for this show, HE deserved it wholeheartedly, I must say everyone in this series played their part extraordinarily, I don't know how they do it but, KEEP IT UP please!!

TJ never showed any remorse for what she did to NY. She always showed cold and righteous altitude to NY. She didn’t love NY. It was just sympathy. Her love is SJ. She even believe NY may behind his murder.

I knew at episode 23 or 4 he was his brother. He mentioned early on how he saw his bro. was 3 years older than him thinking that his father cheated on his mom but that the father was with the other lady first and he felt disgusted.
