The weird thing about Liberty University hockey is that it is just club hockey. It is consistently one of the top club teams in the country but not even NCAA. I never knew their ice arena was so nice.
That has everything to do with Title IX. The Women's D1 Club hockey team has more banners than the men. The problem is there are so few schools that offer NCAA D1 women's hockey that it would be an extreme amount of travel for the ladies to move to the NCAA, and it would be very difficult to get home games scheduled. Title IX says that if the men's league moves from club level to NCAA level, then the women's league of that same sport must also move to NCAA level. That is why LU hockey remains at the Club level.
I went to Liberty from 2010-14, played D-1 tennis there. Liberty Started most of what you see on campus now around that time. It was like over 500 million that was put into athletic and academic buildings during that time. They continued to build after I graduated. There was a tonnnnnn of construction going on when I was there those 4 years.
Grew up there, Liberty has one of the largest donor pools in the country and one of the biggest online program in the world. Their athletic facilities are all pretty much and they have to spend all the donor money to maintain their non-profit status which is the reason for constant construction. Most synthetic field are replaced every 8-10 years, Liberty is on a 5 year schedule for every facility just because they have the money to do so.
Dude, you didn't even find the natatorium and didn't visit Snow Flex either. LOL! You definitely showed up during summer break if they are hosting HS graduations. And that's not the basketball stadium anymore, that's next door to the building you were in.
@@carsawn I mean it’s common knowledge that as a school they’re pretty backwards. New world creation. Lack of objectivity in every department. Based on religion rather than reality.

If you go on a game day, you have full access to ALL FACILITIES
You came during the summer! Of course everything is sleepy. During the semester you can hardly find a parking spot unless you have a motorcycle 😊
I was at Liberty's campus for a hockey game walked past their football stadium, there was a wide open gate and I debated going full GFed mode 😂
You forgot the Shooting Sports facility.
The large indoor venue is called the Vines center, you missed the Liberty Arena next door that is the new state of the art basketball arena.
The arena is next to vines center where you went in. If you’re up here again lmk and I’d love to help you out!
this is a milestone! it’s the first video of yours that shows full screen on my TV 🎉🎉🎉🎉
You got catching up to do if ya think this is the first one!

Rutgers is not too far from where you’ve been more recently. Try to walk on at a BIG10 venue and THE BIRTHPLACE!
