Dimash isn't as well known here in the US as he could be. Here did a concert in New York in 2019 at the Barclay Center, just before Covid shut everything down. There were fans from 54 countries and 47 States there. He is very well known, and his music is played in countries around the world, as well as performing concerts. Dimash refused to sign with any recording company here because he did not want to lose control of his music. So, I guess you could say he's been sort of blackballed here, and his music is not promoted here in the States. No worries. Dimash returned to Kazakhstan and built his own recording studio...Dimashali Creative Center. During COVID-19, he performed concerts at his own center. Two songs he did were SOS, and Olympico at his center. This enabled him to still do concerts during the shutdown and never missed a step.
