That's the first part watched Ben. I'm really glad you have posted videos of the tour as when i did the works trip privately about 20 years ago i never filmed it myself. I recognise some of the faces in the BV next to you, especially Overground Andy. Colin Naisbitt is a good friend of mine and very good at organising tours. All the best.

Thanks for your comment John. My channel is for railway enthusiasts first and foremost so that would be the main priority. Coincidentally part 2 and part 3 do show more of the industrial side of things so could appeal more if that's what your interested in.
Part 2 and Part 3 show more extensive Part of the works. Certainly is not what it once was unfortunately but was fascinating to see none the less. Thanks for your comments Mike

Do they use the same gauge railways as the national rail network?
Yes exactly the same. Both networks are connected and shared in some places.
