I was originally actually not going to do this one at all. When listening to the whole soundtrack, I found this song was mostly just Blue Skies and a Battle with Edge of Dawn as the melody, so in my cover of Blue Skies I referenced the theme. However my comments have been flooded with requests for this one anyway so how could I resist?
It honestly was awesome to come back to it because I had some ideas that didn't work for the first one that I could prepare for from the start. I wanted to hit the bridge section with a Contortionist/Periphery style clean section but since the last one was more classical guitar based, I wanted to keep that idea. This time I was able to craft the arrangement around more of that idea. Plus since I released that one, I went through a few different mix overhauls so I think this one sounds a lot cleaner and bigger than that one.
Still so many Fire Emblem songs I'd like to do, but I've been itching to do more stuff from the new Pokémon game! Let me know what you want to hear from this game or that one and I'll consider it moving into December! Thanks for watching! :)

FamilyJules would you consider doing A Star in the morning sky? It plays only during the unit epilogue during the credits. It also is one of the few times you hear the main fire emblem melody.

Should just do like you did with Octopath and make an album of these for me to buy.

Add in 3 philosophical lines that fit the tone and theming not just of the other two quotes but of the game itself, and that’s where this quote came from.

You ALREADY did a Blue Skies and a Battle cover. NOBODY ASKED YOU TO GO THIS HARD- AND HERE YOU ARE. I absolutely ADORE how you manage to make the "aesthetic" sound of the two songs so distinctly different. You keep the friendly rivalry/competative spirit in Blue Skies, but in this one- where most covers lean hard into the desperation, you put a lot more accent on the tragedy. I legitimately wept as I made my first couple pass throughs of this cover. God DAMN how can one bard ROCK SO HARD!!!?

@@OrangeKyle91 I'd love a mix of Fódlan and Jugdral even more since Three Houses got many ideas from Genealogy of the Holy War's story, including the whole "three protagonists from the same knight academy" thing (and later fought each other in a war).
@@OrdonWolf Jugdral is great, but I think a Genealogy remake needs to come first. Otherwise, a large portion of the international fandom will only know them from FE Heroes, even if they've played every official release since Blazing Blade. Some people aren't comfortable with emulation, even if there's no official international release. Outside of Japan, characters like Roy, Lyn, Ike, and the Black Knight are far more recognizable thanks to Smash Bros, and Blazing Blade was the best-selling FE before the 3DS games, which is why I suggested Elibe and Tellius.
Ooh, I didn't think you'd do this one, considering, well, everything you already wrote in the description. Yes, there is some overlap with Blue Skies and a Battle, but not only was that one really great to begin with, this take on the song makes it feel fresh to me anyway.

You'd think given how Between Heaven and Earth is so similar to Blue Skies and a battle that the metal version would be hard to differentiate, but damn you brought the game's intensity to this. While I'm always up for more FETH covers, one I'd really like to see is Roar of Dominion.
