They spin because it’s a ball joint. Like your arm attached to your shoulder.

You’re supposed to hold the nut and put another socket on the tip of the stem. I believe the upper portion is a 15 open end on the nut and 7 on the tip. How and why did your upper ball joint get disconnected?..

I just replaced my 01 vic lx and it was more difficult than it should have been.

Gary are these moog units bigger than the stock?

I don't know but they definitely fixed the wiggly sway bar
