Liberty is one of the few college football teams in the nation that is still undefeated this season. Liberty came in the game tonight beating Western Kentucky behind Kaidon Salter’s 4 touchdown performance. He threw the ball for 169 yards and three touchdowns, and he carried it 13 times for 117 yard and a rushing touchdown.
Liberty continues to impress with great talent at the QB position. Solid team all around but I’m loving the QB’s leading the way there year after year. Go Flames!!!
Biggest win of the season so far for the Flames. They are pretty heavily favored in every remaining game, and I think they have a better than 50% chance of having an undefeated regular season as of now. This one was a lot closer to a toss-up going in, but Liberty looked good.
Yeah but they might lose the conference title. It's a toss-up as to who may get in, aside for Liberty, but I feel that Jacksonville State and even New Mexico State could have a chance of beating them.
@zaynes5094 I don't know about NMSU. They're beating some bad teams right now and they're on a run that's better than they've had in a very long time, but they lost to UMass and Liberty beat them without much of a problem. They do play each other for the last game of the regular season and I expect Jacksonville State to win that and maybe carry the momentum forward. The conference championship game probably will be the toughest one of the year for Liberty, as it should be. I think they'll be favored by a 60-40 margin or so, and it should be a good game. Although I do hope for a Liberty win and an undefeated season, the other main thing I'm hoping for is a good TV audience that's largely driven by interest in the season that the Flames are having.
Kinda like HS JV. I remember we used to play games random days of the week. Like one week we'd play on a Saturday at 2 pm and then the next we could be playing on a Thursday because we wouldn't want to play the day of Varsity's game. So the coaches would agree to play on Thursdays or Fridays if their was a Friday night or Saturday night game.
Just Win Baby!!! I've never seen a team be 8-0 before and still not be ranked in any poll. I don't care who you're playing, it's always extremely impressive to have a season like this. Obviously, the only way they will make a New Years' Six will be if Air Force loses, but I'm rooting for them. Also, the committee disrespects them so much, I would not be surprised in the slightest if they would choose a 1-loss Tulane team over Liberty as well.
@@CommonClowns. Actually, they will probably be ranked 25 this weekend. Also, It’s not like the school didn’t put bids in to play in the stronger AAC & Sunbelt conference. They are a top 25 team in total offense and defense, and have the 2nd best rushing game in the FBS, and the they have the 2nd most take aways on defense.
If Air Force and Tulane both lose, they should. Even if Liberty goes undefeated, they will still be overshadowed by a 1-loss Tulane team, because the Green Wave are seen as a much more "marketable" team than the Flames. Just look at the first CFP rankings. They put Air Force at #25 and Tulane at #24, while Liberty wasn't even ranked. It is absolute bs, but, like I said, even if only a little, Air Force and Tulane are more marketable than Liberty. You can also see that the playoff rankings are a cash grab by the fact that they put Ohio State at #1.

Dude is nasty I wish my canes could could get a qb like him😊
@@htatesil4192. Imagine if he hadn’t been dismissive from TN!
No comp

Yes y’all
Liberty Flames doing they thing this Year they number two in the nation in Rushing plus they undefeated.🏈
Probably only behind Air Force in rushing, I'd assume

Playing on a Tuesday is wild

It gets more eyes on these smaller schools. It's a good thing.
Crazy interception
As a Liberty fan I have to say I absolutely love Western Kentucky's helmets. Liberty should shamelessly copy that with Sparky.
I go to every home game for the flames and it fun watching them dominate
Big deal. Liberty schedule was the 133rd toughest this year. Thus their record means nothing
Rank em!
Liberty only plays on weekdays. Smart TV schedule to attract attention
Western Kentucky played decent.
Go Flames

Liberty should be ranked
You should go to the next open mic night. Funny guy!

if they keep winning, they will be ranked by the end of the season
Liberty has a stronger schedule than Air Force. Let that sink in when chatting about rankings.
@@bri-manhunter2654Have they really had any great wins though? They beat MTSU but MTSU isn't that good this year.
Best football helmets of all time
WKU football 🏈 is getting back on the path making a way to the Topps...🔥💪🏈
God has Blessed them all
Western Kentucky, and Eastern Kentucky should just join the mac for the entertainment purposes.
Those uniforms are so disrespectful how do you go to WKU and look better than them in their colors
heck yeah!!
If Liberty finishes undefeated, should they get the auto bid and play in a NY6 Bowl Game?

It was a massacre and they had no business playing Oregon. Waste of air time
Liberty O line is terrible so far every play I have watched has holding on multiples and illegal use off hands to the face. Beer league officiating.
Liberty has not played anybody! Never heard of them until this year. Come play a top SEC team they will get blown out, or even a Top Pac-12 team! LOL!
well duh
Captain obvious, we salute you 🫡
WKU defense is garbage.
who?
