Completely agree. I'm dropping my first two hoodies and had to fight to get the max GSM they can run through their machines. They're so swag that I have barely had a chance to do a photoshoot all Summer be aise they're so warm. I went with embroidered for a extra level of finish to kick the brand off. Great advice, last thing I wanted was my brand feeling like a throw away
Thank you so much for this video! I was wondering- would the hoodie be thicker and heavier if it was 65% cotton and 35% polyester? Vs 100% cotton. Thanks so much!!
I like this information. I want to add that almost all of Ralph Laurens hoodies have draw strings in the hood, just to express that luxury brand do have strings.
Thanks for the information, super helpful! Maybe you could make a video where you tell more about how to choose the right sizing and the length of the shoulder drop and how you came up with those measurements/sizes :) Thanks a lot!
I believe the one that is the same on both sides is an interlock knit. it has no right or wrong side. fleece is gonna be soft, but very different material from the outside. if you’re wanting it where it’s just the same normal cotton look on the inside and outside, thats gonna be interlock knit:)
What GSM would you recommend for the UAE and Middle East, it’s very hot here but I’m trying to keep it luxurious, also do you have some sort of community I could join?
I love your videos Tadii! Thank you so much for all the hard work you put on making these videos. Could you please make a video about pattern ownership when working with manufacturers overseas? If the manufacturer created a pattern for my design do I own the rights of that pattern? Thank you in advance!
I love French Terry Loopback. Whilst many offer this fabric I struggle to find a supplier of a heavier fabric (480-500 gsm). Can anyone recommend a supplier for someone based in UK?
@@TadiiG when the collar on your shirt get worn out or stretched you pitch it in the trash the garment should have structure and maintain its structure according the piece this along with quality of material, and design is what set luxury apart from the rest. The faster the garment deteriorates is effect by its quality of material used. If I can spot it from the way it lays then you’ve lost a potential customer for life because they are looking for quality one piece could cost you 43k a year that’s the average people spend in the US on luxury brand clothing.

Does the 100% cotton hoodie shrink after washing?

Super helpful video! Learned everything I needed, plus super helpful tip about cuff and elastic. Now I know what to tell my manufacturer. Thank you!!
You’re more than welcome xx

Hey Tadii,
I have a question. What about sweatpants that look like streetwear. What is the best gsm for them?
Thank you for this information.❤
You’re welcome x
What would be a high quality fabric for spring , a breathable but slightly oversized look for both pant and hoodie . And what gsm would recommend
Spring where? in the UK?
I ordered a hoodie that was 420 gsm and 100% French terry but it doesn’t look like yours is yours double layered?
When you did the stitch for the hoodie part & the overlapping hoodie what did u ask for?
I just told them I wanted it to over lap, they have the skill set to make it happen xx
Hii.. Do you have any idea your clothes and hoodies export to Sri Lanka? Bcz I'm from here
Hey Tadi so what’s the fabric that’s smooth on the outside and inside called? I hate the feeling of any Terry and loops
Heyy you can try fleece black instead

I would see 200gsm, although you can still go for 250 to 300gsm and market it as an evening Tshirt xx
@@TadiiG Thank you! Yes I went for 200 for my t-shirts, 350 for hoodie and sweatpants
Winter vs UK Summer... depending on the style and if to be worn under a coat or jacket.

Thank you soo much! this is defo an interesting topic I will need to do a bit of research on! xx
I ordered 500 gsm 100 percent cotton do you think they will shrink ? Also can you tell me where you bought the hoodies ?
It depends on if the cotton is preshrunk or not! I had my hoodies made for my brand by a manufacturer in Italy xx
@@TadiiG i can provide you any kind of hoodies or trousers in cheap cost from Bangladesh.
Does the french terry cotton stick to your clothes???
No not from my experience x
Alright thank you @@TadiiG 💕

I have only one question. For people who do not have any design experience how can they get designers to work with for their fashion brand

Thank you
I appreciate you
Thank you xxx
Very nice
Thank you! X
The fact that all hoodies lay like shirts instead of actually hoodies is very annoying it looks rather cheap
Why do you think that is soo? xx

@@TadiiGdidn’t want to get too engaged in this conversation I see wonder why
