Far too many Americans simply say 'show me the way'. Real democracy demands courage and wisdom, both seemingly in short supply in the U.S today. John Adams said "Remember, democracy never lasts long. Why does everyone keep talking about Biden stepping down, but no one comes up with a GOOD, electable alternative! Biden has shown so much capability after the debate, but there is so little coverage of that. I agree that the discussion of who should be the candidate is a good thing to have, but not without offering an alternative. Without that the discussion is just negative and counterproductive.
