i just got a 93 del sol, its been my dream to own one since i was 15 its my pride and joy

i love when sol's are well done and not ruined(camber/too low/shitty proportions) like the one at 3:56. the first one at 0:21 is also very nice,though i prefer bigger wheels on sol's(those are alright though).
Had a b16a1 all red del sol in high school that was stolen. Finally got a project del yesterday and my wife and I are going to build it. Gonna sand it down in a few weeks and paint it black. Get some bronze wheels for it. I'm super stoked. Not the b16 but maybe one day I'll do a swap on it.

I've had my Sol for yrs now. I've been raising my daughter single father all that stuff so my Sol's had to take a back seat here and there but I always bring it back to life! Well its 1993 all stock I did put another engine in it several years back but it wasn't high performance (D15B7). So I've just recently put her back on the road and I have been debating on bigger rims but my friend says NO it'll mess evr thing up! I've never changed anything but the engine !. Suggestions on wheel size and VTEC engine swap (again although the D15 is very peppy and very clean!)

Zelo - - No yes what just yes. Can't go wrong with either unless ya get crap deals on both. I have a Sol personally, but do you want FWD or RWD, often both are convertible, both have great power to weight ratios, but the Miata has better balance
@Ricky Rick most anything will last if it's yalen care of well. I.E. I had a 94 ranger for a year that had 236k miles on it. Best $400 I ever spent. I have a 95 Del Sol that the time Had 137k miles. The stock motor blew, it needs an alignment, half the suspension is f***ed and its burning coolant. And that's with a new motor. So it goes either way

Still most cars are stanced. Keep making them but engine sound is what petrolheads want, just make a transition from music to engine sound and it will be better.

I rub dielectric grease on my seals every few months. Mine is a 93. The later models have revised seals with bigger lips. But the main thing on any car is to wash & wax it to bead the water up and it flows off.
