I stayed at Coronado in the Tower for my honeymoon last year, the week before Christmas, and we both loved it! The busses weren’t any issue for us, they weren’t ever crowded for early entry to all 4 parks, and the rides were super short. We didn’t care the bus ride being longer on our way back cause we enjoyed the longer rest off our feet after the long day. The best perk, like you’ve mentioned, the resort wasn’t made with kids as a #1 priority, so there aren’t many kids at all around. The lobby, restaurants, pool, and shops were so quiet and nice without a lot of children, and it made is so nice to relax after park days. The food was amazing and we would absolutely choose to stay here again.
after spending a day at the park with family with kids, man in w/c and elderly greatgramma....this place sounds and looks PERFECT. Thanks for your comment
First time commenting on your videos. Though im not a traveler with a toddler, I love your willingness to show us average Joe's like the rest of us, honest opinions that don't seem everything is glorious for everything Disney like so many other channels.
We stayed at Coronado for my birthday trip in January. I absolutely loved it. 2 adults no kids. We loved the food. Especially 3 bridges. Buses were super fast in my opinion. I was worried about transportation but it really wasn’t an issue at all. My only con was that the hot tub was small and crammed probably since it was January and a little cold out.
Thank you for your review. I enjoyed it. I loved this resort when I was on an Adult only trip in 2022. I don’t remember seeing a ton of business travelers. We loved the amenities and food options here too. Busing wasn’t an issue either for us to or from the parks. For a family, I would avoid this resort with young kids, but would consider it if I had 13+ yr olds.
POFQ will forever be my favorite resort. It’s calm, quiet, less busy, beautiful, and I rarely had to wait for a bus! Only one stop and minimal walking to the restaurant and the bus stop. Fun splash pad too
THANK GOD for more adults here than kids... So glad I booked a Club Level room here for me and my 8-yr-old at the end of our Disney trip -- I'm sure I'll need a break from all other kids by that point.
Totally agree with your review. The bus situation was really difficult for us to get over. We were in the tower and after two full busses we ended up just driving to the park 😅 The accommodations were amazing but that was rough ahaha
We've considered staying there with our kids but we haven't stayed there yet. The pool and playground looked cool. We hate bus rides. Glad to give your content a watch, a like and a comment-- support for a fellow Disney mom. I appreciate your helpful info.
We just stayed at Coronado for 1 night during our last trip. One thing I was not prepared for…did not realize it would be so hard to get a room with a tub. Our daughter WILL NOT take a shower (she is terrified). Only baths. We paid for a preferred room and had to choose between our preferred room or a standard room as far away from the “main hub” as it gets. We ended up just skipping her bath that night since it was just one night. But something to consider for sure is that a tub is not a guarantee. Agree with everything you said about the resort! They desperately need a second form of transportation to something. It’s a great resort, but the cons for us always outweigh the pros.
Yes 👏🏼 That’s a huge con I forgot to mention! The lack of rooms with bathtubs emphasizes even more how this resort is geared towards adults, it was disappointing for us as well! With Ellie being a little older now, we made the shower work, but at 14 months old, it was not ideal 😕
Coronado Springs is the cheapest moderate resort that's why i stay here, also its almost like a deluxe resort feel. I love this resort and usually stay here. It's usually included with any Disney discounts. It's a beautiful resort. ive been here during a convention and from my experience those people don't really tend to leave the convention hall and roam around
I'm surprised they didn't build a pool just for the tower. Never stayed here but would like to. The older rooms are more our speed. We don't mind the bus stops. We don't go often so are happy just riding a Disney bus😊😂
We stayed there last July, standard room furthest from the hub and tower, we enjoyed the resort (my first time staying at Disney). I would def go back as a couple with no kids, my brother and sister in law with their 2 & 5 yo liked it but we had 7 adults with 2 kids so buses and strollers and big pool was nice but I know they would not have enjoyed it with out all of us there to assist. We plan to go again and I watch all the reviews of different resorts so that when we all go again I can help us make the best pick. I think this is a beautiful resort with a lot nice food options
We stayed at Coronado in 2019 and they were just finishing up the tower. I would like to go back and maybe do a split stay one night club level to splurge! We liked the pool but my kids were teens and went at night so it looked great. Have you ever stayed at POR its our favourite stayed there several times including when our kids were younger.
When i stayed there, there was some sort of convention that had everyone dressed up in full business attire all over the resort. Really killed the vacation vibes.
I do have to agree that the pool for little one's might not be the best tho I think the theming is nice. I think where they focused more was on that playground area. That entire area is so BIG and well themed and maybe that's why there is less focus on a dedicated splash area for little ones. Watching vlogs from this trip I found you to be waiting or more focused on getting the "free food" in the club lounge...it almost felt like the dining plan where you want to make sure you get your moneys worth you know what I mean? I think for this reason club level might not be for me as I would be too concerned when we can go eat our "free food".
Absolutely agree that the playground is awesome here! 👏🏼 Club level won’t make sense for everyone ☺️ The value is really in breakfast and dinner being included. We spend a lot of time at our resort, so it works for us! But the dining plan will give you more options 👌🏼
This hotel looks luxurious for the price but you lost me with the transportation issues. If I stayed here I’d have to budget for a Minnie Van to all parks.
That’s a good point. You could definitely budget in Minnie vans for a stay here, but then that money could also be spent to upgrade to a different resort 🤪😂
If the lady commentator wish somenthing more fun ,disney theme and surroundings ,mayby book at disney animation ,wonderful place for children, the little mermaid pool is awesome and not hectic as the other big pool ,the cars pool is really nice ,also they have the sky lifting to the parks
Did Coronado for Birthday/Fathers Day as 2 adults. We have 2 kids and would never stay here with them. They’re too young and it’s too large of a resort. I also wish Disney would create a business hotel/resort separate for those guests who have to work. When I’m on vacation, I don’t want to see or hear business transactions from others. I want to escape that. It triggers me and starts my anxiety. As much as I don’t want to be around kids on my adult vacation, I would still rather have the kids playing and splashing than watching and listening to someone work. I see why this is the cheapest moderate resort. All the other moderate resorts outweigh this one.

