Marty Music Marty! just saw you on guitarlings for the first time!! great watch and the first ever guest!! ahh anyway thanks for doing all these videos, currently learning from you're "hey joe" video, saving up for my first electric this christmas, thinking strat at the moment but need to go out and get a feel for them all first. i'm rambling now so i'll leave with a thanks and you're awesome 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Marty, you are such a cool content creator! I just want to say that though some of your videos don't get that much attention, the attention and effort you put into reading comments and liking and chilling out with your audience is really special! You are really big help for me, on my adventure with learning guitar, and I will never forget how helpful you were when I look back 5, 10 years from now! Keep on making TH-cam and the world a better, more musical place!
I am always amazed when I go to Songbirds. I have been to shows there and always make time to check out the guitars before the shows. Nice place. Thanks.
Marty, thank you so much for all of your hard work! Once again this was a fantastic video. I knew about the Broadcaster and then the Nocaster, but I didn't know why he went to Telecaster. The invention of the TV led to the naming of one of the most iconic guitars in history. Television - Telecaster.....Brilliant!!!
The guitar was hanging on a leather strap and a nail on the wall. It is the first tele ever made...it used to reside in New York. Amazing story that comes with that guitar!I've touched that guitar! Awesome stuff!
Hey Marty. For once i'm not gonna beg for Love Spreads By The Stone Roses. ( see what i did there)? No seriously for one moment. I've just had to endure the British X Factor "FOR A WHOLE HOUR OF MY LIFE." Sorry for shouting. And then sat and watched this. I really didn't think i would watch this whole thing. But you are not only a brilliant teacher . Your also not to shabby at the old interview. Your enthusiasm for this mysterious plank of wood strapped to the front of you is really inspiring . Cheers. Oh and big up to camera guy.
I knew the Broadcaster was named after radio broad casting, but I never knew the Telecaster was named after TV broadcasting. That's too cool. Simple too, such was Leo. Good stuff Marty. Thanks.
So SAD to see Songbirds closing down.....(8/15/20)Hopefully some of the guitars will go back to us fans and get played ,like they should be!!!!Thank you Songbirds for giving us ALL a chance to see the best guitars in the world!!!!
Way to go Marty! Scare the crap out of the old guy like you were gonna drop one of his baby's. I'm guessing he changed his shorts after the interview...🤗
Hey Marty! Love your tutorials and vids man. My request to you my man, is that if you can teach us the electric guitar parts for starman by David Bowie. I see many covers but not tutorials, so I would love to see you teach us. Btw, can you as well reupload how to play November Rain by Guns N Roses? Thanks Marty and I hope you have a wonderful day
Hey Marty love your videos! I'm a beginner learning my acoustic and bass and singing. I learned dead or alive intro from watching you! I wanted to ask can you do a cover of "Arc of Space" by Bruce Dickinson? Please let me know man keep going!
When I went to the songbirds museum I got to hold the red prototype and I played it at the time I didn’t think it had the original string but they were old and it was out of tune thank god I didn’t try to tune it and be the guy to break a string on it
Pretty sure San Marino Blue is a 1954 Pontiac color, not a 1953 Buick color. Fender sent a bass to the 1955 NAMM show painted in it. This museum has an amazing number of amazing early custom color Fenders. Like it's amazing. Like so amazing you wonder if it's real. That kind of amazing.
Don't Let Me Down followed by a discussion on rosewood necks? Is this a coincidence? (George used an all rosewood tele to play that song on the roof top performance in Saville Row)
hello Marty you can if you please activate the subtitles in French and other?? for your videos like this and for your guitar lessons, TH-cam allows this option it would be good activity for people to really understand what you say and for example understand the story on this video present Thanks from France Greg 😊
Great video Marty !you're such a wise. ass,if you dropped that guitar it wouldn't have mattered, it's a relic anyway😝, but Dave would have killed you , anyway hope to get down there and check this place out sometime, cheers🍺
I find it bizarre that this guy can get the history of one of his guitars so wrong. That red Fender was never a Broadcaster but instead started off life as Harold Courtright's two pickup Esquire #0009. It didn't belong to Arlis McMinn either, he owned #0095 which is featured in Fender historian Richard Smiths video on TH-cam. Anyway, good job Vintage Guitar Magazine got it right. I did try emailing Songbirds but they didn't have the decency to humour me with a reply. Here's the link and original pic....... www.vintageguitar.com/17470/arliss-mcminn-and-the-california-playboys/
Thanks so much for watching and supporting MartyMusic! www.MartyMusic.com

Nearly had a heart attack when you pretended to drop that tele
My father in law pretended to drop our first son when he was 3 hours old. He did not get to hold him after that.
Marty you're living my dream, but faking dropping that guitar was pure evil. Thanks for these tours. :)
Marty, this video is amazing. We need more videos on historical guitars. Keep up the good work!!! 🤟
I am always amazed when I go to Songbirds. I have been to shows there and always make time to check out the guitars before the shows. Nice place. Thanks.

Don't Let Me Down followed by a discussion on rosewood necks?
Is this a coincidence?

Is it me or does Marty just get more skilled as a player all the time? ;)
That red one on the floor is an early prototype. Hope he gets to play it.
