- Megalodon is coming to Jurassic World Evolution 2 but in what kind of DLC pack? Is it a Cenozoic pack or is a different kind of Jurassic World Evolution 2 DLC coming our way?

What do you WANT the DLC to be and what do you THINK it will be? (Not necessarily the same)

I feel like a cenozoic dlc is likely as it would allow frontier to bring in the Smilodon so they could round off the Cc creatures
I think it will be a Piscivore pack including: Megalodon, Irritator, Hatzygoeptyx and Deniosuchus or sarchosuchus
I think a cenezoic pack will be good
I remember when frontier got us with the dunk Meg illusion
I’m saying Cenozoic dlc cause if it has the Meg it will have the smilodon and mammoths and perhaps paraceratherium or haast’e eagle or megatherium

Adding a Meg seems like a perfect way to include a Lagoon fence attack animation for a free update. Mosa and Meg would both benefit greatly from that! Maybe that’s asking too much
Why would they attack the fences? Do marine reptiles want to airdrown or something?

And who the hell would program a fence breaking animation for the 5 (with the Meg, 6) water predators just for them to hunt one of the 118 prey species that WILLINGLY COMES CLOSE to a saltwater paddock? That would happen in one millionth times unless you set it up.

@@cretaceouscontainment4472 Tylosaurus is 12 meters long. Enough. Kronosaurus is 10 meters long. Enough. Dunkleusteous is 11 meters long. Enough. Meg will surely be around 20 meters long. Enough. The only questionable one is the Liopleurodon, that is around 6-8 meters long
The cenozoic will need at least two DLC's to have enough variety to place a “cenozoic only” park. Here are my expectations about what species could we find besides Megalodon and CC Smilodon:

@@lost-Eclipse considering how sloppy the last dlc was, titanoboa better be in this one. I just can't excuse how undercooked secret species was unless this pack has some seriously good species backing it.

I wouldn't mind titanoboa but I think frontier would have to make water as a habitat requirement instead of just being a food/drink need since titanoboa mainly lived in the water most of its life otherwise it would choke itself to death due to its weight
My production is (megalodon were going to need a bigger lagoon), mammoth, terra bird, smilodon. also this is probably the last pack or at least second to last one
Doubtful, there's Chaos Theory and the fourth World movie coming up, there's no reason to end this cash cow yet.
@@GoGojiraGo I mean, JWE 2 came out in 2021, a year before Dominion. It is possible. I hope it is not the case, because there is still alot they can do with this game.
I'm not anxious about the last DLC being the next one. The chaos theory leak about Becklespinax practically assures that there will be another DLC including it in the game.
I really hope Basilosaurus comes in somewhere. It sorta fits thematically cause the Meg was theorized to hunt whales, and Basilosaurus is just really neat. For a whale

@@terrificpilot I don't see why they can't add sauropod defence in a titans pack! They did add the Ankylodocus and the immense backlash to it not attacking back could spark an update.
I hadn't thought about a possible titans pack, now im hoping for it! I'd really love it, and hopefully it wont be the last dlc, cause if it will be a titans pack they would still have to add smilodon and microceratus so there would be 1 or 2 more dlcs

Honestly when I think about it, we always thought about dlcs that had unquestionable proof, never came like a pterasaur pack or even the herbivore pack. I think there will be at least 3 more dlcs in the future. Pterasaur pack, herbivore pack and a final expansion.❤🎉😅😊
That was my theory, theory that got stronger with the marine and predator species packs, so it would only make sense to add those two

If you really want to go crazy there's also the "Gentle Giants" Pachyrhinosaurus(looks dope af), troodon and Tylosaur from JP the game(Nostalgia just hits) and the JP tresspasser Albertosaurus(in the game the firs cloned dinosaur).
They have never fixed their spot in canon but they look neat and have cool stories
If it were really a Cenozoic DLC, I would absolutely want Argentavis as the fourth species. It would be in line with previous DLC (1 marine, 2 terrestrial, and 1 volatile) and would be a phenomenal addition, something very different from what we already have. A terror bird would be "another theropod" technically, so it would be redundant, but I wouldn't mind it at all, as it is literally among my favorite animals.
Agree. I could see something like Teratornis or even Pelagornis, but Argentavis is iconic as Biggest Bird, so I'd prefer that. Megalodon, Mammuthus, Smilodon, Argentavis is a good mix. Obviously I'd love terror birds, giant sloths, glyptodonts & other weird Cenozoic beasties, but those four cover the most bases.
Assuming it is a cenozoic pack and smilodon is coming... imagine how amazing and interesting the frontier skins for meg and smile would be 👀
I bet the jungle skins for Smilodon will be tiger and leopard themed! If they include a Woolly mammoth, then who knows? You can only have so many different shades of brown.

