Loved this video! My family surprised me with a 4 day Disney vacation for my 60th birthday and we had such a great time at this property! So many options for things to do for everyone and the place was beautiful!
I stayed at Coronado with my wife during our second honeymoon in 2015. Honestly, we enjoyed it quite a lot. It's just about the most relaxing resort at WDW, and it felt at times like we had the whole place to ourselves.
How many other disney resorts have you stayed at? I stayed here for an event and loved it! Unfortunately my wife couldn't come, however, and Im wondering about the French Quarter/Animal Kingdom resort and if its best to come back to what I experienced or if its worth it to go somewhere else
@@spawn302I've stayed at over a dozen resorts. Of them, Coronado is fine. Definitely a Moderate Resort by its nature. Animal Kingdom Lodge is a Deluxe Resort and, trust me, you can tell if you stay there. I highly recommend it--especially if you can manage to book a room that overlooks the safari animals outside.
The food court is more expensive there because a 3rd party is management of the food court. Disney does not manage this one for some reason. I feel I knew at some point why but right now I'm not remembering.
Always been a fan of Coronado. The new Tower is quite nice as well. When I first saw the concept drawings for the tower and lobby I thought it looked fairly generic. However seeing the full lobby completed it very much echoes and draws on a lot of architecture from Barcelona specifically that of Gaudi
I tried Coronado last trip for the first time. I was afraid of the size and buses, but found the resort actually very manageable and I never waited long for a bus. I stayed in the Gran Destino Tower, so it had a deluxe feel. We usually stay at a deluxe, so I was surprised that this resort actually makes my top 5 now! It is large, but with the bridges, even the farthest room in Ranchos isn’t that long of a walk to the main building. Great restaurants (even the quick serve!), gorgeous decor & landscaping and just a wonderful resort!

How about the smell in the tower! I tried everything that was supposed to smell like it! My favorite resort EVER! Can’t wait to go back. My favorite You Tuber in my favorite place! ❤️
We're headed to CBR in November. Really hoping to see a full walk through of CBR. Love these classic, straight forward, resort reviews and hoping to see you visit them more regularly again.
Thanks for sharing tips in this video. Now, are snakes and gators also present on property outside of waters? Is it common to encounter them in the bushes or walking path too? First time in Florida

Hi Michael! ,Pop Century has the most rooms of any Disney resort. Love the tour!
Coronado is one of my faves, but I have yet to go see Gran Destino. Will do that someday, and grab a coffee!
