Crismon Flower: Edlegard has enough sense to target them seperately and not brutally. Verdant Wind: Claude has enough trust to try and reason with Dimitri, but Dimitri lost himself in his wrath towards Edlegard. Azure Moon: With Dimitri somewhat listens to reason thanks to Byl Edlegard ruins it by pitting the Alliance against Faergeus and unleashes the brawl Silver Snow: With Byleth on no ones side, it becomes a scarlet sunday.
I feel each Route needs great consequences. Without the Professor keeping Dimitri sane he becomes the beast Felix claimed him to be. He's a monster living on revenge. Claude sees within the war his dream will not carry out unless the alliance becomes part of the kingdom or empire. He leaves with hope Fodlan will become a better place. Edelgard becomes heartless in her goal and all compassion she could of had was taken away by her blinded views of the world.
In Azure Moon, I suppose it kind of happens-- but it was not meant to be. Not in this battle. BL/GD gang will always be bros though. Fuck Edelgard. All my homies hate Edelgard.
@@nytony28 The one thing that would have actually helped Edelgard, would have been talking to Rhea or at least Seteth about TWSITD. If Seteth knew about Edelgards quarrel with them, I bet he would have tried to convince Rhea to join forces with Edelgard to defeat them. It was TWSITD that ruined Edelgards and Rheas lifes, but since no one is ever talking about their problems, they can't all join forces. I'm just sad for Edelgard, because even if she wins, she won't be able to enjoy it for long, because her life is gonna end before she can implement all of her reforms. But because Edelgard was made to believe that Rhea is evil, she doesn't even try talking it out with her. And because of Rheas mommy issues, she too isn't sane enough to make good decisions. @@sauce4279 best route anyways is siding against Edelgard and Dimitri via Verdant Wind. It frees Brigid from being annexed by the Empire (which Petra says is often looked down upon for its size and lack of land/military), and grants it new statehood as its own sovereign nation again. After the war, new leaders would be chosen for both the Kingdom and Empire eventually, that would sit at the alliance table. Edelgard was a lost cause going in to this as she did not have desire for compromise, and Dimitri was not mentally sound to rule to begin with. The Verdant Wind route also weakens the power of the church, as Claude is strictly against blind faith; and after everything that plays out, he would undoubtedly disarm the church. I find it best to recruit Petra, Felix, Sylvain, and Ferdinand for this reason. Each would make excellent leaders at the Alliance roundtable, and either Sylvain or Felix would likely be appointed to lead the Kingdom, if recruited post time skip. I would suggest Ingrid as well, but she seems to lack the skill set and desire for rule; and last I'd checked is not currently the leader of her house, like the other two are. So priority wise, it looks like rule of the Kingdom would fall to Sylvain, and then to Felix. If Sylvain is appointed to rule, he would likely set Felix as second in command, and marry Ingrid. This would stengthen the Kingdom and it's relations with the Alliance, possibly building back bridges of Ingrid's family, with their roots in the Alliance. Sylvain also has a level head and treats both commoners and nobles equally, which would get along well with Claude as a leader to leader friendship.
I often find that Fire Emblem music remixes don't keep true enough to the feeling of the original, and end up being not as enjoyable as the original for me. This is not one of those.
When you play blue lion or golden deer does the team you didnt pick even attack the black eagles? I engaged Petra with Great knight Hilda who was super tanky while enemy Petra is dodgy but squishy. When it was Dimitris turn he despite both Hilda and Petra being in his reach instead goes for Hilda who is way too tanky for him. After it was my turn again i noticed that Petra actually has "stealth" which i never thought enemys could have any use for because player controlled units could still attack them right?
So in the case of the second battle at Gronder the Yellow teams seems to be set to charge to where Byleth is on the map. The Ai targeting should be following the standard method of taking the best fight for them out of possible targets regardless of side they are on. In your mentioned case yes Petra having stealth is in play and means the AI would set her as the lowest priority target of all options they had thus Hilda was targeted instead.
Oh my god, this is a MASTERPIECE. Can i express my love here for a moment? (lmao go wild like me & try to picture it as if you're a bl/gd student ...... or a very cynical be student that would rather leave) I love how those violines right at the beginning make you feel like reminiscing over the battle of the eagle and lion - the playful mock battle, maybe make up a scenario or another of what happened after the battle, all houses sitting together, celebrating, singing, joking and cherishing their friendship etc. and then immediately, those happy memories are torn away from you. You're back on the very same (battle)field but this time it's not a mock battle. This time you must be ready to kill those who you made friends with back at the Academy, this time you musn't show weakness, reluctance or fear - or it might mean your death. Five years changed a lot - you see that in everyone's faces, they're exhausted, angry, but there's a determined glimmer in their eyes that says - "I will survive another day, you shall not strike me down!" (you notice that especially in your allies & your former friends from other houses as you battle them, strike them down). You fight with all you got, still standing as stench of blood and death becomes unbearable. You can't help but picture the happier times - asking Marianne about Dorte, watching Ignatz paint, getting spoiled by Annette's and Mercedes' cooking. You can't help but beg to the Goddess to let this battle end quickly - the Professor, someone has to bring Edelgard to her knees. Yet you know, everyone is just as determinded as you to keep fighting, to win. There is no end in sight to this battle. To survive, you must fight on. (sowwy)
This battle wouldn’t make sense in Crimson Flower. The Empire would have to be pushed back into its own borders, which would never happen if Byleth is with them. Besides, Tailtean Plains is better.
Truth despair and hope from fire emblem the sacred stones really fits the second battle Claude seeks the truth of the world Dimitri is lost in his despair that made him into the boar prince Edelgard hopes for a new world free from the system of nobility
When I heard this theme, I would think this version of Between Heaven and Earth, would play in a route, where Byleth would unite all of Fodland... against them, by becoming the ruthless overlord that usurped Thales and his followers to take over those who slithered in the dark, the second coming of Nemesis, taking credit for all the hardships that Edelgard, Dimitri and others went through, all this so the past timelines wouldn't come to fruition, this could be this timelines version of Gronder Field, after all the armies are united and the students confront Byleth for the first time in years, there professor now turned conqueror.
Even though I know Edelgard was in the wrong. I still liked her more than everyone else. Azure moon path was too boring for me. Only route I tried three times and just could not care to finish each time despite hearing how people loved it