I think a Cenzoic Pack would be really weird with how little their would be
Fr, u used a base game and like 10 dlcs for reptiles, u cant just do 4 species for mammals and maybe birds
I mean there's only 1 Permian and 1 Devonian species as well as only 4 Triassic animals. Having 4 Cenozoic really isn't that far fetched
@@commodoreRumbleshanks I'm probably bias but I don't mind there being only two species from the Palaeozoic. They don't really feel that out of place.. The Cenozoic, on the other hand, really needs a lot for it to feel in place with this game, because right now with only four species the Cenozoic pack is going to be incredibly out of place

I think it has to be a Cenozoic DLC cause Frontier trys to fit in missing species from shows and films and this is probably the only time they can fit Smilodon into something.
I really hope other people will like this DLC, the fact that it's past the TK boundary just makes it not fit for me.
I love how Frontier is diving into more “recent” prehistoric species.

I think the marine species I listed would bring a lot of life and diversity to our lagoons.
But here’s a list of EVERYTHING Frontier needs to add to make this game better:
* Add deer and cow feeder
* Add roof lamp buildings from JWE1
* Add panel walls from JW 2015
* T-Rex arena
* Add ALL original buildings from JWE1
* More building options and customisation
* Add indominus Rex fence and gate
* Add shopping stands as a decor option that display hats, shirts, toys, etc.
* Add more building styles
* Add natural lagoons into sandbox
* Add kelp brush
* Add coral reef brush
* Add gentle giants
* Add the original hotel from JWE1
* Isla Nublar banners and tents from JW 2015
* Add new monorail station style that was found in JW 2015
* Expand forest brush to include all biomes in sandbox
* Remove hitbox option in sandbox
* Add A LOT MORE DECOR, and I don't mean trash cans and benches
* Add Aviary decor
* Add a museum attraction
* Add unique building styles for certain buildings
* Return the original arcade building
* Add the original movie theatre
* Add the water park
* Add the river tour
* Add baby dinosaurs (make it where it would be a veriant skin of that dinosaur)
* Add more building styles and variants instead of the basic boring square build.
* Add Lockwood estate
* ADD MORE UNIQUE BUILDING STYLES AND VARIANTS AND DECORATIONS.
* Add sitting/lounge piers as a decoration to attach to the lagoon
* T-Rex kingdom archway
* Path archway similar to the T-Rex archway
* Pachy Arena
* NO MORE HITBOX

You know it would actually be pretty poetic if a Cenozoic Pack was the last DLC.
I mean, the Cenozoic Era was the point in time when new life appeared after the end of the Mesozoic and the Extinction of the Dinosaurs.
To end the run of DLCs, after so many Dinosaur packs with a pack made from species born after the Dinosaurs, would honor one of the Jurassic Series' most famous quotes:

I don't know how I feel about this, I thought they would keep the cenozoic creatures for a third game, and I think that only four cenozoic species are not enough. But I am excited about this.

Amazing video evo! For a fan favourite pack I think that megladon, micro, shantungoaurus and argentasaurus would be good, or mapusaurus to get another carnivor into the mix, tho the titan pack idea is cool!
Im betting that it will be a cenozoic pack, it just fits so well for frontier, we have been talking about it for a while, and they have been good about listening to us in the past. I do need to ask a Evo, what would you think of them doing something with like what they did with the feathers and give us a little bit of cenozoic over a few more packs?

