- Oud Satin Mood perfume was created by the French company Maison Francis Kurkdjian in 2015. It is a lush scent filled with sensuality and warmth a woody, oriental fragrance ideal for a formal evening out on the town. This fragrance for women opens with aromas of Turkish and Bulgarian rose, violet and benzoin, which complement deep notes of agar wood.

One of my absolute favorite scents, every time I have worn this, I always receive compliments.
This is by far my favorite from MFK! A stunning, stunning scent! It’s made it’s way to the top of my fragrance collection!

Went to Neiman Marcus today to get the Baccarat 540 and ended up leaving with Oud Satin Mood. This is like the best Oud I've even smell. I thought Creed Royal Oud was it for me until today.

Man, I can't agree with you more. I have a small decant of the "Extrait de parfum" and I immediately fell in love with it. Due to budget, I went with the EDP which is side by side, the edp is a brighter fragrance for me. It's a true masterpiece from Francis Kurkdjian.

I’m glad you got on board. I got this one a little while back. My Extrait version should be arriving today. This is a top 3 in my collection. I had to get the Extrait so I can have 2 in my rotation
What do you detect as the differences? To me the extrait lends just a touch more masculine with the cinnamon, ambers and geranium. I also pick up a hint more “dirty ness” from the Oud way down at the base. I love them both, but the extrait is a hair less sweet.
It is my Secret Weapon of Seduction! I break necks when I wear it , men & woman are attracted to this , I have the the Extrait . Probably one of the strongest/ long lasting frags I have . My favorite from the house 👍, great video

You are absolutely right about this fragrance being a weapon of destruction but you forgot to mention in your TH-cam video that it’s a weapon of mass destruction. Not only to that special someone but to the pocket as well. All jokes aside you get what you pay for in this fragrance. It’s long-lasting and one of the bests OUDs I’ve had the pleasure experiencing. This OUD will Definitely garner conversation from lovely passer-byes. Mind you don’t get lost for words when stopped because the OUD won’t help you in that area. LOL

I have been rocking it since you Darren my brother from another introduce me to this frag 2 years ago. It’s so potent and good last all day n night all you need is one or 2 at most. I can’t afford it but I do get 10 ml decant bcz of you my friend I rock it once and a while with my wife special occasion she love it so much so she wants to buy a bottle , by the way she is a R N so she can afford it lol.
I got a sample. It’s hard to pick up the Oud but it’s in there. Strong rose. 🌹. There is something a a little powdery in it perhaps? I like it but not sure I would buy a whole bottle. Get a sample first. It might grow on you. I agree with you, this has an evening vibe. 👍

I wanna recant my previous statement; after sitting with this fragrance for almost 24 hours; I'm starting to like it and the rose note isn't as bad as it was when I first smelled it. My nose adjusted to the rose note.
I have never smelled anything from this house, but it seems like everything this guy does is perfection. And at 300 that's definitely not in my blind buy price range, I'd definitely have to smell it first.
It smells like cotton candy, extremely girls, I sprayed it on today for work from a sample set I get for him on the MFK website... I dislike it very much, extremely feminine and smells just like cotton candy

I got a sample of it and it really is amazing, but if you go more then one or two sprays, be prepared to be wearing this for the next couple days and people will smell you down the street 😂

The rose note in OUD Satin Mood Extrait De Parfum is too strong to me; and I don’t like this fragrance at all. This is my first and last time trying any ROSE & OUD combination. I’m not a fan of this particular rose note. Maybe I need to smell the EDP instead of the Extrait De Parfum. What do you suggest Darian?

Oud? My foot! I happen to live in a country where there aren’t a Single place to sample this perfume. Long story short, I had to order a sample from overseas, paying some bullcrap custom fees called ”luxury tariff “ and after weeks of drama, I get to sniff it. NO Oud detected whatsoever. I don’t know how well you guys know your Oudh but I buy my Oud oils from the factories where they distill these liquid devils and send them over to Dubai. But the make is definitely a satin mood joint minus the Oud.
Agree! It’s an amazing fragrance, I love to wear it, but I don’t smell any oud at all.
Remember most of these TH-camrs do not really know anything about the actual combination of fragrances and that most ingredients used in fragrances are aromochemicals and not naturals. Aaron Terrence Hughes is a perfumer and he reviews fragrances from a scientific standpoint. He has me looking at these reviewers with a side eye when they give their reviews lol. Aaron also makes his own perfumes so you could check him out. I still listen to Darien and a few others because I like their style and I'm listening because I love fragrances.

OSM is such a strange beast. I get a slightly medicinal oud and a lychee accord. So sexy, so strong, but kinda difficult for a guy to pull off IMHO.

I blind bought this one after all the positive reviews. I honestly believe that it is in my top 3 most appalling scents. Way way to sweet and nauseating. My wife said that it is the worst fragrance she ever experienced on me. And she is into some crazy weird fragrances. My secret weapons are Oud Wood by Tom Ford and Musc Ravageour by F.M.
