  • Think about how your mind feels when you wake up each day. It's often full and busy, like a bee hive, buzzing with thoughts about what you need to do, problems you have to solve, and things that happened yesterday. It's like being caught in a storm in your head, where you keep going back to old memories and often judging yourself. It's tiring and keeps your mind busy all the time. In today's video, I'll explain how to empty yourself and live a better life. Make sure to watch till the end.

    6:41 "This choice is the real power of emptiness. It's the ability to find peace even when everything around you is chaotic at its heart." I've found that the more I do this, the less and less I find myself in chaotic circumstances. Must be an "oil and water" kind of thing.

      Same, I was little curious if I was still able to think too.. how crazy is that concept.. I feel like THIS is the base we're all meant to have to THEN grow and truly be able to move forward through clarity, just instinctively knowing what's "right" or not right for US individually on our individual paths together❤

      @@GretchenMariehi ,I've found that through meditation when I focus on my breath and connect my head to my heart that I don't think as much. My mind is much clearer. As a person who has been experiencing emptiness for quite a while, you have absolutely described it perfectly. It has become second nature now and this video simply highlights the points that I take for granted as I have forgotten what it was like before the emptiness entered my life. Would I ever return to my previous way of life? Never, it’s so worth it, even the losses that come with it pale in comparison.

    This practice of connecting to our higher self through silence of the egoic mind is truly the key to understanding one's self. Had a pleasant impact in giving more control to the silent observer, the same "I am" in each of us, these: poem by Rumi "Love said to me" & learning from quantum physics that each of us (and every physical part of this Universe), at an atomic level, we are more space than the actual mass and size of the nuclee (still something I reflect on).

    No mater how an individual practices emptiness, there's lifes struggles that are out of our control, yet put in the way of everyone...& many of these are to be thought about & fought, or be magnified if left alone.
    Eg. A legal matter that requires resolving.

      @keepitreal1547 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@davidalbro2009
      WOW that's a comment I'd like to keep, if I may?
      Mental chatter is, in extreme cases a very debilitating mental disorder/condition. It can manifest itself into something far beyond what ailments (usually acute anxiety/depression) presented. Too much internal thinking, especially if over an already health issue, is a problem many suffer with, when they've give up on outward thoughts.
      What's your experience on mental chatter/brain chatter?
      I know it only too well, unfortunately.

    • @keepitreal1547
      @keepitreal1547 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@RainbowHeron
      Exactly, I agree & because of such, we ought not to take as solving our problems.
      There is a very stark difference.
      I'm currently going through a difficult time & not through my own doing, but outside events. As much as I practice the views in this video, it's an issue that can't be (just) dismissed. In doing so, the issue will only magnify & so cause greater stress & anxiety, than it already is.
      There's reality & there's idealism...they rarely mix or work together.

    • @davidalbro2009
      @davidalbro2009 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@keepitreal1547 Oh, I have so much to say about mental chatter.
      Many, many years ago probably in the mid-90s my sister told me "you overanalyze. I thought "it's not possible to over analyze".
      On the other side, when I was younger, I had very little inner dialogue. I remember in school we learned about a "stream of consciousness" in literature. At the time I thought "that's not how people think" (if I had verbalized it). I didn't think so because that's not what my inner environment was like. I might have an occasional word pop into my head, but my thinking was much more visual than verbal.
      It was only a few years back that I read an article about how only a relative small percentage of the population doesn't have an internal dialogue.
      This helped me greatly in school. Without an internal dialogue I just absorbed what was presented in class but missed out what I didn't read. Reading was laborious. I was used to a much more easy mental process. Nonetheless I did well and school.
      I slowly developed as verbal dialogue, and thus, and increased ego. This led to years of depression and suicide attempts.
      This also led me to get a degree in psychology and more recently deeper dives into spirituality.
      It is only in the last year or two that I really began to know and experience what I am in relation to thoughts.
      It started with Abraham Hicks and Tony Robbins many years ago. They introduced me to the idea of the malleable nature of thoughts.
      It was when I really started analyzing my thoughts just a couple years ago I realized some of the crazy things I was telling myself.
      Perhaps the biggest thing I realized is that it is okay to be happy. For many people, including myself a few years ago, this seems like such an obvious thing on the surface. Of course it's okay to be happy.
      A couple years ago, however, is that I wasn't allowing myself not to be happy for no reason at all. "Why am I not happy right now?" "Because I need to worry about this or that." "Really, is worrying about this or that helping anything?" "No. It's really not. If anything, it's making things worse."
      I then learned soon after that this is the role and purpose of the ego: to find problems where there is none in order to survive. The ego is great for physical survival, awful for happiness.
      The reason the ego is awful for happiness is because only our true nature is happiness. The ego is diametrically opposed to the true nature because the ego CLAIMS to be the true nature.
      Once our true nature is realized, the ego is allowed to do what it does. It is also largely disintegrated and what remains is much more benevolent. We never have to fight the ego. Ever. Doing so is just the ego keeping itself strong and mean.
      The ego is just a collection of thoughts that say we are this or that. When we experience what we really are, when we know what we really are, those thoughts are much less important.
      The best way I know by far to experience the true self is the relax as much as possible in any and every situation. It is so easy that it almost seems silly. But this just speaks to the truth of our true nature. What could be easier than being our true self?
      When we relax and release thoughts forms, tension in the body, and the need to do or be anything, our true nature is allowed to shine. Our true nature is peace, love, and joy.

    Not every often we can express what we think or what we feel with vast , immense a wide range and for sure we don't want to express because certainly won't make difference, Change always starts with ourselves. In life it's about being existing and how depending on our identification with ourselves. I don't pretend to be simple I'am and where we are simply be there is also silence and the soul travels to God ,Much gratitude from the heart for this post ,I use to ask God to bless those whom I care more than me ,

    This is weird, I meditated in the first time I have in years, forgot I called cap on seeing auras, but my full heart into it and under the right state of mind, I can. My aura has seemed to of gotten brighter as of now, going from a dark mossy green to an emerald light, bordering on yellow. In meditation I was asking why an earth would God (theoretically) need a general of angels in Micheal? Not an hour later, say a luminous being just fly past my window. Later I went to the park to see the stars, also to meditate outside, it was cloudy, I wished it wasn't, something pulled me to go home, I did, as soon as I walked into my home, the heavens parted.
    Now these coincidences happen all the time, everything leads to me thinking I write my fate, and as someone who has had narcissist tendencies and finds it incredibly easy to manipulate others, I have to keep in my mind to stay humble, for I know where that path goes and it gets dark, fast. It's something I constantly work on, and I am most happy when those around me are happy. That part helps a lot.
    That being said, to me seeing is believing, as an atheist (need to find a better word than that, that's an absolute, I heavily dislike absolutes) it's wild to me, you can see auras! That is quite magical and like lead with that when saying the benefits of spirituality. I absolutely walk my own path, while listening to advice and guidance to choose for myself to agree or disagree, for we are all stories in the end.

If you didn't have fear you wouldn't be here anymore and you wouldn't be going through all the suffering. So you're literally creating this dream. You're in a dream.
