The denali thing has always been chrome
But millennials don’t like chrome, so they’ve given us dark chrome
But not everywhere
Dark chrome on grille and GMC badges
Dark chrome on rear GMC badge
All the rest of it is normal chrome
Front recovery hooks

We have a 2024 3500 HD Denali Sierra. We just picked it up. Watched your video but did not hear about why there is no cigarette lighter in the truck? We don’t smoke but use it for other electronics like a radar detector. Do you know if they do have them and where it would be in the truck? We have looked and nope, can’t find it. 🤷♀️ Thanks

Thank you for mentioning your height. I'm 6'6" and in every video I have seen about these trucks, the presenters look so tiny in comparison. So it's good to know that my kids can fit behind me, and they would have plenty of leg room. Being a big guy, I've had to take my kids truck shopping and have them sit behind me to see if they could fit or not. Most trucks and SUVs I've checked out are comfortable for me as a driver, but suck for leg room in the back seat behind me.
Super Cruise is not offered in the GMC HD's, the new global B architecture needs additional memory to handle Super Cruise, supposedly they are working on it, my guess is it may not appear until the next update. The all windows down now works from your remote, reason there is no button. Double press and hold the unlock until the windows fully open ( remote window operation has to be enabled in your setup features ). The "shark fin" is for OnStar, xm satellite radio, and gps. The antenna is just for AM/FM radio.
But don't forget no rule on mixing dark crome with true crome. How many times does he say chrome?
Isn’t the global B architecture on the light duty trucks as well? If so, what in the HD would be enough of a memory hog to prevent the implementation of super cruise?
Who cares it’s 2200 for a thing that doesn’t work anyways on the 1500’s.. Tesla in a rainstorm or snow storm works fine. GM turns off any slight weather

It has an interesting color. I think it would look better with the wheel well flares were optioned with the color match.
It took me years to like the steps on the side and rear bumper but I’ve grown to love them.

it's a nice truck but seems confused as to what it wants ... you got bright chrome mixed with dark chrome mixed with unpainted plastic, clear markers ontop and amber on sides ... all this just looks like they smashed stuff together ... I like the idea but needs cleaning up to make it smooth and flowing ...
Damn! $100k truck and still has plastic fender trim. No paint match for that kind of money is crazy.

@@dwnshft appreciate that! Currently have a elevation trim and the ride is very smooth. Have you tested the denials do they ride smoother then all other trim levels?
@@scotted6763ultimate 1500s ride smooth,but you won’t feel a better ride than the Yukon Denali or Denali ultimate,these 2500s will always ride rougher,but not nearly as bad as the f250s and ram2500s since they have a solid front axle

For 100k you think GMC would have put in a eye glass holder compartment. Also there is not a 4 pin flat trailer harness connection built in??? My Ford had it. Also the adaptive cruse is clumsy when changing lanes and maintaing speed. 😂

You really should not be reviewing GM heavy duty products if you don’t even know anything about Allison
The ONLY thing ford has over GMC is their front seats are way more comfortable. My 2021 Denali 2500 HD seats are terrible.
If you use the truck for work or hauling constantly the solid front axle is better too. Owned superdutys all my life and keep hearing seats are pretty rough on gmcs. I was gonna buy one but kinda stuck between ford/gmc.
That transmission sucks on the 2024. Software updates on it is a mess. Clunky. I am dealer bound again with my Chevy 2500 HD LTZ (same spec truck) that had engine limp mode failures from when brand new. GM needs to do better.....Unions are the problem....Pissed! There is no American truck out there that represents American quality. It has all gone to hell.
Is it a GMC tranny or a Allison, got told there’s no issues with the Allison trans
Unions are definitely not the problem blame shitty engineering not the workers building these trucks to the specs they’re told to.

Ford fairies are a different breed they will find all sorts of reasons to separate their trucks from others they will tell you their 6.7 power stroke is unstoppable before they tell the issues it has but will have no problem in telling you what's wrongs with a Cummins or a Duramax can't stand people who stand by a brand to the end especially when their recall numbers come in