If it is an ice age pack, they’d better include the mammoth
Megalodon and an entire Cenozoic DLC would be incredible, imagine Smilodon and Mammoths in this game along with the dinosaurs, it would be strange but great (the animations would be very interesting), also imagine seeing large birds like Kelenken or Argentavis, but that's already too much to ask. I hope that one day they give new defense animations to sauropods against carnivores, and also that Quetzal can walk and try to hunt carnivores.
I don't know what to expect from the whole pack but the simple fact that we are getting a giant prehistoric shark is enough to get me happier than I have been with the hybrid pack 🎉
In the past, I was one of those who didn't really want Cenozoic creatures in the game, but I gotta say, they grew on me and now I'm extremely excited to see these species in my park! Especially the interactions and kill animations!
Also, let's hope Megalodon is ''The One'' and deliver us 🌿kelp🌿

What i would find super cool for Cenozoic Pack, would be 4 animals representing different groups. Megalodon for fishes, Smilidon for mammals, Kelenken/Titanis/Phorusrhacos for birds and Megalenia/Barinasuchus for reptiles.

hey evo,i know this isnt related to the vid but i have a question,i already have JWE2 on my ps4 and all the dlc excepts for the hybrid one,but i got a pc for xmas and im wanting to get the game on my pc,but i feel i will have wasted my money on the disc for my ps4 but i never use it anymore,should i get it on my pc?i also really want to use mods to get more dinosaurs and i would get the game when its on sale?

Megalodon, Smilodon, Wooly Mammoth and Terra Bird. Or Megatherium. But this definitely is a Cenozoic pack. Megalodon existed in the Pliocene. That was the time our earliest ancestors were starting to walk upright.
I mean the meg lived during the cenozoic era so its possible that we'll get a cenozoic pack and i really hope we get to see the woolly mammoth

It could also be a "missing species" pack where they do just that and add missing species from the movies, shows and posibly even videogames as well as features people want like sauropods fighting back and the kelp forest

Megalodon= lagoon creature
Hatzegopteryx or Zhejiangopterus= flyer
And the hybrid pack basically was the "thats not my favorite" for a good majority of community.
So im pretty hyped for a Cenozoic pack but iv never noticed anyone comment about the elephant (or mammoth) in the room with the potential of mammals in the game........ How will hatcheries work? Id be cool with just a little bit of flavour text replacing eggs with "artificial wombs" or something, but if they dont i will be tutting very loudly if im waiting for a cat to "hatch"

One idea I had was a possible “Popular Prehistoric Animals that weren’t Dinosaurs”, or maybe just a “Prehistoric Legends” pack. It would have Megalodon (duh), but also popular creatures such as Titanoboa, Deinosuchus/Sarchosuchus, and maybe something like Kaprosuchus.
Im building a Cenozoic park right now. if the DLC isn't a Cenozoic Pack i'll delete the park.

A Cenozoic pack containing only 4 species seems a little low. If I were Frontier, I'd give the Cenozoic species a full DLC expansion rather than a 4 animal DLC pack. That way, there's more variety than just the Meg, Smilodon, mammoth, and whatever 4th species.
Hey Evo, I have an idea for a future Site B build/ episode, maybe you do a warn down avairy research facility or maybe just a run down/ overgrown avairy, of course with the JP3 Pteranodons

I don't think it's likely, but sharks are make up my favorite group of animals so personally I'd buy a shark pack three times over👏

I believe its the first time I don't expect with big hype what the pack could bring up, actually Im more concerned about knowing if this time we will be getting a free update or from now on all species packs will be just that, more species and that's it. I really hope we get something else besides just more animals to out on the parks.

If it’s a Cenozoic pack, then I hope they have another DLC in the future that is a full expansion absolutely FILLED with Cenozoic animals. All the most famous Cenozoic animals.

i love these suggestions and possibilities and i’ll probably buy the pack, but atp we need more maps. it’s more like Jurassic America (ft. Europe). i’d love a Japan map, something tropical islands on the coast like a Bahamas or Tahiti map, Hong Kong map, Africa, Savannahs, etc
A Cenozoic pack would need a whole expansion for it to feel in place in the game just two mammals and one shark would feel so bare bones

@@EvolutionSquare but there’s stuff that’s built around them so they don’t feel so left out like if they were to do a expansion they could add a whole new style of buildings and new buildings as well they could also add a campaign as well there’s more ideas frontier can do when they go with a expansion rather than a pack
If we get those 4 in the pack I would be over the moon. I don’t play the game much anymore but I always buy the dlcs to support them. This would get me fully back into the game after not playing for almost a year now.
I do still hope that we will at some point get a Prehistoric Avian Species Pack in the future (if more dlc is planned after this one)
i think if its gonna be a cenozoic pack, it will most likely be more than one i,e cus theyre adding an entire new format of creature, because we have our basic dinosaurs, lagoon and pterasaurs, i think there will be atleast another cenzoic like pack in the future

