To all the people saying her accent is bad, is because the actress is Greek she is supposed to sound like that since through history we know that Anastasia was a Greek Queen. It would be weird and a set up if she was speaking flawlessly Turkish.

For anyone who get this recommended to your recommendation and are clueless on what you're watching, this is a turkish series called Magnificent Century, basically this is telling you about a girl who was kidnapped as a slave and turn to become one of the most powerful Queen in the world historically, this is based on the true event. Basically this is like Game of Throne but better in my opinion.

What a beautiful first meeting...full of innocence... sultan ahmed was very young,and knew the rudeness of harrem and palace,he found anastasia a true innocent baby girl...indeed, anastasia was so innocent,charming and good hearted....

Came back to here after seeing that Netflix Queen Charlotte teaser, they totally ripped off Magnificent Century: Kosem
ahmed was really the first one who rebelled against ottoman's rules. He was just a teenager when he succeeded the throne and fell in love with her, who was 14. They really were a powerful couple, till he died at a young age of 27. Kosem was really, from what is portrayed in the series, the avatar of kindness. She and ahmed made a great couple. Magnificent century kosem was better than the first one in terms of the relationship inside the palace, imo.

The Greek actress Anastasia Tsilimbiou the beautiful blond girl i mean, is a famous child actress in Greece but not that famous as an adult. 😥 Her first role was at the age of 6 or 7 in a crime dark series based on an kidnaping case. The series called " Για την καρδιά ενός αγγέλου" which means " for the heart of an angel"(2006). The girl actually sold to the criminal by her biological father but he didnt know that they want kill and sold the organs, he that she was going for adoption. It is a really sad story and based on a book with the same name, and i think part of it is also a true story. Fortunally the girl been saved by the detective and the mother who never gives up.
but as i know greeks and turks are enemies. how could they work together?

Magnificent Century OG is better than this. But the chemistry between Ekin Koç (Sultan) and Anastasia Tsilimpiou (Kosem/Anastasia) is great. Anastasia looks so lovely and you’d believe that the sultan fell in love with just her innocent portrait.

Loved this series. I think that Ahmed and Anastasia are great together, but the actress playing her was only 16 at the time. To play a more mature Kosem they had to change actresses but it was great in the end
True, Anastasia (the actress) was very young and Beren surely better suited for the role of older Kosem. But I wished they kept Anastasia for few more episodes, would love to see Nasia and Ahmed together after the disease.
It’s funny how they try to make history all flowy and romantic and beautiful. When it probably didn’t differ from our imperfect everyday.
Romantic and beautiful? This is only the first episode. The show grows progressively darker until it's not even recognizable. It's about a love story in the beginning. It's about a mother executing her own son in the end

The Turkish series Magnificent Century was absolutely beautiful, had wonderful acting and the story was based closely on a period of Trurkish history. I don’t know what THIS is, but it certainly isn’t the same or even related. UGH.

I first watched a few chinese series with English subtitles which turned out to be really good then i watched 2 tribal fusion bellydance videos one of them being in Russian the next might of had Turkish accents in the clothing and language I guess...
