wla sa mga text books ntin na nakipaglaban din ang mga Igorot warriors sa mga mananakop naniniwala ako na lumaban din sla at kya kung bakit mas pinili ni Gen. Luna na magkampo sa norte dahil aside sa mabundok ay makukuhang suporta ang Unang Republika ng Pilipinas sa mga local tribes like them kaso di natuloy nasawi si heneral sa kamay pa mismo ng kapwa pilipino :(

@Northerner Highlander Pattong, me think, is the common term of saying playing the gongs iti cordillera. Uray idiay kabanbantayan iti Ilocos Sur ket ibaga da mamattong tako/ agpangttong tayo. ngem dagiti i-natunin Bontoc of the madukayong tribe ket ti awag da idiay particular nga pattong da ket ballangbang- medyo napardas ti gangsa da. Ammok met bassit ti mangpatik daydiay gangsa da nga kunada nga ballangbang.

As usual, just another Insecure & ignorant lowlander w/out anything to show off. Let me tell you that your ancestors/your people had been occupied by Western powers for centuries & yet your forefathers still never adopted Spanish engineering, architecture, etc. Imao! towns in the Cordilleras are even much nicer like Sagada for ex. And look at the ingenuity/engineering of the Igorots a 'Minority group', before the Spanish even came they already built Thousands of Stonewalled Rice Terraces, a UNESCO World Heritage Site even considered as the 8th wonders of the world & you guys don't even have marks/ruins of pre-colonial built Structures that shows your identity/Civilization not even a single well made beautiful temple like those in Thailand nothing old only those usual Spanish built buildings & churches. No wonder why usually, only the 'natural' beauties of nature of the Philippines like beaches are the ones that you can offer to foreign visitors unlike the Culture rich Cordillera. Shut up & know your HISTORY, obviously your culture is inferior otherwise you or you're kind would be the one up there on the stage showing & performing something.
Ah, so yung ipakita dapat sa mga int'l viewers ay yung mga spanish-inspired dances para naman malaman nila na yun nalang and natirang kultura sa bansa.
