The Jumper Pak simply closes the circuit inside the N64. It doesn't do anything, but the machine won't work without it. If you have one, the Expansion Pak replaces the Jumper Pak and adds 4MB more memory, for added features in certain games.
You just described every collection ever. But if you must know, it has been quite nice profits wise, to buy these and see their prices multiplys in the last few years.
I notice, in general, most collectors on YT kind of ignore peripherals and I find myself more curious about them. I’d like to know about official stands and chargers... etc. Like I didn’t know there was good official PS3 controller charger until last year.
@WhiOnRox No ti wasn't, the only game that bundled the Pak in the USA and Europe was Donkey Kong 64. In Japan there was DK64, Majora's Mask and Perfect Dark.
It plugs into the controller, and while it's attached you can save your game progress on it. Though Nintendo's own games and several others have a built-in save inside the cartridge, no need for a memory card.

@iCrytex I've gotten the games from everywhere. eBay, Play-Asia, other finnish collectors... if you're collecting everything for one system, you have to look everywhere!

I hate blister packaging, but it seems like we have a fetish for it here in North America :( it's worthless once you open it once, and it's way harder to get into. Plus it's not biodegradable. Such a waste, give me a good cardboard box any day.

The boxes are the same size in Europe and the USA. The games in this video were special, bundled with hardware and therefore larger.

Some games (not all) support it for better resolution or other benefits.

No, the Expansion Pak only affects a very small number of games. It doesn't do anything with games that don't support it.

Starfox 64 has lots of difrent names in difrent countrys, one is "Star Vox 64"

If I were to import the stereo A/V Scart coverter and hook that up to my US N64, and then hook up that up to a scart to HDMI converter, would it work?
