Another gem brought to me. Oh how lucky am I to have accidentally come across your artistry. Given the devastating floods all over the world „Und morgen wird die Sonne wieder scheinen“ is an unbelievably cheering up line.
A million Thanks, Primož! I have been listening to this lovely performance by Ernestina (and Ivan) every day, at least once, since the day you presented it here, and have shared it with many friends. Beautiful beyond words to describe. Me ke aloha... 😊🌈💖
@@zevnikov Doing well here. Are you taking lots of video on your trip, which you will edit onto a TH-cam video? I hope so. And I hope thqt you have received my email letter. Me ke aloha to you all... 😊💖🌈
yes , Conrad . this was beautiful . Ernestina is starting to look like a young Lady and her voice has more clarity . I love this channel thanks for the link
@@volpegregori5348 Yes, she is going to have an amazing career, and I am certain that Primož will be recording her concerts and recitals for years to come. On his channel, you will find hundreds of videos of the most beautiful musical performances, by his Gimnazija Kranj Symphony Orchestra and Choirs, and by Ernestina and other superb soloists, that you are ever likely to see and hear. Here's a starting suggestion... from the orchestra's Very last concert, in December 2018 ("Zadnje potovanje domov": "Last Journey Home"). This is the first song that I learned to sing in Slovene from memory, and you will find the English verses as translated by my good friend Tog in the onscreen captions. And please read Primož's notes accompanying this video so that you know the emotion of the verses and the sad story of Carinthia, once a part of Slovenija. Almost everytime I sing along with Ernestina on this one, my eyes get wet thinking about the history and heartache of that beautiful countryside at the foot of the Alps. th-cam.com/video/2WuLFWOMfSk/w-d-xo.html
@@conradinhawaii7856 it’s just my opinion. I personally prefer it to be slower. There isn’t a numerical metronome indication in the original score as far as I remember so it’s quite subjective. I did however feel like she was making an effort to keep up with his tempo rather than him matching her. But I may be wrong as I have a bias towards a slower pace for this piece.
@@tokkia1384 Nothing wrong with a personal preference. I have heard some pianists drag out "Morgen", and others rush it like they were late for "happy hour". When I learned it decades ago on piano, this was the tempo in which I played it. And you are correct... there is no tempo specified on Mister Strauss's original score. If you are new to Ernestina Jošt, look for other videos under her name, or under "Zevnikov" on TH-cam. My friend Primož Zevnik was her high school music tutor, and now directs and produces these videos. Also, look for her as a soloist on the videos of "Gimnazija Kranj Symphony Orchestra and Choruses", the high school/youth orchestra founded and directed by Mr. Zevnik in 2002, and where Ernestina got her start as a soloist. And you will also find her as a frequent soloist with the superb "Carmen manet" women's choir, based in her hometown of Kranj, which is composed of graduates of Gimnazija Kranj. She recently graduated with honors from the Ljubljana Academy of Music with a Masters degree in lyric singing and, no doubt, has a wonderful performing career ahead of her.
Such a beautiful and gorgeous angelic voice. I love your voice Ernistina.
Bellissima interpretazione bellissima voce 😚😚😚
Hvala.
A beautiful end to the morning and an emotional lift to endure the remainder of the day. Thank you Miss. Jošt, Mr. Pernicki, and Mr. P. Zevnik.

Her voice is beautiful! But the tempo is a little hurried - the pianist needs to slow down!
Yes, her voice is absolutely lovely, and always has been. But no, it is not hurried, and no, he doesn't need to slow down.
