The Colts leading their division after this game, all after the season they had last season, is miraculous. Credit to coaching, improved offensive scheming, the players playing with heart on all three phases of the game, and a little luck and ref help. As a Colts fan, I'LL TAKE IT.

Great game. Hard to watch. I miss having the confidence Peyton or luck gives. Hopefully over time these new quarterbacks will develop that. The announcer lady was a bit distracting since she sounded like a 14 year old boy. But the networks are required to do what they must.
As a Colts Fan, we got away with PI but Ravens did have so many opportunities to win this game. I’m very happy for my team to be a competitive team so far this season. GG Ravens!!!

Yeah it’s pretty common for refs to just let the players “play” when you this close a game and coming down to the wire. (Be it because they believe it’s something integral to the game of football or be it because they’re just too scared if being the ones to ruin the game by throwing on a bad/incorrect pentaly. Idk lol I’m just happy my team got to be the beneficiary this time around.)
Yes its common for refs to let a face mask penalty go for the sake of "letting the players play" even though that would have changed the outcome. Its definitely common for a defensive pi call to get ignored even though that too would have changed the outcome
@@Joshua-sw1dq I mean the facemask was just a case of not being reviewable and no ref had an angle on it in a pile. I am not even sure if you could have PI on the last play due to how close the receiver was to the LOS but lets not pretend they didnt let the Ravens get away with more penalties. The long Pittman play that he got his helmet taken off of the 2nd defender CLEARLY came in and led helmet to helmet contact... Thats a 15yd penalty that instantly put the colts into FG range that was missed and that would have happened before the 4th down failed conversion. Its really a moot point as there were no calls that allowed the game to get to that missed call.

Important to understand the game you're speaking of is the Saints who have 1 of the best pass D's in the NFL. EVERYONE runs vs the Saints. The Eagles did not run the ball at all in the first half. Lotta penalties in that game by Birds. If you do not establish the run vs the Saints you're in for a long day. @@psalmsurfer1

Beth Mowins, the announcer for this Colts-Ravens game, has been calling NFL Football for the past few years on CBS, ESPN and Raiders preseason. Kate Scott called the Seahawks games this past preseason. This isn’t really a new thing.

It's crazy with the injury excuses I hear from some ravens fans. Indy doesn't have their starting center, their qb, or Johnathan taylor and starting safety.
When you think of the greatest sports announcers like Pat Summeral, Keith Jackson, Jim Nantz, etc all have one thing in common. A rich baritone voice that is pleasing to the ear to listen too. This woman's voice it making my ears bleed as she talks. It isn't because she is a woman but it is the frequency of her voice that is so unpleasing to the ear.

well he lost his job in jacksonville because they drafted a generational talent. and the philly system was built around Hurts. I do think he can be the starter with the colts if anthony richardson gets hurt often. Sort of how RGIII kept getting hurt and the Redskins had to go to the more reliable pocket passer kirk cousins.

Minshew took a beating today but somehow managed to make a couple of important plays when it mattered. No INTs and he held on to the ball on some of the worst hits. He’s going to be sore tomorrow but he did a good job managing the offense in a tough fought game.

The Colts stopped the Ravens passing offense with a 4 man rush. Lamar was under pressure all day and they rattled him. Lamar was good with running the ball with over 100 yards rushing and accounted for 2 rushing touchdowns. Hamilton was a beast for the Ravens had 3 sacks. Without Jonathan Taylor, Colts coach Shane Steichen outcoach John Harbaugh, especially in overtime. Horribaugh was atrocious with clock management in overtime and letting Melvin Gordon run the ball at that key moment instead of just letting Lamar run the ball. Anyway, great win Colts, you have an oustanding head coach!
