Hi Jonathan. Sorry if I’m late to the party! Are you using a chorus effect on the verses? I hear many covers using one. I thought I might have heard a little warble, but my ear could have been playing tricks on me. That bridge pickup is chimy in all the right ways!
It's indeed an Fm, but because of the capo he's basically playing an Em7 shape or at least it looks like it. Relative to a capo from the deepest string to highest sounding string each fret would be: 0 + 7 +5 +7 + 0 + 0. At least that's what it looks like he's playing.
