Sasha Calle once had a much larger role as Supergirl in the DCEU, according to multiple reports. Calle was cast as the Kryptonian heroine in The Flash back in 2021 where she reportedly beat over 425 other actors for the role. At the time, it appeared Calle would become the DCU's canon Supergirl alongside the likes of Ezra Miller's Flash and Ben Affleck's Batman. However, with the restructuring of leadership within DC, Calle's future as Supergirl is no longer certain.
True, but her Supergirl film is still listed as being in development. With the existing DCU written off, who knows if she might pop up in the next attempt as Supergirl? She's already proved she'd be brilliant.
Nice work but the sharpness I believe is too high and there are white glow in many scenes. May be dial it down a bit and it would be perfect. Good job.
I'm surprized the Flash movie underperformed expectations. I found it extremely entertaining. I absolutely loved Calle's iteration of Supergirl. Maybe Miller's off screen woes turned movie goers off.
She was runined by the way the timeline ended up. No way to recover or train. She had no chance to win. Batman went into it the same way. Given a two-four weeks to get ready and make a plan they could have won. Batman with kryptonite weapons taking the lead going right to ZOD could have made for the best fight ever! Batman Vs Zod. They should have gave it a happy ending with the timeline.
