This game is so much better than battlefield 5. It just feels so good
Except for the random bullet diviation, the fact that people complain about historical inaccuracy in BfV but not Bf1, the fact that half of the fame came in DLCs, bajonet charges being much too strong, elite classes, behemothes, that rarely changed the outcome of the match, barely any customization, the spotting system, the sweet spot system or any other of the trillion extremly arcady elements.

@@projectpitchfork860 bayonets suck in BF1. They have no tracking, you’re more likely to pass though the target than you are to hit them, and turn with a sensitivity of 0

2. Let's forget that BF5 got a huge boost in popularity thanks to Pacific, and no, BF1 didn't get more popular from the DLC than the base game
3. I don't know what bayonet charge being strong means, but ok
4. Elite classes and behemoths change a lot in the game when played properly
5. Yeah sry that you can't make yourself look like a clown with weapon customization because it wasn't trying to replicate what COD Vanguard did. Oh, and it's WORLD WAR 1. So what did you expect?
6. Idk what's the issue with spotting system, if it's either broken or doesn't belong into the game, but if it's one of those, remember that spotting system is broken in BF4 and good luck finding someone properly without it
7. Sweet spots... Like it hasn't been in other BF games but who am I to judge...
@@cantingvenus2 exactly. Seeing what Vanguard is doing and creating cursed weapons just makes me appreciate the limited customization for BF1. And the best ww2 cod, WaW, had limited customization, with only 1 attachment.
Battlefield 1 is a perfect example of why having music in a multiplayer fps is always an amazing idea

I love the soundtrack because it's very calming and makes think that you're in a war situation in WW1
Plus, it adds more intensity and suspension in the game

Please tell me what server is this on, I'd love to join it because the enemy team must be full of blind people
probably an official really arent many good private servers on bf1 anymore
It depends tbh i play ps4 on some servers i can flank the enemy team and drop 20 kills before im even noticed but on some i cant even stick my head out the trenches without being shot at by an MG or sniped across the map.

Imagine battlefield 1 with the new player limit of 124. Especially in operations game mode. The trench combat would've been insane with 64 people rushing you
Idk bro, tried 128 on 2042 and was too much chaos, sometimes less is more. Going back to Bf1 after 2042 circus
124 players would crash the game. Games still aren’t meant to have 124 players and insane map Destruction. We aren’t that technologically advanced yet.
@@warlordop713 BC2 had the map destruction before anyone points that out but it was cleverly done and the whole map was one destructible building multiplied.
Agree that games can't have this many players yet. At least not the way triple A games are designed.
Even Battlefield 1 was terrible optimized to run 64 players. You had to have a computer above the specs to run it in a satisfactory manner.

Rush with 64 players is probably the father of Operations. It has 32 vs 32 focused on a spot on the map.

Best moments in Bf1: saving a team tank by killing the anti tank assault, penta killing a tank with a horse, sniping a plane at the beginning of the match with an artillery truck, stomping a line of the enemies with a horse resulting in 4+ multikills, impale kills, revive simulator in Fort de Vaux with 40+ revives per match, watching an enemy tank going over your anti tank mines and many, many more memorable moments makes this game the best in the franchise.

Running up to a group of enemies, tossing a single limpet charge, and then running away is the most satisfying thing. Especially when you get like five kills
Camping whole game up on hills with heavy tank and getting 120 kills with 0 deaths
I once got 124 revives on fort, and I remember a squadmate set up with me, and we just held a point by constantly firing the rocket gun into it. It was so intense when enemies flanked us, man this game is great

@@Fleshphp They are still doing pretty good. They took 3 sectors out of 9, so they average out this operation

@@alecsis882 I once played with a team that was so op in ballroom blitz that we took the first sector and we had only los 5 men. We then went on to win the match in our first battalion with about 70 troops remaining.

a. knowing that YOU and YOUR firepower brought one of these things down

b. being on top of one of them, barely surviving, and jumping off to parachute to safety
you feel like such a badass
Anyone else mess bayonet charging with their squad of Homies into one of the bloodiest gun fights of ever seen, while the most heroic music is blasting, telling you that you can still make a push for victory. That shit was extremely beautiful. Amazing game!
This game was an absolute gem. Loot box skins & weapon puzzles asside the core game play was peak Battlefield before BF5 dropkicked everything out the window
Weapon customization in BF1 is pathetic, and the Zepplin/Armored Train are some of the worst things to ever be in a Battlefield imo. Those things aside though BF1 absolutely was a gem.

My favorite moment of battlefield 1 is running head first into the enemy bunker with a gas mask and a shotgun and just going to town and when I'm cornered I whip out ol' reliable and throw a gas grenade and just gtfo while throwing anti tank grenades on my way out, just to add some spice

Map guns were underrated. Nothing beats the opening moments on Suez and cross mapping a squad with the howitzer.

Dude i didn't remember the mg feeling so powerful, how the gun moves with each shot, the sound design, the feel of having bullets ricocheting in the steel plate and sending chaos with each shot
Remember myself playing bf1 back in the day. Great days, that I miss, new bf games don’t give me such tension. Goosebumps, when hearing soundtracks in the end of the round. Even it was lacking of content and It was too casual, I love this game
I love battlefield 1 because I always feel like my actions will matter, like taking out that scout harassing our AA guns on Monte Grappa, or backcapping E in the desert. Really makes you feel some type of way

I feel like battlefield 1 had the riskiest strategy and it worked out for them so well, it was insanely ahead of it's time. Developers definitely put the most love & attention to this game, even the DLC we're game changing. Pls make a remaster of this game, and make it cross play, almost everyone would buy this legendary masterpiece.

Say what you want about bf1 but I had an absolute blast playing this. Kept me entertained for a long time. One of my favourite battlefields.
Bf1 still had some of the best gameplay and weapon feel of any of the battlefields
The guns are just so perfect sound design everything down to the mud that get on it when you hit prone! The guns on bf5 just sound and feel like your shooting bbs
It’s not about beating the enemy team, it’s about landing you plane on top of the blimp and shooting any and everything below
that airship is too stand out, no wonder it get defeat so easily
I like how well done the shields are after the war there were a couple soldiers who would say things like I knew in my mind it wouldn't protect me but for some reason it made me feel safe.

I once took out the battleship by just circling around with the torpedo boat and throwing torpedoes at it. Soooo satisfying when I killed the ship
fun fact : in ww1 skilled pilots would land their plane on the enemy scout blimps long enough to send it crashing to the ground just before taking off. To combat that some blimps were fitted with explosives just in case that happened.
