  • Just a quick "sound comparison" between the Logitech Z333 and the Edifier XM6BT.
My impressions: The Z333 sounds god awful, I can't even describe how much I hate it. The satellites sound boxy, they have no highs at lower volumes but becomes really distorted as you start increasing the volume. Also, the "subwoofer"... Just booming in the background, without producing any meaningful bass/low-end. Ofc a 5" woofer can't go that low, but it sounds horrible, even for a 5".
XM6BT is just in a whole another league. Here, it costs around the same as the Z333, comes with a 10mm tweeter (not a fake one, like on the Z333), a 3" mid driver and a 6.5" subwoofer. The sub can go as low as around 45Hz, sometimes sounds a bit boomy, but at least it can produce actual bass. The satellites also sounds pretty good, there are actual highs, the mids are a bit on the weaker side, but overall, I can't even complain at this price point.

You can read my impressions in the description, but in short: the Edifier's satellites are actual 2 way speakers, unlike the Logitech's satellites, which only uses "full range" (lol) drivers, and the sub is a lot bigger, 6,5" vs 5". Also you get bluetooth connectivity and a remote, which is a nice bonus imo. (Tho the volume can only be controlled via the remote, which can be frustrating, especially because you need to point it to the sub.)
