The story behind this song is pretty deep, it's actually about the vocalist's (Ryan Kirby) wife who had a near death experience of a stroke. Song is indeed a banger.
A long time ago when I was working in food delivery, I once stepped in a hole & broke my ankle. The person waiting for their food came out & helped me up. I had 3 other deliveries so I did them, still not realizing I'd broken it. On the final delivery, I had to walk up two floors & I just gave up. The person came out to meet me & at first refused to come down. I told them, I THINK I BROKE MY ANKLE. And they responded, "So you're saying I have to come down?" What day. So, I feel your pain.
Oh noo!!! That sounds painful! 😩 Ankle pain is shitty!! Next time I’ll wear boots or something that support my feet a bit better, or just watch where I step! 😅
You lost me when you said the vocals don’t sound personal. Considering the song is about the vocalists wife nearly dying from a stroke, and after all that he’s been through with his wife he is not ready for death as he’s been fortunate in his life to not experience a death yet. I’d consider doing research about the song before you talk about it being personal or not.
Sorry if I upset you, I was only talking about the vocal sound itself, not the message. I also talked about the vocal (sound) in the end and that I took back my words. As a vocalist myself I tend to talk about techniques and sounds. Of course it is a very sensitive subject and I support musicians to the fullest when they pour their heart out in music. So my apologies for not being clear enough with what I was talking about and thus creating a misunderstanding. I will be more clear in future reactions 🙂 Thank you for your comment and pointing that out!
JUMP TO 9:40 FOR ACTUAL REACTION! I'm talking about the Knotfest Finland 2022 -festival in the beginning and showing you a couple of clips 💥