Cenozoic content would best be part of a larger expansion. Hopefully this is a "fan-requested" pack with Microceratus, Plateosaurus, and Hatzegopteryx
Going to be 100% honest, for my 4 most wanted species I would struggle to pick more than two but the Megalodon and the Deinosuchus are two I would go wild for. Some variants for JPOG or JPTG would be amazing too though, like a hybridised version of Troodon with the pattern and glowing eyes.
It would be so funny if the teaser turned out to be a Hybodus or something
This is a mix between want and predict but I could imagine that this pack is not themed Cenozoic that adds 1 or 2 Cenozoic species. Then, Frontier might release an entire Cenozoic expansion with 6 new species, 3-4mammals, 1 terrabird, titanoboa and maybe something else (the species are definetely not a prediction). This way they could add more Cenozoic without them standing out too much, yet putting the Meg into a different pack to ensure that we'll buy it
Unrelated topic but imagine decorations for the ceiling of the aviary like hanging vines and stuff for the smaller animals like dimorphodon to hang on. That would be crazy
Be nice to see a mix of land sea and air species in a dlc oh and can someone tell frontier to introduce picket fences and lightning would be a nice addition to the game

Honestly, I don't care much about a cenozoic pack, BUT this next DLC being a pack instead of an expansion gives me a feeling whatever next (and probably last) expansion they're planning to do will be huge

Well here's the thing, the Miocene was an era in the Cenozoic so they do count....
dude, the miocene is one of the epochs of the cenozoic. So yes, these species did live in the cenozoic.

Now that i think of it, I honestly wouldn't mind too much if its something like a piscivore pack, but I still really want a cenozoic pack at some point. And if they do do a cenozoic pack more later on, it would save for another space for another land mammal or bird
I think barinasuchus or another land croc from the cenozoic is likely if it is a cenozoic pack. also I would find it incredibly funny if it was just cretoxyrina
I understand why people don't want a Cenozoic pack but from a bussiness perspective it would make some sense. With a new series coming this year and a movie the next I don't see why they would end this cash cow, the game is fairly popular in its niche and sells well. A Cenozoic pack would open the door to much more possibilities in the future, from new species to new campaigns (maybe some new story dlc explaining how some company decided to bring back these animals etc), so it would be a good way to keep the game alive for some more years.
Really hope it’s a cenozoic pack (even I think 6 species there would be way better when we prehistoric mammals which would be by far in the minority) or a Titan pack which would be also very welcome and fitting. Also I REALLY hope they will do at least one update to the aquatic stuff and let us really add more flora/decorations *fingers crossed*

I believe deep down in my soul that this will be a Cenozoic pack we just have to wait and see and finally maybe and hopefully that we are getting the smilodon in the game!!!!!
what i would want is paraceratherium (i might have miss spelled) and a terror bird i think that would be amazing. also rip sherlock evo

While a terror bird would be a great pick, i hope in this hypothetical cenozoic pack we get another mammal like a ground sloth or glyptodon because i think a terror bird while still different might blend in with the dinosaurs a bit so it be nice to have a creature that stick out even more
Being we need Smilodon, I think a Cenezoic type pack would be a realistic possibility.
I personally think it’s the Cenozoic pack. I have proof too. Does anybody else remember when frontier showed us that planet zoo models work in evolution 2? Well, the sabertooth tiger is literally a tiger!!! And in season on episode two of camp Cretaceous, ( I know Evo doesn’t watch it ) but it literally mentions Siberian wooly mammoth! And I mean, come on, of course megalodon would be in it. And I would also pass for some thing like either terror bird or a giant ground sloth ( I just want an excuse to name it Sid from ice age)
If frontier pumps out a few more DLCs, i could see microceratus being in a small dinosaur pack, maybe with micro raptor and maybe archeopteryx. As for the cenozic pack, it could work as a two parter, the first having megalodon, smiledon, mammoth and terror bird, and the next maybe having argentavis, doedicuris, giant ground sloth and maybe megalocerus/irish elk. I could also see them being broken up into cenozic carnivore and herbivore. With argentavis and the mammoth switching spots.

Megalodon will be awesome! But what I really hope for most is a prehistoric Crocodilian species pack with Deinosuchus and Sarcosuchus. Especially as Deinosuchas has already made an appearance in the Jurassic Park franchise many years ago.
