🌿 recreating a painting: monet // draw with me using arrtx 72 oil pastels

How have you been doing?
We’re back with the “recreating painting” series which we lovedddd working on and I hope you enjoy it as much as we did as well 🥰 This time I recreated a painting by Monet, which is also one of my all time favourite artists net to Van Gogh of the impressionist era !! And enjoyed drawing this beautiful scene and learning more about the background of both the artist and the painting.
I definitely recommend recreating paintings of amazing masters as it helps to learn new color and painting techniques so much and inspires you along with it ✨ Let me know in the comments if you ever get to recreate a painting too and I would love to see your recreations on instagram as well so please tag me @miilkytae on instagram 🙌🏻
I drew this artwork only using the 72 oil pastels by arrtx and loved every single color so much and was amazed by the color range of the greens since the main color of monets painting was green 🌿 if you’re interested in trying out oil pastels for the first time I’d wholeheartedly recommend these from Arrtx since they’re very beginner-friendly as well as perfect for artists with more experience ☺️

I’ve been in a HUGE art block with everything and to be honest so gloomy and lazy lately from the rainy weather in Canada, and you taught me a lot btw. But, now I’m more interested and old artist and impressionists and look forward to more videos like this that will make me Learn about art.
