I never knew these exist in physical copies. Thank you so much for leaving links to them. Buy these games separately are 7 to 8 dollars each. These collections are great to have
honestly, this is the only way i'm willing to buy old roms with an emulator, a physical cartridge with all the games mentioned in the box included in the cart, not like the nonsense that capcom is trying to pull with their megaman and resident evil collections
@@viewtifuljon8105 They definitely fit those two all on cart so there's no reason why the Mega Man Legacy, X Legacy collections were part on cart and the other half on code. There's also the physical release of the original 3 Devil May Cry games where one is on cart and 2,3 are codes and Monster Hunter Stories collection where the 2nd game is a code.
The assortment feels like they threw everything into a fishbowl and pulled lots. I mean I'm happy Metal Slug is finally on switch by why on vol 4!? Lol. Outside of Metal Slug, there's really only one game I'd be curious about: Shinsetsu Samurai Spirits Bushidou Retsuden. It's Samurai Showdown, but as a turn-based RPG a-la Final Fantasy. Probably never going to happen.
@@rgsniper2 For Metal Slug, yes. I know we have the anthology collection on PS4. For the RPG, yeah if switch can handle it. It's about 30 hours though so very likely won't be in one of these selections
@@jikmjuhn Sorry, I was meaning because it's been on the switch for a long time digitally. The way you worded it, I was asking if you meant only in a physical version and not the digital one that's been there a long time. If that was the case I was going to say that all of the Metal Slug games on already on switch.
@@jikmjuhn Same here... I buy digitally when they are cheap, but 99% of the time buy the physical regardless of whether I have it digitally or not. Would love the Metal Slug collection physically.
I hope, aca neo geo volume 5 and 6, will come out in June 2025, with some cool games like- ROBO ARMY, BLUE JOURNEY, REAL BOUT FATAL FURY, LEAGUE BOWLING, METAL SLUG 5, KING OF FIGHTER'S 97, and SENGOKU 2.
Already got my vol 1 and vol 2. Will get these too. I am curious though why they jumped straight to kof2000 and not put kof97 on that was the start of really great kof games and would love it physically. Edit just checked the list for vol 1 and 2 and there doesn't seem to be any chronological order to any of the games so i imagine kof97 will come sometime, here's hoping they just keep these volumes coming.
The previous two releases had a ASIA multi language with english cover. That's the version I got. I would wait for the same version for these next two as well if you prefer english covers.
@@PhysicalParadise I mean I'll take any Neo Geo I can get so I'm not complaining. I just feel like they missed out on some other good games for the collections. Maybe they are planning more volumes in the future?
I'm assuming it's because (for example) if you didn't like NeoGeo fighting games and only liked Metal Slug, and they made a Metal Slug only collection, well you'd only buy that and they couldn't milk you for more money by stretching them across multiple sales.. Personally I would rather have true collections (and I would buy them all), but as they are doing it I'll end up paying a lot more as I'll have a few true collections and a lot of mixed collections, which equates to more money for them and a lot of wasted my by me. It makes all the sense in the world. Later on down the line once they have sold us all these collections, they'll probably release things like a metal slug only collection to see if we'll buy that as well.
@@rgsniper2 I also would rather have true collections myself for the games that have multiple entries and have the other single release games be combined in a couple collections. I'd 100% buy a Metal Slug collection and Fatal Fury collection. I don't think the current collections are that bad but there are definitely some very questionable game choices.
@@Apocalyptic_Sentinel Agreed, I guess I don't mind as again I would only get them for the physical aspect. I already own these NeoGeo games in at least 5 other formats. I just love to collect, and the switch is the one system I try to collect all my favorite retro games on.
Slightly better than 1&2 but still not a good reason to get physical over digital. Mostly the same games SNK has been given us since the PS2 era and possibly the Evercade releases won't be much different (if there are cart releases, which I doubt 120%).
So disappointing. The MVS versions which are already available on the eshop. Keep in mind, the Wii Virtual Console offered the AES versions. Real Bout Special with Nightmare Geese, KoF98 with Omega Rugal, I think the AES version of Last Blade also offered more secret characters. It would be better to simply re-release the series compilations like in the past. Heck, the SNK Arcade Classics Vol. 1 was even better. Included Super Sidekicks 3 with Taiwan team (the Chinese government didn’t like that, so this title was removed from the eshop).

That has always annoyed me about Capcom when it comes to Switch.
I think they managed the full collection on the cart for Megaman ZX and Battle Network.

Whoa, I didn't even know about vol 1 & 2!
They are better volumes then 3-4 in my opinion
They need to release the metal slug collection already. They put it on psp and it goes for $150 but damn it would be so good looking on switch.
I agree, a new metal slug collection would be a day one purchase to me if it has 1-6, x, xx.
Es cierto mano ,cuando carajos nintendo Switch piensa soltar la colección completa de metal slug de hecho que la rompe en One
@pepeluchoparedes2981 it depends on SNK company... 😢
@@Apocalyptic_Sentinelxx? I missed that. Why no xxx?
@lun_r XX is a enhanced version of 7 that plays more like the older games.
when I see neogeo physical media my wallet opens
Hopefully the next collection volumes have rest of metal slug series, magical drop series and puzzle bobble series...
I didn't know there were more SNK game collections after when that SNK Anniversary Collection released.
I want a metal slug collection.on switch
Thank you for this update Jordan
Got the first 2 getting these as well
Probably, we will get ACA Neo Geo selection 5 and 6, what games do you think they will put on them?
I don't know but I'd love:
Twinkle Star Sprites
Another random Metal Slug
Neo Drift Out
NAM-1975
any Magical Drop game
That's actually a good Neo Geo collection.
I assume that if they’re showing Neo Drift Out in the trailer that it may come out on a further volume?
Entirely possible
hoping for sengoku 3 to become physical for the first time on modern console
I have recieved 1 and 2 asia version today. Now im hyped for the next volumes!! Greetings from switzerland!
Nice!
Unfortunately im getting a message that says PlayAsia doesnt deliver to me anymore. 🤷♂️
Why?
FF VII Remake Intergrade available for preorder at VGP

What does PlayAsia mean, exactly why it says “Free Shipping Eligible”, because they still charge me for the shipping.
It means it can be shipped for free IF it reaches the $100 threshold. They have to specify that because some items are just too big or heavy.
Very cool 🎮👍🏾
Playasia says only Japanese in language description
It will have English
