But yeah, it was hard to make drums and record guitars for this one. This song is in 6/4 beat size with very weird accents on notes

Hearing all the legends, you believe Artorias was an invincible one man army, braving through the Abyss and returning unscathed; yet what you see before you is a worn-soul... The boss music begins, your beliefs of Artorias shatter the moment it consumes him and he goes berserk; alas, you finally realise the legends were somewhat false...for he "had availed nothing", and became corrupted by the very thing he swore to destroy, his duty given by Lord Gwyn. I love how fitting his song is, I break it down into 3 parts, The first part sounds like a beautiful meloncholy battle which sort of foreshadows what is actually going on. The second part that plays represents the remorse and anguish once you realize Artorias wasn't originally like this, he was a human, one of the best infact, but now he is literrally a mere shadow of his former self. The third part is HOLY SHIT THIS IS FUCKING HARD!
Artorias was such a badass, he fought the most unstoppable force in the Dark Souls series, the player, on the basis that they can just try again and again, with a fucking broken arm, and a greatsword in the other.
this really is amazing it brings across that despite how powerful he is there are glimpses of the fact that he is but a shadow of his former self and still mortal

He's every bit as difficult as I imagined him to be, and I'm sure he would've stomped me a hundred times over if I didn't come barreling at him with a Lifehunt Scythe on my first playthrough.

Is this one that's composed by Motoi Sakuraba? I mean, he does compose songs for Dark Souls so I have this theory that he's getting tired of composing for Tales games because his songs in those all sound the same but he kills it when he composes anything for Dark Souls.