This perfectly sums up this resort 👏🏼☺️ Thank you for sharing!!!

While that is true watch out if they have a dance or cheerleading competition at the convention center bc that brings lots of kids!
Totally agree with your review. The bus situation was really difficult for us to get over. We were in the tower and after two full busses we ended up just driving to the park 😅

The playground is awesome! 👏🏼 But yes, the bus rides are not great. Thank you so much! ❤️

Would love to hear your opinion of the best and worst pools on property. Thanks for sharing!

My second time staying at coronado ,we love it!! My daughter love the pool and slide🥰 i personally love the surroundings

Hi Bekah! Thanks for the review. :)
Absolutely! ☺️
Great review! I think this resort would be more suited with older kids and if you have a car.
We have a trip coming up very soon, staying at Coronado. Thankfully, we will have our vehicle.
Having a car will be so helpful! 👏🏼 I hope you have a wonderful time! It’s a beautiful resort 😍

Good morning Bekah happy Thursday morning and I loved your vlogs and you are amazing Supporter

I have to disagree about the pool. We actually really liked it. I guess it’s just personal preference though.
And that’s totally fine! ☺️ I know a lot enjoy the pool here!
We love it ,my daughter was 7 years old when we stayed there and she love it ,didnt want to leave 🤪🤣🫣 now we are going again! She is 10, now
What hotels would you recommend for a family of 5 (2 adults, 3 kids ages 4-10)? What are good, inexpensive options?
Disney animation ,beautiful for kids 3 nice big fun pools ,,lots of good food, the skyliner to parks ,the suits ate good for a family
Great video!
Thank you!
Totally agree about Three Bridges! It’s so good and way under rated.
Yes!!! Such an underrated restaurant 👏🏼

Maybe 🫣🤣
I 100% agree with you on the pool, it is the WORST!
If a new pool was somehow added to Gran Destino, that would be a game changer! 🙌🏼
YES!@@BekahHart
